:01 Last time on Big Brother! Recap time.

:03 Well hello, Julie! Gorgeous as always. It’s day 48, and never before has anyone gone so far to make themselves the bigger target to save another houseguest. Will Father/Daughter be torn apart? Or will, once again, the pawn go home? But first… Footage of the POV meeting.

:05 We go back to just after the Veto Meeting. Dick is thrilled to be up on the block against Dustin. It could be a coup - don’t think it’ll happen, but maybe. Dustin wanted to see Dick freak out about losing his daughter. Jen would be content with either leaving. Daniele thinks Dick giving up this opportunity for her means more then anything.

Cut to Jessica and Dustin, confident that worst-case scenario it’s a 3-3. He’s confident that he’s cutting off Daniele’s other leg (cut the first off by getting Nick out) and she’s got nuthin. Jessica knows Dustin is shady and high on her radar.

:07 Eric and Jessica talk, and he apologizes for the whole silent treatment thing. I HOPE YOUR HAPPY AMERICA! Harumph. Jessica says that she trusts Eric 100% and hopes they can take on the house together.

:08 Jessica and Zach’s date. Zach says he did it to express strategy, and get to know her better. Jessica listens, and starts thinking about what the better solution would be strategically. Zach says he’ll stick to his word and vote Dick out, unless Jessica tells him otherwise.

:10 AP time! Time to find out who we will be targeting for eviction this week. he hopes Dick - but it’s Dustin. Not a shocker, as it’s what he was expecting, and that’s that. He goes and crawls into bed with Jessica to talk about her date with Zach. And he gets all cute and distracted when Jessica takes her shirt off, and gets a quick anatomy lesson “These are boobs.” Love the music. *L* Back to strategy, kids!

It cracks me up, every time. Reading live feed recappers and commenters on various sites, and watching them FREAK OUT when it seems things won’t go their way. (Especially at Sucks. That is comedy gold, right there!) EVERYONE knows that the last 48 hours before an eviction, things will flip then flop then flip again. It happens every single week!

Case in point - this week. My take on the last couple of days is as follows:

We left Tuesday’s show, Dustin was a pawn, and America’s Voters were voting en masse to get him out of the house. Dustin was his typically snide, over-confident, I’m better then you self as he strutted around in his kings robe. The feeds went nuts, upset at this even before Eric got his directives. Patience is NOT an American virtue. Heh.

So Eric gets his directives, and starts working (take THAT, nay-sayers!) on Jessica and presenting the options. They don’t decide anything definitive yet, and the Voters start screaming RIGGED! AUGH! (Where if it WERE rigged, it would be in their favor this week, no? Yes. Relax, darlings!) Then there are talks with the LNC, where Eric seems completely on board with getting Dick out. This is called CYA, people. No use making the next 24+ miserable!

There are talks by Dick and Daniele with Jessica, and again with Eric, and still no definitive yes or no on this deal. Feeders go NUTS. I cackle quietly into my hand.

Late last night, Eric and Jessica get to talk at last, in depth, in the back yard. This is after a DR session that ended with Eric being rather quiet and contemplative. Interesting. Could this have something to do with the Little Person and Giant Pirate? Who knows… At any rate, after an hour of talk, Erissica agree that teaming up with the Dastardly Donatos is a good, strategic and power play move. They’ll pull in Jen as their third, with the DDs pulling in Zach, and as a group they will vote Dustin out of the game.

There, America - you should be HAPPY now! Cut the kid a break, will ya? Sheesh.

As of this morning, it’s a typical Thursday morning - houseguests are cleaning, Erissica as well, since they have to do Zach and Daniele’s cleaning for the day due to losing at Beer Pong. There hasn’t been any real game talk - though Dustin did just run in to talk to Zach, and Zach flipped him off after he left. Heh.

Oh! And last night, to throw everyone off, Eric and Jen hid things around the house, while Jessica giggled upstairs. Awesome.

So how do you think it’ll turn out? Will Dustin get ousted? Will it be by forced tie, or will they be able to pull Jen and Zach in for sure before it’s all said and done? If a forced tie, will Jessica keep her word to Eric, or go against the Donatos? CAN WE HANDLE THE WAIT?

Nah, me either. Every Thursday I WISH I lived on the East Coast…. (grin) Check back later for the live/Type-Delayed/blogging!

Beer pong - the houseguests have been holding a beer pong running game for the past nights - Zach and Daniele vs. Eric and Jessica. There were wagers involved, there was laughter, and fun had by all. Missed it? Here’s some:

And one of those wagers has involved the infamous Dolphin Crash Booty Shorts - which Eric must wear for a picture with the HOH camera. He added to it when he went to change - he’d put them on, they could take a picture of his ass as he backed out of the bathroom stall, not of the front, and then he was going to take them right back off again.

The Mad Hatter! Innnnnnnnnnteresting!! I wondered why we had Trivia! I have vids coming!

He’s repeating the same sayings over and over - that’s all he’s saying.

The best was his imitating Dick with Dick’s sunglasses on. I missed that thought - I was laughing to hard! *L*

Ya’ll can’t say he isn’t working for you this time! Minutes after getting out of the DR and finding out the results of America’s Choice for eviction, Eric and Jessica are comparing notes on her date, and general scenario talking.

That is definitely taking the possibility of evicting Dustin over Dick in a big way. There’s just under 48 hours before Thursday’s show - anything can happen folks, like we’ve seen before!

ETA: And if this works, with Jessica’s helping Eric to make it work for you? I do HOPE that you’ll not vote to actively hurt Eric and/or Jessica again next week, whatever the task may be! Restore my faith in voters!

And? If that doesn’t sway ya! This should! Taking a break from strategy to take advantage of that little nook… and scare the hell outa Jen…

And Jen was so freakin cute in this clip too. I hate to admit that I’m warming up to her… So I won’t. (grin)

Zach is a goober. He really is. I knew dozens of guys like him in high school - and underneath it all? Zach, like they were, is a really nice guy. He genuinely cares about his fellow housemates, and is just… kinda socially awkward. I feel for the guy, I do!

Tonight was his ‘date night’ with Jessica. He’s been wanting to cook for one of the girls, and Jessica stood up and said “ok, me!” He baked salmon and pasta, and even set up the backyard with a table for two. Jessica got dressed up, so did he, and they had a nice (if… awkward at times) dinner, talking stuff, and game, and eating a yummy looking dinner with beer out of champagne glasses.

Said Eric: She may be going to dinner with Zach, but she’s coming home to me!
Said Zach: There will be no sex. I have on my chastity belt - Dustin holds the key.

After dinner? Beer Pong - with everyone back in their rightful pairings. Erissica vs. Zachiele. All is right in the BB World.

Except for people with the “RIGGED” theories.

Which technically could still make things all right in the BB World… (Grin)

Previously on Big Brother 8…

After our recap of Sunday’s episode, we rejoin the Houseguests after the Nomination Ceremony, where Dick and Daniele were nominated for eviction on Day 42. Dick tells us that his Goal is to push Daniele further in the game and give her every chance to make it. Daniele says she hates fake people and liars, and it’s hard. Jessica says a lot of people would be upset if Dick stayed, but she’d rather Daniele go instead.

Dick and Daniele talk about not being a good enough liar, and they can’t trust anyone but Zach to a certain extent. Dick tells us he’s giving Daniele a lot of advice on the folks in the game, because he feels she has a better chance then her, and offers to smash up her vitamins if needed. He feels better that she’s little him be her dad and that’s worth more to him then the money.

Jessica says she didn’t invite Jen to the HOH, but she comes up anyway. She’s trying to play both sides and listens in, and Jessica finds it really annoying. She won’t tell her to go away though, because that’d be rude. Dick says he’ll not only get the five to hate him, but to despise him so that Daniele stays in the game.

It’s that time again! We rejoin our houseguests to hear Dick tell us that he was lied too, and got played. Daniele tells us it didn’t work out because she put her faith in people who’s word is less then chewed up gum on the shoe. Eric says it feels good that his friends have his back. And we see Dick confronting everyone, and declaring them all lying, and telling him that he doesn’t deserve to be there. All of which went down before the HOH competition.

We see the excitement of the HOH competition win by Jessica again, and how they didn’t care about throwing it into Dick and Daniele’s faces. Dustin’s pleased that he got what he wanted, not Dick. Daniele says it just shows they knew all along, and that they were lied too. Dick says he knows they’re going up, but he still has some plays.

Dick congratulates Jessica, goes after Amber and says she lied. Eric tells him that they freed him of any obligation. And we see the confrontation between Dick and Jameka that we got moments of on Thursday. Dick says he’s more honest then the folks reading the Bible in the house and Jameka goes off, because she says nothing about his beliefs, and says “Don’t bring that shit to me, that’s on you! So keep my name out ya mouth!” And it goes on and on. Jameka tells him that she was clapping to make sure her hands were in front of her, and not on him. They even fight over who got Nick out and here comes Dustin and Dick tells her to back off. And she calls him ignorant. Oh this is beautiful!

Zach tells us that Dick officially got duped, the peasants are revolting and not scared of him anymore and he doesn’t like it. Eric gives Jameka a hug and says thank you, and she’s in tears because Dick is always attaching her, and Eric says they’re all proud of her.

Ooooooooohboy. See what happens when I dare sleep, then go out for the morning? I miss all the drama!

Dick was in FINE form this morning. (rolls eyes) He decided to put everyone off their POV game, starting by waking up Dustin by standing over him and banging pots and pans, yelling at the top of his lungs, and goading them about their choices. To Amber, ragging on her drug use, Jameka about her faith, Dustin he threatened sexual violence, which ended in his getting warned in the DR. For a bit of what they dealt with - see below. Foul language, etc, and if you’re easily offended DON’T CLICK PLAY. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

It’s just another day in the Big Brother House! Paranoia reigns, and Amber is complaining to Jessica then Jameka that they think Dustin and Eric are in a Secret Alliance now. You know, I don’t think that the Big Brother House is big enough for all of these Secret Alliances! And see if this reasoning sounds familiar:

- Eric and Amber never talk game. Dustin and Jessica never talk game.
- Eric and Dustin (but mostly Dustin) have a habit of asking the girls “What was that all about?” every time they have a conversation with someone, or each other.
- Eric apparently told Jessica that Amber is jealous of him and Jessica and told Amber the same thing in reverse.
- Every time Amber has a conversation, Dustin is all over her asking what it was about, but never gives up his own info about his own conversations.

Is ANYONE ELSE seeing a pattern here?

So the Amber and Jessica are comparing notes, and bring in Jameka for a paranoia Rap Session. Not even 5 minutes later, Dustin breaks up the HOH party and asks “What’s going on?” and thus proves their point. Too funny!

I’m really rather sick of Dustin and his bravado when he’s telling about his confrontations with people to other people. It’s always exaggerated and painted to make him look better - Amber is wearing of on him, or they’re simply two peas in a pod.

So, let’s see. Eric and Jen are in a secret alliance. Eric and Dustin are in a secret alliance. Zach is suddenly got people hanging out with him - and he’s reporting everything back to the Dastardly Donatos, which of course is suspiciously like a secret alliance. Jameka and Amber have a secret alliance (God Squad - this one actually exists!). In plain view we have the five - Eric and Jessica, Dustin and Amber, Jameka vs. Dick and Daniele, Zach, Jen - who’s working with both groups. I think. Who is like, Jen like, working like, with? Course, Dick is positive that it’s Dustin/Amber/Eric/Jessica have a final four agreement, proving again that he’s just as clueless as the rest of them.

Man. I need a flow chart! Though I fear it’ll look like this:

PS. I’m really getting tired of Dustin’s condescending BS. Seriously. Dream scenario? They decide to use him as a pawn against Dick or Daniele, and - because he’s SO POSITIVE it’d never happen that he’s got his speech already written about being the “courtesy flush to get rid of the trash beside him”, he gets booted. Can you IMAGINE the drama?! It’d be beautiful! (And yes, I know, he was one of my favorites. But now, every time he starts to speak I want to punch him. Ha.)

Then? Dick/Daniele gets HOH, puts up Amber and Jameka and breaks up the God Squad.
Then? Jen gets HOH, and puts up Dick/Daniele and Dick goes home.
Then? Eric gets HOH, puts up Daniele/Jameka and Jameka goes home.

Boy, I’m working myself into a Daniele/Jen final two, aren’t I? That’s SO not where I started this season! And it won’t be where I end either! God, I love this game…
