Big Brother 10

A Quicky Interview with BB10’s Michelle Costa!

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Hey BBCrazies! I had the chance to email briefly with BB10 Michelle Costa, and ask her a couple questions about the season, and of course - her boy Jessie!

As with all our interviews and articles here at Big Brother Craze, they are (c)451Press and BigBrotherCraze, thus copying and pasting this entry is NOT PERMITTED - you may link directly to this entry wherever you like. Here’s the direct link: http://bigbrothercraze.com/a-quicky-interview-with-bb10s-michelle-costa

Without further ado - here’s the one and only Portuguese Princess from Providence!

1. Let’s start with the obvious - You guys were so close in the BB10 house: Do you and Jessie still hang out/ keep in touch, and how happy were you to hear he’d been let back in the house?
I did stay in touch with Jessie till about 3 weeks ago when I tried to call and his phone was shut off (I thought to myself …strange). When the rumors started I was happy but its rumors. There were also rumors I was going in so when it was confirmed I was so happy Team Jessie all the way!!!!!

2. Are you watching the feeds? What do you think of Jessie’s Game this time around?
I do have the feeds but haven’t been able to watch them my computer is all messed up working on it… ughhhh. I think his game is better this year but last year he had no choice - America Did. I think if he stays clear and lets the house fight each other he can position himself to win.

3. What do you think of the other (current) houseguests (Braden Laura Jordan Chima Ronnie Michele Casey Lydia Kevin Russell Natalie Jefff) and the High School Clique twist itself?
I like Lydia, Kevin, Jeff, Casey and obviously Jessie.
Ronnie reminds me of Dan very sneaky watch for him.
I don’t care for Laura, Jordan, Michele. Natalie but as long as she helps out Jessie I’m okay with her
I think Chima is A Drama Queen
And watch out for Russell
Braden he’s out
The twist with the cliques made automatic Drama for the house if it wasn’t the house would be very quiet. The teams are going to be at each other’s necks.

4. Videos and such have surfaced in the recent week, as well as a brief conversation on the feeds suggesting that Casey and Jessie know each other from before - they’ve kept it from the houseguests, obviously, and CBS hasn’t mentioned it at all (nor do I think they ever will address the issue.) IF you were in the house and discovered two houseguests knew each other from outside the house, how would you feel? Do you think CBS should address this in some way, and if so, how?
I just heard about the Jessie Casey thing. You never know in that house who knows each other. That’s the BB house.

5. Alrighty - how about the elephant in the room: Chima’s speech Thursday night. What did you think of it, and CBS’s choice to edit it, as well as how they edited the fight itself, taking out all of Braden’s racial slurs to begin with?
I am upset that they blocked out the words it was said and if they are going to show the fight they should show it all so we can understand what was going on . I knew what was said from the feeds and people telling me. The Chima speech was classic woooooooooowwwwwwww once again they should have allowed all the audio to be heard!!!!!

unotrad-photoshoot-ooooo6. I know April was there for the premiere - and good gossip you want to share, about your season, past houseguests? (Like - April and Ollie - together/broken up? Other juicy tidbits?) Do you keep in touch with the rest of your BB10 crew?
I actually talk to many BB HG. I had a blast in Oregon meeting a lot of the HG and have stayed in contact with all of them. I stay in contact with a lot of The Bb10 crew as well. As for April and Ollie they are broken up for a while.

7. Sticking with the BB10 season for a moment - what do you miss most about the house? What lessons did you take away from your time in the Big Brother House, and would you do it again if you had the chance?
It’s weird watching people sleep in my bed eat my food and just run around MY house. I miss it a lot. I excited and hopeful that next year will be AllStars and I want is to go back to MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

8. And let’s get back to this season now. If you could have a 5 minute uncensored conversation with Jessie right now - what would you say to him?
I could give him the best advise in the world but in that house every second matters and changes the game So I would tell him to keep doing what he is doing. Be careful of some people in his Alliance and he needs to connect with Jeff better on the low down.

9. And to finish us off here - what’s new with you, how are things back in Rhode Island? Any projects or appearances you want to plug - here’s the spot!
Things in Rhode Island are great. I am so busy doing many events and appearances. I am doing a lot of Charity events as well. I am doing a Radio Show Called Manic Mondays with Michelle on The Rad Reality Show on Blog Talk Radio. 10pm EST. I chat about Big Brother and what my thoughts are.

Thanks to all my Family, Friends and Fans. Big Brother Fans rock!!!!! Thanks for all the Support! Lots of love and vote for me for ALL Stars!
Michelle

The locked Room = Steel! (Updated!)

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

This just in! Associated Press just posted an article on Google, about the houseguests. Much of it are things we know already - but here’s the scoop on that Locked Room:

This season, the California-themed “Big Brother” dwelling will go green with several eco-friendly touches including organic soap in the bathroom, energy-producing exercise bikes in the gym and composting bins in the backyard. Executive producer Allison Grodner teased that one of the three bedrooms, a jungle-themed enclave, will feature a nasty surprise.

“It is a room that will test their resolve,” Grodner said during a recent tour of the newest “Big Brother” house. “I will go out on a limb and say that it is the worst room to sleep in any `Big Brother.’ After 11 seasons, that’s saying a lot. This is a special treat for the houseguests. Each week, one group of houseguests will end up in this room.”

And you all thought the Pool Room would be bad!

babybotUPDATE! Julie Chen (AND OMG BABYBOT BABYBUMP!) has her house tour up with the first glimpse of the “jungle room” which doesn’t look very jungle-y, but DOES look uncomfortable as hell, AND the Right hand shower has NO HOT WATER.

If your banished to the locked room, you’re also banished to using only the cold shower! BRRR!

CHECK IT OUT!

And yay! someone put it up on youtube!

steelroom

Confirmation - WLBB has just gotten off the phone with Allison - NOT jungle Themed, but as Julie shows it - beds of steel, etc. Ouch!

UPDATE: Here’s the interview with WLBB that they just finished!

.

The highlights:
Four groups of three
Not like season 9 soulmates where BB forced them together
This is still an individual game
Big Brother created a system where you want to be in the ‘in-crowd’
Each player wants the perks of being in the in-crowd
If one member of a clique wins Head of Household, other members of that clique cannot be nominated
Allison did not say a room had a ‘jungle theme’
Third bedroom is ‘one of the worst rooms in Big Brother history’
Instead of traditional Food Competitions, there are now ‘Have and Have Not’ competitions
Losers of the Have and Have Not competition are subject to worst living conditions in BB history
Have Nots subject to a cold room, cold showers, food restrictions, and bright lights that never turn off
No details regarding the 13th Mysterious Houseguest will be released until July 9th
Starting second week, viewers will decide the food restriction
The Have Nots will get slop in addition to America’s food restriction
The exercise bikes and lightbulbs might come into play later this summer

What are they up to now?

Friday, November 28th, 2008

Hey ya’ll! I thought I’d pop in, and before I do another BBi Update, see if we can’t figure out what some Big Brotehr folks are up to. After all, it’s Thanksgiving, I am nearing a food coma, and wandering around the internets is about as energetic as I’m gonna get.

Yes, I know that’s what I do all day, every day. Hush, you.

So - Renny has taken ebay by storm - and is selling everything but the kitchen sink! Props, hats, autographs - and a ‘fly to your house, pop out of a box in a bow and have a pajama party’ package! No, I’m not kidding. Check it out! Way to work your fame, girl!

Alex (BB9) is still hoping to be on BB again, or another reality show, and appreciates the support he still feels from all his fans, while Steven, Dan, Memphis and Brian are headed to Vegas this weekend - can’t wait to see pictures of THAT group out and about!

Crazy James is not only living it up in Paris still - but has gotten engaged! On his birthday even! AND he has a REAL JOB. Inorite?!

Memphis was able to get the truck he’s always wanted - a 1970 box bronco, and will be featured in the January issue of Bronco Driver Magazine. Nice! And if you send him a self addressed envelope with a picture and stamp, he’ll autograph it and send it right back to ya!

Nick and Jen (BB8) are still together, in the oddest coupling to have made it out of BB yet - or close to it anyway, as it seems that Ollie and April are still together as well. Word on the street is that they’re living together now. April’s Myspace is still set to private, and they have lain pretty low since the end of the show. We do know, however, that April will be playing for the Lingerie Football League.

Keesha just got back to LA after a long visit home with friends and family in Ohio - with a side trip to visit Dan the Man. She and her friends even watched him teach a class! She’s doing some traveling for Hooters promotion, but isn’t back to work just yet.

Dan, as mentioned above is back to teaching - his students are keeping him on his toes, and he’s happy to be back doing what he loves. He’ll also be doing some motivational speaking in the new year, which is pretty exciting!

And while I was posting this - Last, but CERTAINLY not least - the one and only Evel Dick posted a myspace blog. He has a new show being shopped around. He mentioned filming a pilot, but the details are that it’s like Kitchen Nightmares, though for clubs and bars, with Evel Dick the night club’s answer to Gordon Ramsey. It’s called EvelDick Behind Bars, and they’ve a bunch of interviews with networks in the works. Awesome!

There ya go - there’s what some of our favorites (and not so favorites) are up too! Here’s hoping your Thanksgiving was fantastic!

Renegade Interview!

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

No, not with me, unfortunately, but with Real Superpass, which is almost as good! It’s on RIGHT NOW, so hit up feed four, and enjoy! I’ll update this post later with youtubes when someone gets them up and running. They are as funny as ever - LOVE THEM!

Here’s some screenshots - and note the new shirts! You can get your own Renegade Wear at letsdothislikejudas.com!

Best. Final. Two. Ever.

Lessa survives Week One!

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

Though it wasn’t for lack of trying on at least one front!

Before we get to that though, I wanted to let you all know that The Renegades, our boys Dan and Memphis - will be in Seattle on Wednesday, for a Real One interview! For those that still have the feeds, that means that Wednesday at 6pm PST, on Feed Four, they’ll be answering questions from the Superpass chat rooms. They will also be giving away 10 free-for-a-year Super Pass subscriptions at some point during the hour - so be sure to tune in for that!

For those that don’t have the feeds any longer, I’ll be sure to post it up here just as I did Keesha/Chelsia. I know. I’m such a rebel. *g*

Now - for the BBI Update!

Yes - despite the best efforts of Careyan, I remain in the Big Brother Interactive ‘house’ and intend to stay that way. For her efforts, Careyan was evicted unanimously by a 10-0 vote, with our cheers following her out the door. The extent of her last minute attempt to “expose” me for “lying” about who I am (….yeah. I know, right?) was a dismal failure, and when coupled with her slams against Danny and the BBi game itself, it resulted in her being evicted FIVE HOURS EARLY.

All together now - Hit the road, Jack, and don’t ya come back no more no more no more no MORE!

(Lessa! Please stop singing!)

When it came to the HOH competition I thought I was prepared, I’d studied everything I could possibly think of… and then I over-thought the question. I had part two, Renny, within seconds. It was the ‘riddle’ that got me, because I dug TOO deep, instead of seeing the obvious. Duh. If I had had both answers right the first time, I might have won, but I didn’t.

So, congrats to Tequila for winning HOH! Let the new week begin!

Tomorrow there’s a “Food” competition, which Danny promises will shake things up even more, so be sure you hit up the site, and the forums for all the latest drama and excitement! And if you want more of an insiders view - drop me a note with your email with the contact form, and once you clear Danny’s ip/email check, I’ll get you added right away.

One week down, 9 to go!

Keesha and Chelsia on Real Player!

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

Did you miss the interview? That’s ok - I gotcha covered. Or rather, some nice fella who put them up on youtube does. *L* They’re all below for your viewing pleasure.

A few of you have asked how Big Brother Interactive is going - and well, you should certainly check it out to ‘watch’ the feeds. There was something of a blowup this morning, and I am somewhat involved, though not with the blowup directly. And no, mama, I didn’t start it! I’m innocent, I swear!

The vote deadline for the first HOH has been moved up to tonight, since there has been so much pre-drama, and DannyChen likes to keep us on our toes. Who will be HOH? I don’t know - it seems to be between two people, and you all know what they say about a house divided…

So check it out at Big Brother Interactive, and cross your fingers that Lessa survives the week. I may have to become BBIs POV Queen. Just sayin’….

And now - Keehsa and Chelsia’s RP interview. Enjoy!

The rest are after the cut!

So, about that Camaro…

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Turns out that Big Brother didn’t even OWN Memphis’ car! According to TMZ, the ‘69 Camaro that Memphis won on the first episode wasn’t even theirs to give away, someone else holds the title and they returned the car immediately to that someone after the contest. Memphis, of course, didn’t find any of this out until Tuesday - and hey, to top it all off? They repainted the car too!

So first the report said that the producers were scrambling to purchase the car, who reportedly wanted $24k for it. Then, earlier today, Big Brother set up a test drive for the car to see if Memphis wanted it for sure before they laid out the cash just to have him turn around and sell it later.

What did Memphis decide? It was a gas-guzzler and just wasn’t for him, so he settled for cash from CBS and Big Brother instead. How much cash? No one’s saying, just yet, but that’s more dough for the Trip to Vegas and upcoming Renegade Wear, hm?

The backyard interviews with Evel Dick are popping up on Real - be sure to check them out! As soon as I find them on youtube, I’ll put them up here too. Check out the comments in the post below with the interviews - Michigan Man, Billy and Samantha have some cool tidbits from the variety of interviews they’ve read too!

The first pictures are in!

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

I’m gonna put them behind the cut, as the west coast is still watching - I’ll fix that after the show (and after Mama says it’s ok, she’s seen it. *L* Mama says go ahead - she’s read the recap! and refresh for the new banner!)

So - the first pictures - after the cut!

Here’s Monica!

(and for those idiots who were all “OH! he just shoved her aside!” He did not. She rushed him, hugged him, held his hand until they stepped onto the main floor, then backed away to her seat so that he others could get to him. Pretty damn classy if you ask me especially as she hadn’t seen him for 3 freaking months! So get OVER yourselves already and quit looking for reasons to hate Our Man Dan! Sheesh.)

PS - LOVE THE RENEGADE BANDANAS on the family members!

CBS2, as always, is the first to get an article up! Here it is, and their video interviews tend to come in late tonight/early tomorrow. I”ll post them when I can!

More pictures after the cut!

BB10 Finale Live Recapping!

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

-:40 Wow. WOW WOW WOW. It’s almost time, it’s almost here. Can you believe it? It’s time to set up the post for our final recap of the season, where I’ll give my fingers their last uber quick workout before they get to rest until BB11. It’s bitter sweet, this final show! But hey, our Renegades are in it to win it, and I’m happy with whomever comes out on top (GO TEAM DAN!)

If you want to watch along, hit up this link right here. It’s almost time! WHOOO!

:00 71 days ago, 13 strangers moved in - tonight, 2 are left standing. Who will be crowned the winner of big brother 10? Dan or Memphis? The live final starts now!

Julie is stunning as usual in yet another LBD (Kevin, that’s Little Black Dress. *Grin*), as we go into the “previously on bb10!” for the last time this season… and of course it’s longer then usual, hitting up all the high points of Dan and Memphis, the Renegades, travel to the final two. Now after a summer of epic battles, outrageous behavior, heartache and confrontation… 11 houseguests have departed and tonight 7 return to make the difficult decision… dan or memphis? find out - RIGHT NOW!

:06 Hi Julie! Since joining forces in week 4, the Renegades have successfully made it to the end, but tonight they must face off to see who will win. Will it be Dan, or Memphis. That decision is up to the jury who will cast their votes live. But first, the jurors had no idea who member would be 7, and it turned heated when they realized they had all been played.

Time for the round table, and Jerry’s arrivial. Libra asks who it is, Keesha wants Memphis to come in because he’s arrogant, Ollie says dan disrepected him, michelle and got everyone involved which was uncalled for. Libra says if Jerry would, thank you - he wasn’t the gingerly old man… Renny doesn’t want to spend one more night with that old man, they agree they floated him, it was operation hide from Jerry. And in he comes - and he gets a cool reception… no hand shakes, nothing, and Michelle says the two evil people are in there.

Jerry tells them Dan won and evicted him, Michelle says they have an alliance, Jerry agrees and says everyone was played. Keesha says she brought Memphis a long way, and Jerry points out together, they couldn’t handle them. Keesha says that Jerry should have put him up, and Jerry points out he had an agreement, and Renny interrupts him, and she won’t let him talk, and Jerry points out Memphis took him off the block, Renny calls him a chauvinist pig. Jerry says there’s no easy choice for them, who’s the worse of two evils.

REnny calls Memphis cunning, conniving, insensitive and Keesha says he made it to the end by being cold hearted, and Dan’s best move was getting everyone to like him. Michelle says that she would have respected his game if he had put her up for a reason and didn’t try to put everyone at risk and April calls him heartless because of that. REnny says he’s immature, and Ollie wants to know if that condones it. Libra points out BB isn’t best friends, outside lying cheating putting your mother in front of the buss.. it’s a game. Ollie says that it’s part of the game he tips his hat to Dan for his game. Who played it well, who made the best decisions he made.

Michelle tells Jerry that she went on the trip, and Jerry didn’t know it, and Michelle says that it was weird, and they say it was to get a vote, Michelle says she got an earful. Keesha says that Dan worked a lot harder, played a better game, Memphis laid back. Jerry says Memphis let Dan to do all the dirty work, but Memphis was just as responsible. He showed strength and manuevering to get Dan and others to do his work. Keesha says she did all the dirty work then he cut her loose. April says good for him, he played people and not competitions, you don’t have to win HOH, he played a stronger game. Renny says you don’t play Monopoly, you don’t give them the win because they ask for it. Michelle says she has a tough decision, Jerry asks if they’re all that gullible, and Libra says apparently so - they’re all sitting there!

Coming up - the Jury questions!

:15 Commercial!

The Final Day…

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Wow. Today is the last day of BB10. It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? 71 days ago the houseguests entered the house. 67 days ago we flipped on the feeds for the first time, and began our complete hamster watching experience with so many conversations it was hard to keep track of…

…remember when we were GLAD some of them went to bed so that we could listen to the rest of them? Now, we watch our boys, our Renegades, sleep all snug in their beds, and wonder when BB is going to wake them so that they can clean their house for the final time this season. And pack - boy do those guys need to pack! The house is a disaster! *L*

So today, while I nap (because what’s a Tuesday without a nap? AWFUL, that’s what!), think back over the season, drop me a comment and let me know some of your favorite moments in the house this year, or even your least favorite moment. What stands out? What will you take away from Big Brother 10, as we watch them leave it all behind and declare a winner?

One thing that will stand out to me as being unique and new and wonderful this season actually has nothing to do with the houseguests and BB house itself - it’s all of YOU! This has been the biggest year for Big Brother Craze, and you all made it possible! We’ve broken records, we have The Number ONE visited page on the entire 451 Press Network for August, and it’s all been because of you (and the help of Carolyn at the Dish who linked us often!) putting us on the Big Brother Map.

So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and know that we’re not done here. I’m hoping for BBC interviews, and I’ll post the post finale official interviews, as we watch our hamsters resume their normal lives. So keep checking back, I’ll still be here and I look forward to sharing the Big Brother experience with you all once more for Big Brother 11 - whenever that might be.

And if you miss me too much? Be sure to click my name under the ‘about’ section and check out all the other writing I do too. We’ll have fun, I promise!

And don’t worry - I’ll be back in plenty of time to start recapping the live show as it happens, as always. Wouldn’t miss it for the world!
