Afternoon in the BB house…
…some random happenings:
Dan found a praying Mantis by the pool, observed it for a while, which upset Keesha because it almost baked in the sun/exhausted itself to death/ poor little BUG. And Jerry had sprayed down the outside table and forgot to wash it off. Tsk. Tsk. Is there no end to Keesha’s wrath? (Hahah!)
Dan tells Keesha that he’ll give the bug CPR if needed, and let it recover in her bed. She says they belong outside, and relents to add she doesn’t think he did it on purpose. The bug lived.. at least for a while. We’ve not seen in since…
But that’s nothing on the things the nicest little girl in the house, the one with the biggest heart, the one who’s done nothing wrong nor said anything bad to ANYONE has been spewing through the morning, both before and after the POV ceremony.
After the cut, of course!
April warned Ollie that her inner bitch would come out, and predictably her targets so far have been Jerry and Keesha. Jerry for daring to go outside by the pool, because he never does that, ever!
April: He’s out there now being pool boy - Jerry’s in the pool. It’s so obvious, it’s pathetic. He’s never done that once in all the time we’ve been here.
Ollie: I don’t wanna be that guy.
April: What? That shoves himself up someone else’s ass? I almost wanna campaign for Jerry to stay here. I hope he tortures them.
(Incorrect - he spends a lot of time outside every single day. And he wasn’t IN the pool, he was wandering around like usual. She doesn’t notice until now because she’s usually under the covers with Ollie…)
They then go on to say that Jerry certainly isn’t weak now, because he’s helping Dan try and save the praying mantis. Ollie says he’s gonna get on the same food comp team as Jerry and throw it, maybe throw it for the whole house. April laughs and says she should have done that, she hasn’t had an appetite on the block anyway. Then it’s bash on Keesha time. For the same things as usual - being 30 and working at Hooters still (She’s got a good job, she makes money, she pays her own way. Why is this a bad thing?) - to which ollie responds that he “hates that ‘ho.” April also told Michelle she strongly suggests keeping the alcohol away from Keesha because she’s a drunk. This from the girl who has to have a breathalyzer in her car in order to drive due to a DUI.
It’s exhausting to listen too, and I fear it’ll only get worse as the week goes on. In other news, Renny is still on the Michelle/Memphis train, though that has next to nothing to do with anything until the power changes hands on Thursday. She pulled Dan up to the HOH, and tells Dan that Michelle is pushing it. She questions him about Memphis/Jerry and if they ahve a deal, and he says again that there’s no way. They can’t stand each other. hey discuss trust in Memphis and how far it goes, and Dan plays it off well - trust him in a group setting, when there’s a mutually beneficial target, but after that, who knows? She starts to talk about who Memphis would take to final two.
Which leads the convo back to Michelle, who never says anything about Memphis, but is constantly digging at everyone else. Michelle’s furious that Dan won’t tell her the specifics on the deal with the money for POV. He won’t tell her who, and she’s pissed about it. SHe’s asked him, and Renny, and anyone else who’ll stand still for two seconds, not that it really matters at all. That’s what that prize was for - to barter. Everyone else agrees that if they had it, they’d try it too. Renny ends the conversation by telling Dan she trusts him more then Memphis, and that’s all she wanted to tell him.
Poor Renny. The HOH Paranoia has set in.
Then April and Ollie go to play Checkers, and I have to change the feed. Is checkers a lost art? Do people really not know how to play it? I mean.. SIDEWAYS? You can move any direction and also SIDEWAYS? and hello each side on different colors? It was so awful I had to turn it off. Not knowing how to play chess I understand. That’s complicated. But CHECKERS? My kids played that since they were three years old!
Now they’re sharing ’secrets’. I still can’t watch.
— Everyone’s back to idol chitchat. I expect it to last for a while now, which is good because I’m off to register my middle child for high school. I’m entirely too young to have two kids in high school, but they don’t seem to care. They still have to go. Harumph.—
