Wow. Yesterday was quite the day for the Big Brother House. I think it made paying for the feeds well worth it all on it’s own! Things were happening so fast it was difficult to keep up.
As of early Wednesday morning before the hamsters went to bed, I was certain Eric was going home. The Dastardly Donados had gotten into Amber’s head, she was pissed off at the world and ready to draw and quarter Eric all on her own. Which she did when she called him out loudly in front of the whole house, leaving the houseguests understandably stunned.

It looked like Eric was sunk. It was painful to watch, and to see him so visibly hurting while Amber told and retold her story of calling him out was heart-wrenching. Don’t get me wrong - he was in the wrong about it, but Amber’s high and mighty bs is getting on my last nerve!
I still couldn’t read Dustin, not until I caught the comment he made to the girls - keep their votes, he’ll be the one to vote out Eric, and if there’s another ‘hinky’ vote, they’ll know the real culprit was Dick and it’s all been a total setup. WELL THEN. That, my friends, takes moxie.

Eric held court with Daniele, in her HOH room, and with each member of the houseguests, barring Amber and Dick of course. In his talk with Daniele and Jessica, he was very real, and it killed me to see him so worried about mending his friendships before he left the house. The more support he felt from them on a friendship level, the more he was able to pull himself together, and start thinking about the game once more. He even relieved Jameka of her promise to keep him, and said to do what she felt was right.
Dustin finally pulled Amber aside late last night to talk to her about using her head instead of her heart. If they want any chance of taking out the Dastardly Donados, they need the numbers in their favor and that can only happen if they keep Eric. Ahhhh! Thank you Dustin for keeping my little spark of hope alive! Dustin, Jameka, and Jessica all spoke to Amber to let her know this is indeed the best route for them to go. They need someone who can fight for HOH this week, and in following weeks. Amber, though upset (like when is she ever NOT upset?) agrees, and it looks like America’s player is saved! WAHHOOOO!
There are still several hours to the live show, though, and we all know that Amber’s completely unstable and that Dustin needs to stay in her ear all day so that she doesn’t flip again. Dick threatened Eric, said that if he caught him campaigning to stay he’d make his last house miserable, which is total BS. Everyone has the right to speak to whomever they want, especially when on the block. Dick and Daniele are confident they’re right, and that they’ve got a fool proof plan, even though they’re already planning on going against their deal with Dustin if they get HOH again - good thing Dustin didn’t believe their talks of safety anyway!
Hang on folks, it’s bound to be a bumpy ride today! Just goes to show why we adore this show!
Also: CBS is rumored that they’ll address Amber’s anti-Jew tirade couple days ago on tonight’s show. Rumor mills are in an uproar, with many crying for her eviction because of it. I don’t think they’ll evict her, though that would be sweet. I do think it will be brought up either on the show or afterwards and we’ll see Amber in full on basketcase mode. I just hope it’s AFTER the vote. Heh.
I’ll be back tonight with my Type/Time Delay Live Blog!
