Did ya notice? (Take two!)
So, what do you think would have happened if the votes had been tied, between the previous houseguest (Alex) and James? Had it come across as 4-4? Think maybe they would have given Ryan the chance to vote again as HOH?
I don’t think so. Wanna know why? Of COURSE you do!
I only noticed it when BBAD came on in my time zone, 2 hours after the competition was over. I thought I’d seen it before, but wasn’t sure. So here’s a picture…
You can’t see it too clearly, but there were spaces for NINE disco balls. Nine. Not 8. Nine would be all the houseguests including Ryan, and of course he couldn’t play. That means there was one extra… for what reason? (the placement of the red line there, on the far side, is where that space is, where the ball would have been.)
I think that had it been a tie, Both Alex and James would have competed in the HOH with the rest of them. Between the two of them, whoever dropped first would summarily be evicted again, leaving the other in the house to continue competing for HOH, with the safety of knowing they were back in the house.
At least, that’s how I would have done it. (Grin) How about you?

James is very adamant right now - He wants the pictures in his HOH room to be Natalie’s pictures, since she rocked it so hard, and he’s already seen pictures of his family. He’s asked the DR to make that happen. They said no… but even that he asked that for her, because it’s what she wanted and part of why she was fighting so hard, it just shows what a good guy James really is. Got a heart of gold, that boy!
