Thursday, July 24th, 2008

The nomination ceremony is just completed, and if everything goes according to the last people who had Keesha’s ear, then the only ones surprised will be the ones nominated. The fish went to Trivia about 6:20 BB Time, signaling that the ceremony has begun.

After the pretty, pretty spoiler button - hit the cut and I’ll let ya in on any aftermath fireworks!

There’s a lot of gaming going on - it’s hard to keep track of it all! It all has to do with the nominations, of course, since those will happen later this afternoon. It’s been non-stop visiting of Keesha all morning - check after the cut for the ins and outs of things going on…

Food Comp… Spoilers.

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

Good morning, hamster watchers! I’m a bit late getting up and moving today (that darned snooze button) and then had to dash out to take the youngest for her swimming lessons while the Food Comp was going on. And on and on and on and on. They actually got a pretty early start on it, but as of Noon BB time, the feeds are still on fishies. I’ll up date this post with the info as soon as I return and/or it’s available!

Stay tuned!

Keesha as HOH!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

So what are we in store for this week with Keesha in the HOH position? I have NO idea. I’d like to think she has the cajones to make a big move and gun for Libra, but I’m not sure she does. It’s almost a positive she’ll put Angie up (BOO HISS!), but that other spot is still a giant question mark. I would LOVE for her to make a big move, and everyone boot Libra.

Shortly after the feeds came back, Libra outright asked her “Don’t put me up” and Keesha said “of course not..” but then moments later was complaining to April about Libra tailing her around like a puppy dog - she stops to fast and Libra is right up her… She knows she’d have the support of her house if she went after Libra, so here’s hoping she takes that into consideration.

Time will tell what kind of move Keesha is willing to make. Let’s hope it’s a big one!

In other news, April was upset, again, at the questions she got during the live show. Seriously, woman? If you are THAT WORRIED about the way we perceive you for your ’showmance’ and the way you invite people to touch your boobs… then quit sleeping with Ollie on camera, and stop inviting people to test run your cleavage! Seriously, this is NOT rocket science!

She was even mad at Ollie’s question - saying that they were TOTALLY saying she’s an awful person because she drinks and swears and Ollie doesn’t. Um, obsess much, chica?

Keesha is in the DR right now, so I’m anticipating an HOH reveal within an hour or so. tay tuned!

Live Show recappin!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

-:25 Almost live show time! Setting up the post. Don’t forget to scroll down a bit and catch the Evel Dick Live show right now!

:00 Previously on big brother.. it’s Recap time! WHOO! Here we go, kids!

:02 Hi Julie! Stunning in orange, this evening I’s day 16 inside the house, and the ghost of Brian continues to linger. Jessie wasted no time flexing as HOH to target Brian’s friends. now Dan and Steven find themselves on the chopping block.

But first - Dan’s strategy is to lay low, but even the quietest mouse cannot escape the eyes of the cat. We flash back to the end of the POV meeting. Dan says that when Michelle didn’t use it, he was elated, he feels the plan to make people think he’s weak is working. Steven tells us that it sucks being against Dan because their friends and he doesn’t want to stab him in the back. Keesha mourns the fact that she’s going to have to be against Steven. Libra says that they’re banded together to get rid of the floaters.

Steven tells Dan about how he tried to get Libra out instead, and that it had failed and it sucks. They hate to have to work against each other.

Libra, Keesha, Steven, April and Ollie are in the spa room, and Steven says he understands if he has to go, and pleads his case. They all say they have nothing against him personally, and he feels he’s getting a raw deal. Steven says he feels like he’s under the cloud of Brian, and doesn’t understand why he’s going home over Dan, who actually voted for Brian to stay. Steven says that he may be a better competitor which makes him a better ally. He just wants a chance to be on their side.

He offers himself to them, without saying anything to the rest of the house - but no one takes him up on it. He leaves, and the conversation continues. Ollie points out they like him, and want him around, and Michelle enters the conversation, and leaves again. They shut the door, and they point out Michelle and Jessie are together, and Angie and Memphis are together, so they all know who’s with who and it’s divided. They’re going to pick them off one by one. Keesha points out Dan will go after them too. April says it’s time to grab a floater and strengthen their four.

:09 Michelle heads upstairs to talk to Jessie, and Dan runs up behind them. Keesha is watching as he goes up there. Dan says if there is something that he needs to know to calm the storm, let him know. Michelle says that he has her word that he’s safe with her. Dan says he’s trusting them and won’t campaign actively because they say he’s safe.

April and Libra are playing pool and Angie tells Memphis that it makes her skin crawl to have to be nice to them. She says she hasn’t yelled at anyone, and Memphis says to watch putting up red flags, because then they’ll have the upper hand. Angie says Dan’s a good guy, and the closer they keep him to them the better it’ll be. Memphis says it won’t be an issue.

In the Peace room, Libra tells Keesha that these people are crazy. Libra says she doesn’t like Ange, and April joins in the Angie bash-fest, calling her conniving. Libra says when it gets down to eight, it’s a free for all. Keesha says that Dan will throw the first stone, and they have to get him out. Keesha tells us that voting to keep Steven would be throwing the first stone against the other alliance.

Coming up - how comes the battle between Jessie and renny affected their families? And who will be going home tonight? Stay tuned!

Evel Dick - Live!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Don’t forget, it is starting in just a few minutes! Evel Dick’s live broadcast will begin at 4pm BB Time, which is in just a few minutes. Even better, you can watch it right here - this time. After the first two, you’ll need superpass, but this will give you a taste of the good stuff!

(player removed after show)

Enjoy! And I’ll be here at showtime with the live show recap in the next post. Currently in the house, it’s been a typical day - not a lot of scrambling for votes, just cleaning and getting ready and the like. But you know what they say - expect the unexpected!

Julie and the Houseguests on Craig Ferguson!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Here’s Julie’s segment on the Late late show with Craig Ferguson - with the house guests too! It’s a cute clip, and I think those women need to lay off Jerry for his comments - he’s not so bad. They just looking for something to bitch about, an excuse to be mean.

And also - April, honey? if you are so embarrassed that your daddy is watching everyone fondle your boobs? STOP INVITING PEOPLE TO FEEL YOU UP. Seriously.

and also, how cute is Craig Ferguson when he says ‘boobies’?! Srsly. He’s too adorable. I wanna shrink him down and carry him around in my purse. Just sayin.

Tuesday Night Recap!

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

-:10 scooting in here just in time for the show. Whew! Be sure to tune into Craig Furgeson tonight, as the surprise was that they got to appear via camera with Julie Chen. Apparently some of them (april) aren’t too happy about being called out for the old man boob grab, but whatever. She shouldn’t invite the world to touch them, hm? Anyway, showtime in 10 - it’s POV night, and all the extra drama they can pack into it. Stay tuned!

:00 Previously on Big Brother…. It’s recap time! Who will win the power of veto, and will it save Steven or Dan? And tonight an explosion rocks the house as the two oldest houseguests go on the offensive! It all happens now on BB10!

:02 We start off with a recap of the end of the Nomination ceremony as Dan and Steve were put on the block, and Jessie’s telling they showed their cards too soon, and Steven was ‘disrespectful’ because he didn’t go up to the HOH room. Meeting adjourned. Dan’s smilng, Steven isn’t. Dan says his alliance has imploded and he’s searching through the rubble. Steven says that his feelings were hurt, the disrespect reasoning was BS. Libra says that Steven going is good for her. Jessie says that he’s won every competition he’s been in and still doesn’t have a target on his back, makes him happy. Dan and Jessie go to HOH to talk, and Jessie says that Dan’s a straight up dude, and he’s not the target, how much they can help each other is up in the air. Dan says his foot is in the door, if he can get a deal, he’s sitting pretty.

Jessie tells dan he’d rather have a deal with Dan and Jessie agrees. Worst case scenario is for Steven to win the Veto.

Steven is downstairs reading the Bible, and Angie goes in to talk to him. He says he’s ok, he’s just numb, and relaxing. He says if they stay in power, Dan, Steven, Angie will be next. Angie tells us that she needs to distance herself from all things that were ‘Brian’.

Michelle is doing a pedicure on Jessie and they talk about their expectations of what was gonna happen, and Michelle says she wanted to have a showmance. She tells us he’s her best friend, and she relates to guys a lot better. Heh.

:08 Memphis tells us there are 8 people that are controling the house, but those 8 people will turn on each other. He and Jessie need to keep things on the downlow, and the core alliance is with them with michelle and Angie - team BA - team Badass. Memphis talks to Angie and brings her up to speed, says they’re mentally strong, and we see where their alliance began.

Memphis says he chose Angie because she’s focused and strong mentally and physicaly, and they need Michelle because she’s smart.

:10 Cue Sappy Music, it’s time for personal stories, as Steven talks to Renny about Hurricane Katrina. He tells us that it’s the only thing they have in common, as Renny says the people are what’s important in her life, she learned that through the suffering. Steven says the conversation changed how he feels about her, and they share a bond.

Keesha tells Steven that he can’t leave. He asks her what she’ll do if she wins pov, and she says she might have to do that. She tells us she wants to play in the POV and save Steven. He’s her favorite.

:12 Time to pick players for the Veto Competition - everyones in bed, and the lights were off, but they get up to pick the players, early early. Jessie picks Michelle, Dan picks houseguests choice, and selects Libra - he tells us it means he’s not disrupting the house if she wins, and Steven picks Keesha like he wanted too. Jessie chooses Jerry as the host for the competition. He tells us that made him excited, he’d make a good tv host if his voice ever cleared up. hahah!

:14 Keesha tells the other girls that she’d love for Steven to stay, because he’s gone through so much and she feels close to him. April, Libra and Michelle are wondering if they can trust her now. Michelle calls her an idiot.

Upstairs, Michelle talks with Memphis and Jessie and tells them that she wants Steven to stay. Michelle tells us that Steven is a better competitor then Dan. Michelle thinks she has her bases covered and wants to get her out soon as well.

Good afternoon, hamster watchers!

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Today’s been a lazy day for the houseguests so far, quiet and understated, until Jessie popped out with the HOH camera early… Like before noon early! Of course, CBS still hasn’t put up Jerry’s HOH pictures and blog, so who knows if we’ll ever see any of the pictures or read what Jerry had to say.

The day continued in it’s lazy ways, until just a few minutes ago, when Jessie called everyone to the living room for an announcement. Or rather - sent Michelle to gather everyone. Heh. They cut to fishes, natch, but the houseguests are very excited and discussing the possibilities of what the message meant. They were told to be ready for a surprise at 5pm, and “dress to impress”. Ollie was the first to remind them that not all surprises are good. Heh.

There will be an outdoor lockdown in an hour - briefly - then the ’surprise’ at 5pm BB time. What do you think it is? Does it have something to do with the Alien sightings? Is someone coming in to remove the stick from Libra’s b… Ahem. They all hope for something from family, or a celebrity guest, or maybe 12 houseguests that are other reality stars and they have to pair up with them, or Evel Dick is coming back into the house, or Aballer, or… or… or… or… or…

Steven’s all kinds of excited - that THIS is the TWIST because there is ALWAYS a twist….

We shall see, Brian. We shall see….

As an aside - when Steven gets to be on Housecalls with Dick and Gretchen it aughta be interesting, as he’s now discussing ED’s tactics when he was in the house. Hahaha.

Apparently we don’t even get to watch them while on lockdown - we’ve been on Fish Cam for a while now… with 1.5 hours before the ’surprise’.

And I’m out of here for a while - I should be back before the east coast show tonight, but that’s not a guarantee. If not, I’ll catch it my time and post the recap then. For those who can’t wait - check out the spoiler posts and you’ll know what happened, if not the particulars. Be good, kids! *dashes*

ETA: The surprise was that they were on Colin Ferguson via camera with Julie Chen according to what they all are saying. April is a little upset that everyone saw the old man boob grab, and they say she handled the questions well, and Julie stood up for her too. Will that be on tonight? Anyone?

Jessie: If we make it on Letterman, THEN we’re official. Ha!

The Pranksters are back!

Monday, July 21st, 2008

Seems to be a reason we keep going to bubbles tonight! The houseguests are seeing Aliens! It’s ye old mask behind the mirror trick. Jessi says he saw an alien with a big head, small body, and April has seen one as well.

Just pranks - or will we actually get to SEE this happen this time on the show? Hey! Evel Dick! Ask those guinea pigs if they’re up to their old tricks again when you interview them for your show!

Gamewise, it’s been a little slow today, though Angie and Memphis had a nice long chat about what would happen if Angie won the next HOH, what she would have to do to according to the house. She doesn’t want it though, and will give it to Memphis or Michelle if it she has a choice, so she doesn’t have too until week 4 or 5.

Libra is NOT handling slop well and was flipping off the cameras earlier from her bed, where she’s been all day. They were told they don’t get to eat until after the live show, and now she’s all kinds of irritated about it. She’s done nothing but lay in bed and bitch all day. April is feeling the effects too, and poor Memphis is missing the beer and wine that the non-slop houseguests are enjoying currently. Heh. Poor Memphis!

We had hairstyling going on today, as Michelle trimmed up Jerry, Renny took care of Keesha, and April dyed her roots. There were also abs class, walking, weights, and a lot of laughter. No big blowups, but I have a feeling Libra’s about to go off on anyone who moves wrong - and to Libra, that’d be EVERYONE. The only question is who she’s going to go after first…

More as it occurs…

By the way - you want screen caos? we got screen caps! Check it out here!

Slip n slide!

Monday, July 21st, 2008

Ah, in the grand ole tradition of bored houseguests, Big Brother provided them with the requested role of trashbags and tape so that they could make a slip and slide! Angie, Steve, Memphis, Ollie and Dan put it together, added laundry soap and water on the slide, soaped up their chest and are slippin and sliding all over. This group has SO. Much. FUN. Love it!

Angie proved her top would stay on, BB provided swim caps for those that wanted them and now Michelle is getting ready for her first run. Too much fun! Check it out in all the screencapping glory…

Around the house…

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

So, you think I was kidding about Jessie’s use of “point being”? ReporterX, recorder for the Dish Chicks, has made a compilation of those, and his ‘dadadadada’s too! Check it out!

At least when the houseguests ask him for some personal training with the weights and such, he’s encouraging, and teaches and has the makings of a good personal trainer - something I wasn’t sure he’d be. But he knows his stuff, and he’s a good communicator. I’d pay him. If you know, he’d include “eating bags of Doritos” into the training. *g*

And yes, last night, there were some shenagains under the covers for our Preacher’s Boy and the Barbie Bitch. It happened after I went to bed and there was considerably more then ‘cuddling’ going on. Today they’re a little less publically touchy feely, but both are firmly on the Denial Train. But folks know, and have been passing it around - after all, Dan walked right by and saw what was going on.

There hasn’t been a lot of strat talk since the POV meeting, and sex is on the mind of all the girls, though they’ve started to channel those energies into working out in the back yard. Things are gonna be all kinds of explosive soon - the boys better beware!

What did you think of the show tonight? I like the time to rewind the mind and see the DR sessions that we miss out on. Libra and April’s blow up after the food comp was amusing. What poor sports. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

Sunday night recap!

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

Hidey ho, kiddos! It’s that time again!

:00 Previously on Big Brother… here we go… refresh throughout, I’ll recap it as it happens!

:02 We start with a flashback to the eviction and Dan telling us he stuck to his word, and probably will stand out like a sore thumb, and Steven telling us he felt bad for Brian leaving. Ollie says his relationship with April is more important and Jerry feels no remourse because it wasn’t part of his plan, he did it to himself, and Angie says it was hard to watch him go.

We see his picture go black and white, and Libra was glad to see her biggest threat out of the house, she could have done a jig, a kick step. Jessie says black and white is a good look for Brian. Renny says she made it through the first cut, so that’s great.

:04 Jerry tells the houseguests that Julie asked him about betraying Brian, and he goes on about the military garb and taking it like a man. Dan says that it should tell him something - he broke his word. Renny says that you have to be careful giving out your Military word, and Jerry says he broke his word, I didn’t, and Jerry tells her she doesn’t listen.

:05 Flashback to the winning of the HOH competition and Jessie’s win. He tells us it was the best feeling in the world, and he can get back at Renny now. Keesha says that April’s jumping into Jessie’s arms was her being a little barbie bitch. Angie says that she feels Jessie has suspiciouns of her trying to keep Brian and it was a dumb move. Renny tells us it is what it is, another long week, her worst nightmare. Steven tells us everyone gravitated to him to form a best friend click. They wanted to divide the house into two groups -those that like Brian, those that don’t, and Jessie is dancing around.

Jessie and Memphis celebrate in the Storage Room and talk about “those three” going to sit down and it was so sad, so sad. Memphis says they see eye to eye and will help each other go far. Jessie says everyhone thinks he’s a body without a brain, he’s two for two - and there’s a celebration with others in the pink room.

Angie says everyone in the house is our side or their side, and she doesn’t like those people. Dan says he won’t kiss ass, and knows he’s going up. He tells us he knew he was going up but he has a lot of fight in him, he will get creative. Steven feels safe, and that Renny is the bigger target.

:10 Libra and April talk, and are sure Steven and Angie should go up, but Jessie hates Renny. They pull Michelle in and Libra says Renny would be a wasted nomination.

Time for the HOH reveal and Jessie’s going on and on about his body building pictures. He tells us it was uplifting for him. Renny says her son has better legs, but she’ll have to bite her tongue. Jessie says showing off like that was really cool, and we get flashes of him going on and on and everyone else kinda drifting off as he talks. April says it wasn’t her thing. Dan points out that there were one or two with friends and famil, the rest were him playing cool - everyone knows Jessie loves jessie.

Steven is downstairs, and doesn’t go up, and Jessie feels it’s disrespectful - specially when they see he’s woken up. Everyone clears out, but fr April, Michelle, Ollie and Jessie, and Memphis and the stat talk begins. They all push for Steven, though Jessie wants Renny. Jessie isn’t happy, and they all think Keesha is on the other side now - meanwhile she’s talking to Angie outside and they’re trying not to be catty, and she hates April. The crew upstairs continue to browbeat Jessie into not putting Renny up and doing what they want.
