:02 Hello Julie! Loving the black! It’s big brother Fast forward, a full weeks game in one night, though the hamsters don’t know it yet. Plus, America’s player is still working for us - we’ll still be able to tell Eric what to do via cell phone.

:03 Cut to the Veto Meeting, and the fall out afterwards. Jameka says she considers Jessica her good friend and won’t campaign against her at all. Jessica says she had the opportunity to get rid of D/D last week but didn’t, and hopes they’ll repay the favor. Cut to Dick and Daniele working their strategy and planning on getting Jessica out and making Jameka make a deal with the Devil. Dick tells us they are the deciding factor in who goes. Jameka is feeling too secure, and he’s going to tell her she’s going home, then right before the show offer her a deal and she’s sure she’ll take it. Cut to Dick telling her that she’s going home. Jameka tells us who all she’s playing for, and she’s not ready to go home. She tells Jessica right away what Dick had said, and she’s unsure if it’s the truth.

:06 Jessica tells Eric what happened with Dick/Jameka. Jessica isn’t sure, and tells us that Eric’s reassurance makes her feel like she’s ok. Eric is confident that Jessica is going to be safe, and they have nothing to worry about.

:07 Time for America’s Choice - who do we want him to get evicted. Thank God, he says, seeing Jameka on the card. He knows if we have any chance of making it to final two, he needs Jessica there to help him. He goes to Daniele to talk about if Jessica is going to stay. Daniele says he’s good - and gives him the reassurance he asks for.

:08 The houseguests are in for a shock! Let’s give them the news. Hello houseguests. You’re about to experience Fast Forward, tonight two will be leaving and at the end of the hour we’ll be down to the final four! Let’s get started. Big breaths! Plead your case. Jameka says that she has enjoyed her time here and hopes the time is not ending tonight, she’s made some good decisions and not so good, but she’s given her word and once you have that, it’s guaranteed. Strategic first, conversations later, she hopes she’s still there. Jessica says walking through the door the hardest thing would be having her rival there - but this has been the hardest week, may the best person win. Time for live vote!

Eric: Evict Jameka, of course. A secret message - America will still tell him what to do - after the HOH competition, she’ll ask one person to lead them all into the house, that’s the person he is to target. (sneaky!)

:12 Back to the living room to give the results. By a vote 2-1, Jessica you are evicted. She hugs Jameka, and a long hug for Eric at the door. He promises to do this for her, and gets a kiss. Another hug and tears from Jameka. Then a three way hug, before Jessica goes out to meet Julie with an ‘Unbelievable!’ under her breath.

:13 Hi Julie! Inside Eric says he’s not surprised, while Dick apologizes, and he looked pissed. Come on Eric - keep your head in the game. He does confront Daniele and said he could have told him, she asked for two days - he knows the score. They’re trying to say it’s last minute. Liars!

So, while I was sitting here panicing because the live show feed I usually watch says ‘page can’t be found’ - I was pondering the whole Deal offering, which will go one hidden behind trivia because CBS hates us.

We know that Dick and Daniele are going to offer Jameka a deal in order to keep her in:

We also know that it’s a very high likelihood that they will vote out Jessica regardless, and it’s simply an attempt to garner a promise from Jameka not to vote them out/put them up/use the pov to save them kind of deal. They’re banking on doing it minutes before the live show will ensure her silence..

But…

They’ve forgotten something. They’ve forgotten that she gets to ADDRESS ALL THE HOUSEGUESTS on the live show before the votes go down! What if Jameka, in an effort to finally gain my respect and undying love (won’t happen, but she can try!) stands there and says something to the effect of:

“Dear Dastardly Donatos. I know I promised you I’d keep my end of the DEAL and vote out EVERYONE BUT YOU as you TURN ON YOUR ALLIANCE members. But I’m not sure I can do it without telling everyone the DEAL we made. Do what you gotta do….”

Can you IMAGINE the stir that’d make? Perhaps they’d vote her out in a fit of revenge - as would seem very likely, because they’ve done it before. Perhaps they’d keep her just so Dick could yell at her for the next week. Regardless, she would have tipped their hand, shown their cards, and called them out in grand ED fashion….

Sure, it’s a pipe dream - but it’d be great TV! A girl’s gotta have a dream, right?

And, just in case it’s our last time seeing Jessica and Eric on the big screen together… here’s a very amusing tribute to them, using one of my favorite songs. Gotta love the BB fans out there!

So - here’s hoping the East Coast feeders come up on time! If so, I’ll be back here in 90 minutes to do my live blogging! See ya then!

The internets are buzzing with speculation about tomorrow’s double live eviction and what that entails. Some think it’ll be like last years All Stars when they went from 6 to 4 in the fast forward - and that’s the way I’m leaning too. The houseguests are certain it’s too late for something like that, and I think that they’ll all be smacking their foreheads when the announcement goes through.

With the lockdown over, and something covered up in the backyard (which is open only so Dick can smoke and they can access laundry - they’re not supposed to speak of what they can see, or loiter near the doors, or anything like that.) and you can see the hamster wheels a spinnin as they try and figure out what it might be. Then Dick came up with the winner - “It looks like a POV contest to me.”

Little do they know…

Everything is quiet on the Houseguests part tonight. Daniele and Dick have been jedi training off and on, Jessica did some as well. Jameka and Jessica packed their bags, and Zach moved most of his stuff back downstairs in preparation for tomorrow’s clearing of the HOH.

There’s been little strategy talk, just the occasional whispers here and there. Dick and Daniele still are telling Eric and Jessica to relax (also known as ‘lying’) while the plan still remains to approach Jameka right before the show with a deal. Basically if she swears to do what D/D want, they’ll let her stay. They are positive she’ll take this deal, but I’m not so sure. They are SO positive that they don’t have a plan b. If Jameka tells them to effoff, I’m still not sure they won’t keep her anyway.

Which sucks, because I still want my JEDD final four!

Tomorrow’s show will be jampacked excitement for sure! Who do you think will be the evictees tomorrow night? Who do you want to win the HOH? Who do you think WILL win HOH? HOW are we supposed to last the next 16 hours?!

Last time, on Big Brother 8…. Yup, it’s Recap time.

We rejoin our favorite hamsters just after the nomination ceremony, where Jessica and Jameka were nominated, on Day 63. Zach says he’s judge. jury and he’s the dream crusher. Jameka says her instinct says Zach is in something with ED and Daniele. Jessica says Zach told her that he isn’t holding last week against her - which is a load of crap. Eric knows that he let down Jessica, it was exactly what she was afraid of.

Jessica and Jameka talk about the speech, and laugh that he feels threatened by two girls, and they want Eric to win POV because it’s the perfect scenario. Jameka of course wants to be in the final three with Jessica, so bad.

Daniele joins Zach in the HOH. They talk about Jessica’s evil smile, and Zach doesn’t feel bad because Jessica let Eric do all the talking for her, and they laugh at Eric’s twitching. They agree that the worse case scenario is if Eric won it, naturally.

Eric is upset, and tells Jameka that he’s not doing well and really taking it all hard. (This is the night he did a voluntary DR session to try and clear his head.) He says he really cares for Jessica and he feels like a heel and he’s going to lose the game and the person he really cares about. He tells us he’s doing what he needs to do to support America and play our game. It’s his dream, and it’s turning into a nightmare, because he may have to hurt the person he cares most about.

Now - it’s recap time! Previously, on Big Brother 8…

We rejoin our houseguests with a flashback to Amber’s eviction - which never gets old! Dick tells us he feels good seeing her walk out the door, she was full of crap and a self-righteous bitch. Jessica wanted her to stay, but trusted Eric. Daniele find’s it amusing that she was warned about Eric, she told Amber that weeks ago, and she’s amused that no one knows what’s going on. Jameka is going to try her best and make Amber proud of her.

Day 62 that was, and Zach is happy that he’s still here. Eric is satisfied because America wanted it, and so did he.

Time to watch the remainder of the HOH competition! We re-hear Julie telling us of the rules, and watch them slipping and sliding all over again. And we see Eric taking his falls and he tells us it was brutal. everyone is slipping and sliding. Dick says he barely stand up, he’s 14 years older then the next oldest one, and he smokes and doesn’t work out. Zach even tried to clean up the lane - with his chest. Eric really was having a horrible time of it!

Dick was feeling confident, because it was 3-1. Zach knew he had to do whatever it took to secure his survival. Jessica says Eric wasn’t doing well staying on his feet - and he wasn’t. SO take that you guys who said he was faking it! Blarg. Jameka is worried, as well she should be. Jameka goes in and grabs Daniele a hair tie, and moans about Amber while she’s in there.

There’s a smaller container in the lain - the first to fill the container by the end of the game, gets a phone call from home. Daniele put one in there, but then stopped. Eric was immediately torn, he wasn’t doing well at all, and so he decided to go for it and he got the phone call from home!

There are now two cups at the end of the lanes - they come at a price though, the entire house will go on cold water for 1 day for each cup used. Everyone takes two, and there’s cold water for 8 days.

(This is absolutely brutal to watch!)

Dick is still in good spirits - feet don’t fail me now! He says he was a waiter for a long time, but Zach was moving fast. Zach says using two cups was a calculated risk, because he is Zach, and could make up the difference. Dick knew he had to do anything he could to win because an hour before the show he laid into Zach. He lets us know he was pissed off about the way Zach turned on him. Zach shakes his head, (And we know he’s lying!) And CUE THE ROCKER MUSIC!!

Zach says he’s played the game honorably, and here’s Dick’s I tell the truth speech. Dick knew that Daniele and Eric weren’t close and may as well had sat down. Zach was only concentrating on winning, and Dick knew it was all on him - Zach can’t win this HOH! It’s very close.

No one loves a good conspiracy theory like a Big Brother fan! We’ve all heard the rumblings about Diary Room and Producer’s influence, people for and against America’s player, and on and on… Here’s some of the latest!

As many are aware by now, Amber was evicted on Thursday, but not interviewed by anyone on Friday, not even on the CBS morning show with Julie Chen, or on House Calls! CBS issued a statement saying that they were going to truly sequester the remaining evictees so as not to influence them about the game. Many reporters - including AP and online sources - had declined to interview Amber (or Jameka should she have been the one evicted) because CBS insisted the press not ask any questions regarding Amber’s anti-Jew remarks.

The feeling is that these might unduly influence their votes in the end game for some reason. I could see Amber feeling bad that someone might think badly of her (BOY is she in for a BIG surprise!) and tossing a vote to Eric to ‘make up for it’ so perhaps they are in the right - after all, we don’t ever get to see Survivor contestants until after the season has already ended and those last votes have been cast! CBS has promised that all contestants will be available immediately following the finale on September 18.

Then there was last night - the houseguests had a surprise, late night veto competition that featured Janelle. Beforehand, Janelle was apparently on a shoutbox, and allegedly said something that was interpreted that she’d be mean to Eric, because she doesn’t like him. Naturally, the minute that the competition was over, something Daniele said to the effect of Janelle loved her and hated Eric and what does it all mean had fans going rabid over Janelle’s manipulating the game and all hell broke loose on boards everywhere!

Now, me? I am a fan - but not a rabid fan. I love Eric, but I’m not going to go accusing folks of fixing things for or against him or any of the other houseguests. Nor am I going to defend why I like the guy I like by telling others they are wrong. The thing is - we haven’t even SEEN this competition yet, and we are not in the house. All we have are the PERCEPTIONS of the houseguests and Janelle, who were actually involved. It’s all hearsay, baby, and we’re all entitled to our opinions!

There’s been many times I’ve seen something said on the boards and I’ve had to wonder if I’m watching the same show on the feeds that other people are. Often times what I saw and understood is perceived as something totally different by others, and sparks a huge argument. Also - we see so much of these guys, it’s hard to remember every little thing that was said or done and how it corresponds to other things said or done. It’s all one giant game of perception and opinion.

So, with that said? OMG! For a guy who begged folks to make a power move last week, where was that determination to make one of his own this week? Now he’s taking the easy way out as well! And what makes him more deserving all of the sudden after winning ONE competition? AND WHY DON’T THESE PEOPLE LISTEN WHEN I YELL AT THE MONITOR?

And why, oh why, do we have the next five days of nothing for the hamsters to do? Though - I have to say, if they weren’t so tired today - and throughout the next few days, that latex body paint, and edible body paint might present some interesting scenarios. At least I certainly HOPE so!

I can’t WAIT till Thursday! But, that said, catcha later tonight with the Sunday Night Recap!

After 3 hours of trivia - we come back to Daniele and Zach, looking like cats who swallowed the canaries…

With everyone sleeping except for Dick and Jameka, the feeds went to trivia at approx 12:20am, giving credence to the rumor that the POV will indeed be held tonight! Being Friday, and the fact that I have no life - I shall be here till the end, and post whatever spoilers I can glean as soon as they come available! Stay tuned!

Janelle posted on Jokers that they were picking her up at 10pm BB Time, for her to host this competition. They also ran a ticker across the bottom of the screen on BBAD that said “Veto Competition is later tonight”. For the most part, the houseguests do not know it is coming. Dick suggests he knows he can go outside and smoke at midnight, but they haven’t really confirmed anything else. Everyone went to bed, but for Dick - waiting to smoke, and Jameka who couldn’t sleep. Nice. I do know that everyone is hoping for something that’s not too strenuous after the HOH competition - Dick and Eric in particular are looking pretty beat up.

As for my feelings on why they’re doing it this early? Simple, really. Monday is a holiday. I bet they want to give as many folks the day off as possible, so having the POV Competition tonight, and the POV meeting tomorrow, it allows the construction crews at least to take the day off on Monday.

Course, I could be wrong and they could just have decided to be mean, but whatever! All’s fair in love and BB8!

Interesting how much just a few hours can change things in the house! We’ve a new HOH, and the LJC alliance is suddenly in the hot seat, and everyone is trying to figure out just how they’re going to work this to ensure the person they want to go home is actually put on the block - and stays there. And also - all the players from the HOH? Looking PRETTY sore and beat up. That was a ROUGH competition.

:03 Good evening, Julie! Looking, beautiful as always. it’s been a week of highs and lows, again. No matter the issues between JEDD, they’ve staid true, but there’s a secret 5th member, and that’s America, and Amber’s gone on the block (And is doing the pet the cat as he promised! HAHAH!) Minutes from now, Amber or Zach will be evicted. But first! What’s love and what’s strategy, isn’t always clear!

:04 Cut to Veto Meeting, and Eric not using it. Amber says Eric is looking out for Eric and he’s here for only himself and doesn’t care for anyone else. everyone congratulates him on his speech, and Zach says he’s not going down without a fight.

:05 Jessica and Eric are in the HOH room, and we see Jessica’s breakdown, and that she feels bad because she put up two people that didn’t have a problem with her at all. She’s worried about Dick and Daniele and worried that she made a mistake. Eric starts talking her back from the edge, reminding her that Amber doesn’t like her - and guess who’s at the door! Amber - and cue the tears. She says she’s worked hard for this (Um. when?) And she hopes that they vote and do the right thing and wants people who are deserving to win it, the good people!

Eric tells us she has one argument - the good people argument, but he’s had enough of her crying and weak gameplay. Afterwards, Jessica says that she wants to keep her, but knows she’s going to be the one to go, she can tell.

:07 Dick tells Zach that he’s going to stay. Zach says he’d rather to take him to the final two. Dick says everyone wants to win, and he wants to break up Amber and Jameka. Zach will be happy with second place, and if he has the chance at HOH he’s putting up Jessica and Jameka and backdoor Eric. Dick tells him only if he’s offered up Dick or Daniele as back door will he go - flashback to when he did that, and he then lies to Dick.

:09 It’s the Amber and Jameka doubleteam against Jessica. They say Eric ran her HOH, and they’re positive that Eric has a deal with D/D - and Amber is positive he’d throw the HOH so he doesn’t get pictures of his ex on the wall. Jessica says she’d keep Amber in event of a tie - Amber says she was a manipulator of her boyfriend and she can see Eric doing the same thing. Jessica tells us that Amber bashed on Eric and Jessica has been aligned with him the entire time, and now she’s confused. Eric intrurrupts, and they go downstairs and Amber and Jameka know she needs Daniele’s vote.

:11 Amber gets to Daniele and plays the good person and she’s going to have her back and SWEARS ON HER LITTLE GIRLS LIFE again. Daniele tells us it would be in her best interest if Amber would stay because she wouldn’t be nominated.

:12 Time for America’s Task! As we suspected, we voted to evict Amber. She’s causing trouble and masquerading as one of the “good people” and needs to get of her high horse. Eric gets to work, and talks to Jessica. This is the fight/makeup/conversation that we saw the other night on the feeds that was hours long, and Eric pointed out repeatedly how two-faced Amber was with Jessica and her trashing Eric, and how she used drugs and all of that and keeps saying she’s a good person and don’t get carried away. Just because this week she’s kissing ass does not mean she has Jessica’s back, and is causing problems with the only one who has her back.

:15 Dick, Eric and Jessica talk and Dick they compare stories about how Zach is telling each pair that he’d put the other pair up. Dick says he’s going to confront him.

:16 Coming up, Jameka’s family and pastor talk about her and spread some news she doesn’t know yet. And Eric and Jessica - are the feelings real, or is Eric America’s “playah”?

Sorta. The houseguests were on lockdown “until further notice” earlier today. Shortly after midnight, they were advised they were on semi-lockdown status, which means Dick can go outside and smoke, but there are no conversations allowed outside, and no one can look under the tarp, and no one can step off the certain area.

They’ve discussed all the possibilities they can think of, from slip and slide competitions to tug of war, and contemplating sending Zach and Amber out to peek under the tarp and take the penalty nom for the team and tell them exactly what’s under there.

….I go to sleep for TWO HOURS before I get the kids up for school, and come back to find Jessica and Eric STILL awake and talking. Not only that, but after checking around the boards, I found out that Eric confessed to being the stray votes AND doing the mustard! From all reports, he did not say why, just that he was responsible. Jessica was laughing and giggling, and so he’s gotten away with telling her his big secret in the game, and still maintaining her support and gaining points for honesty.

As of now, they’ve JUST gone to sleep at 8:30am BB time, and as soon as my kids are off to school, I’m following their lead and going back to bed myself. After all - what ELSE could happen over the next couple hours? (Insert dryly amused look HERE.)
