Life Feed Mania!
Friday, August 10th, 2007We knew after Thursday’s show the feeds were going to be on fire, and they have NOT disappointed at all, not one little bit! Here’s some of the funnier highlights and pure gold for the live feeds.
Dustin: Did they spray something out here?
ED: If they did, they missed you.
Eric: There’s some burgers still in there if you want some.
ED: F*** off, Eric.
BB: Amber, please go to the Diary Room.
ED: Amber, please cry like a little B****.
ED: You hanging around me for a reason? You love my company? Is it because I think your Christianity is a joke? Because I call you Hypocrit?
Jameka: Your mother and your daughter are too, then, hm?
Which escalated into this:
But on the OTHER side of that - Moments ago Eric and Jess talk about Zach.
Eric: He likes you on a personal level, so show him your strategic side…
Jessica: He can kiss my strategic side BUTT! I’ll just flash him my boobs and he’ll vote for me.

ERISICA FOREVER!
Thursday Night Live (Type/Time Delayed) Blogging!
Thursday, August 9th, 2007Setting up the post! 25 minutes to go!
:02 Previously on Big Brother 8!
:04 Well hello, Julie Chicken, how nice of you to join us! Interesting outfit tonight! Rumors, insults have been flying all week. Minutes form now the houseguets vote live - America our player is at risk! Who will be voted out, Kail or Eric? But first, there’s been arguments in the house, but nothing like this!
:06 We see the Veto Competition first, and Eric being put on the block. Eric says being up against Kail is easier then being up against others, but his safety is in the hands of Amber, Jameka, Jessica and Dustin. Kail says she felt safer being nominated against Jen. Daniele wants her out. Dick says they only need one more vote to make it happen.
:08 Eric talks to Amber in the backyard, and Amber does the infamous swearing n her daughter’s life, and we see footage of her and her daughter hugging pre-season. Dick talks to Jen and Kail and says he wants Kail in the house, unbelievably, but feels he can’t trust them. Dick tells Kail that she owes him if it happens. Cut to Dick telling Amber in the workout room, then he tells us that he has something that’ll knock him out like a bowling pin. Back to the WR - and Dick drops the boyfriend story and that Eric says he’ll play it. Cut to Eric talking to Dick that he had this story, but that he wouldn’t repeat it. Back to the WR, where Dick is still going on to Amber. Then they cut to Amber telling him the secret in the pool! So much for no one knowing, Amber. Dick tells Amber he wants to seal the deal so he’s gone. Amber “Oh my God.”
:11 Cut to the bathroom where Amber tells Dick what’s going on, and she’s all upset about it, and says that she wants to get rid of him now that she knows this and how dare him!
Will I get my miracle?
Thursday, August 9th, 2007Wow. Yesterday was quite the day for the Big Brother House. I think it made paying for the feeds well worth it all on it’s own! Things were happening so fast it was difficult to keep up.
As of early Wednesday morning before the hamsters went to bed, I was certain Eric was going home. The Dastardly Donados had gotten into Amber’s head, she was pissed off at the world and ready to draw and quarter Eric all on her own. Which she did when she called him out loudly in front of the whole house, leaving the houseguests understandably stunned.

It looked like Eric was sunk. It was painful to watch, and to see him so visibly hurting while Amber told and retold her story of calling him out was heart-wrenching. Don’t get me wrong - he was in the wrong about it, but Amber’s high and mighty bs is getting on my last nerve!
I still couldn’t read Dustin, not until I caught the comment he made to the girls - keep their votes, he’ll be the one to vote out Eric, and if there’s another ‘hinky’ vote, they’ll know the real culprit was Dick and it’s all been a total setup. WELL THEN. That, my friends, takes moxie.

Eric held court with Daniele, in her HOH room, and with each member of the houseguests, barring Amber and Dick of course. In his talk with Daniele and Jessica, he was very real, and it killed me to see him so worried about mending his friendships before he left the house. The more support he felt from them on a friendship level, the more he was able to pull himself together, and start thinking about the game once more. He even relieved Jameka of her promise to keep him, and said to do what she felt was right.
Dustin finally pulled Amber aside late last night to talk to her about using her head instead of her heart. If they want any chance of taking out the Dastardly Donados, they need the numbers in their favor and that can only happen if they keep Eric. Ahhhh! Thank you Dustin for keeping my little spark of hope alive! Dustin, Jameka, and Jessica all spoke to Amber to let her know this is indeed the best route for them to go. They need someone who can fight for HOH this week, and in following weeks. Amber, though upset (like when is she ever NOT upset?) agrees, and it looks like America’s player is saved! WAHHOOOO!
There are still several hours to the live show, though, and we all know that Amber’s completely unstable and that Dustin needs to stay in her ear all day so that she doesn’t flip again. Dick threatened Eric, said that if he caught him campaigning to stay he’d make his last house miserable, which is total BS. Everyone has the right to speak to whomever they want, especially when on the block. Dick and Daniele are confident they’re right, and that they’ve got a fool proof plan, even though they’re already planning on going against their deal with Dustin if they get HOH again - good thing Dustin didn’t believe their talks of safety anyway!
Hang on folks, it’s bound to be a bumpy ride today! Just goes to show why we adore this show!
Also: CBS is rumored that they’ll address Amber’s anti-Jew tirade couple days ago on tonight’s show. Rumor mills are in an uproar, with many crying for her eviction because of it. I don’t think they’ll evict her, though that would be sweet. I do think it will be brought up either on the show or afterwards and we’ll see Amber in full on basketcase mode. I just hope it’s AFTER the vote. Heh.
I’ll be back tonight with my Type/Time Delay Live Blog!

The more things change…
Wednesday, August 8th, 2007The big brother house is jumpin’ - just like it is every Tuesday/Wednesday before a live eviction. The Dastardly Donado’s are working their agenda full time, and I for one am sick to death of hearing about Nick! Seriously, this guy did NOTHING but make moony eyes at Daniele at the expense of her boyfriend. But it’s so fruuuuuuuuussssssssstraaaaaaaating! (Rolls eyes) They’re raising him up to be some sort of saint, and Eric the devil in disguise.
In fact, after a late night meeting where the Dastardly Donatos worked their double teaming intimidation/whine routine on Amber, she freaked out about what I consider to be Eric’s one mistake - the holding of her personal story over her. She went and got Dustin, and said if she hadn’t have sworn on her daughter, she would vote him out and wants Dustin to do her dirty work for her.
Dustin flipflops so fast all I can hope is that he’s playing them all. Unfortunately, he flipflops so much depending on whom he’s talking too, I can’t read him very well anymore at all. He tells the girls to keep their word, and vote against Kail, and he’d be the one vote that sends him out of the house, so that it’s on him. I held some hope that it would be a master move by Dustin where he’d keep Eric in anyway. I had hope…
…until just a while ago. Amber pulled her card and went off on Eric in front of the whole house while they were on lockdown. He didn’t say a word, didn’t say anything, and let her go. There was stoney silence afterwards, and then after speaking to Kail and promising to tell her everything about the rest of the houseguests that he knows for her to use as she see fits.
He’s now in the Diary Room and everyone is saying they think he’s going to DOR. Dick put his suitcase on his bed. And now we get to listen to Amber toot her own horn for the rest of her (hopefully short) time in the house - she’s already retold it fifteen times in the past 20 minutes. Not to mention Dick will take credit for the whole thing, and Daniele will continue to say it was all for Nick. Ugh.
Oy. That was painful to watch, especially coming from Whamber, and knowing she’s the one who set Nick up, and that she lied about it, her rant yesterday about New York Jews, and so on and so forth. I’m still hoping for a miracle, but that hope is fading.
And I hope they get the Dastardly Donatos out of there - and soon.
There are still 25 hours left till the live feed - I’ll hold on to the hope for a miracle until the very end!

It’s the power of loooov…. Numbers!
Wednesday, August 8th, 2007It’s recap time!
We rejoin our hamsters right after the Nomination Ceremony. Kail says again that she’s 100% safe, and Jen isn’t concerned at all either, because she’s still there after three chances. Dick goes after them and tells them that this time it’s sticking, and makes a good show of it and he and Jen get into it again. He tells us in DR that she doesn’t need to know that it’s not the plan to send her home.
Eric says the D/D reunion tour is in full effect and he knows they’re coming after him. He knows he needs to secure four. Eric and Jessica tells Amber and Dustin about the back door plan. Jessica says she’ll pretend to go along but there’s no way she will vote for them. Dustin declares the remaining five od the LNC need to stick together.
Eric talks to Jameka and tells her what’s going on and that it’ll be paypack for Nick. He tells her they won’t have the votes, but will think they do. Jameka goes to Amber, and they talk about it. They know Jessica is loyal to Eric. They’re quite confident, if worried a bit about the whole logistics of this.
Zach and Daniele talk in HOH and talk game and she laments the fact that she was the only one who wanted Nick to stay again (ed: good lord people GET OVER IT. Ugh.). Zach says he doesn’t have many friends, but promises to do whatever Daniele wants. Daniele tells us that she expected him to come to her and she’ll use it to her advantage.
Eric, Jessica and Dustin talk about it in the bathroom, and solidify their plans. Dustin says that if they want to go through it - the two of them are out on their own.
POV Spoilers!
Monday, August 6th, 2007HOH and Nominations - all official like!
Sunday, August 5th, 2007Previously, on BB8! After the recap, in which we’re treated again to the ice tea incident, we rejoin the HOH competition, Time’s Up! Kail says she knows the deck is stacked against her, and she has to win everything. Dustin says there’s the 6 LNC members against Jen, Kail and Zach, and he feels confident. Jess explains that the torso and heads had to stay below the bar as they hung. She says the foam was slick and made it hard to hang on.
Everyone is struggling, and Amber falls at 6 minutes. Kail says she held on to her faith, digging deep. Eric put his torso up over the bar and was disqualified at 9 minutes. He tells us he gets motion sickness and is disgusted for failing his alliance and America.
Jameka falls at 10 minutes. On the sidelines, Eric mentions the speech from Nick and that if her relationship wasn’t over before, it is now - and we cut to the speech and Daniele who is furious that Nick’s gone. She calls him a friend, and says that she knows her boyfriend is happy that Nick is gone. Kail says she doesn’t want the emotional roller coaster again….
..and Amber cries.

Saturday, August 4th, 2007Aw come on - you KNOW you want to know how things have changed in what passes for my mind this week! With everything going on since Thursday - it’s been an ever-changing combination of love/hate - and it seems ever more obvious that smaller alliances have formed within the larger factions in ever-changing dynamics.

Standard spoiler goes here, folks! If you don’t want to know who’s up on the block before Sunday nights’ show, then do not click below. I mean it! No clicking! Last chance to look away!
Good afternoon, hamster watchers!
Friday, August 3rd, 2007My, my, my, what a difference a night makes! The interenets are on FIRE, and the houseguests seem to be too. Or that could be the ringworm. Either way.
(Oh, how I wish I was kidding - the houseguests just all went into the DR, sans Zach, to tell them Zach has ringworm, and they want it taken care of. Um. Ew. Just ew.)

But that was this morning - let’s go back to last night! Our boy, America’s boy, is in trouble. Conspiracy theories abound, and are being headed by none other then Dick and Daniele. They have decided that Eric is behind the two stray votes. While they are correct, their reasoning is off the charts. They are tossing scenario after scenario and keep coming back to the fact they have a leak to Kail in the LNC (Um, yeah. Dustin.) and that Eric was in the HOH room with Jen once for ‘hours’ and came down faking a yawn and said he was sleeping, but Dick had heard them laughing. Thus, Eric is OBVIOUSLY in an alliance with Kail and Jen and is playing the rest of the LNC. Then they pull the biggest bonehead move of all bonehead moves - they tell Jessica.
Give me a minute to do the old forehead slap here.
Ok, that’s better.
So, Jessica listens to their theories - again, correct in parts (The Vote) but so wrong in theory that they’re even getting tripped up and confused. She promises not to tell anyone, and goes downstairs. And tells Dustin. Just quick parts, but tells him she does.
Meanwhile, Eric is already working on covering his tracks. THANK YOU AMERICA for not working WITH him but voting for eye candy over strategy! Not only that, but the reason we didn’t get a lot of the HOH on the feeds was due to banner planes. AGAIN. This time, some of the houseguests saw it - including our two conspiracy theorists, Dick and Daniele. The banner said “We *heart* nick Amber and Eric are liars, LNC=NH” (Late Night Crew = Nerd Herd (season 6)). Thus - theories abound, and for some reason that banner convinces them that they are right. (Again - they are, sorta.)
Eric is talking to people about this vote, and unfortunately kinda digging himself a hole with D/D - they figure since he’s working so hard to figure out who it is, that it’s clearly him. Naturally. Dick had promised to stay cool - but that didn’t exactly happen either, as he’s walking around looking crazed, as he does when he has a theory. He brings it up vaguely to a Dustin, Jameka, Jessica again.

After folks head to bed, Jessica tells Eric everything. Dustin joins, and she fills in his gaps too with what she’s been told. Eric’s not happy, of course, that this seems to be targeting him instead of Jen/Kail/Zach, who they want to get rid of as a group still. Jessica and Eric, make a final 2 pact (If they’re in final 3, they will take each other to the end) and talk about pulling Jen in with them. Jessica promises to let Dick/Dani still come to her with their stuff, and be Eric’s mole. Awwwww! Erissica forever!
There was one more late night meeting with Dick/Jessica, more of the same rehash, then everyone went to bed.
This morning - more of the same. There doesn’t seem to be a food comp today, so people are collecting in groups and chatting. Eric/Jameka - which was busted up by Dick, then Dani and Dustin, and got pretty heated. It eventually calmed down and was smoothed over, though Eric still maintains that their targets haven’t changed and to implode now is stupid, and Dick insists they need to find the leak to Kail. (HELLO! IT IS DUSTIN!) Dick also flips out as they ask why the votes couldn’t have been him or Dani. Way to go there, Dick. Get it under control buddy!
I expect the rest of today to be more of the same, as Nominations are this afternoon!
