Food Comp, self-absorption, and Nominations, oh my!

Can’t be anything other then another episode of Big Brother 8! Are ya ready? Here we go!

We have another brief recap, reminding us where we are, and what happened on Thursday - Carol’s eviction, Jen driving everyone nuts, and then winning HoH - what will happen tonight?

Jessica is happy to have Carol gone, and Kail is content that her alliance did just want she wanted to do. Amber is crying in the Diary Room again, saying that God put her there for a reason, and Dustin is of course overjoyed. Dick knows that it’s beneficial for him as well, that Daniele is number one, and Amber is number two, for his picks to go to the end with. Jameka says that watching Carol leave made it more real.

Jen admits that it was her that was the single vote to keep Carol in the house. Then we get the reactions to Jen getting head of household - Joe: SERIOUSLY? Dick “****!” and Kail “I’m so HAPPY!” Joe goes off and bitches about the technicality of final question about the teacup. Dustin points out people are going to start kissing her butt. Dick says he won’t stress, though, because - and here we have it officially brought into the BB8 House “It is what it is.”

Oy. And we thought it was annoying on Project Runway!

Jen does admit that she didn’t even think about her teacup answer, but is pleased that she’s the only one safe. And Everyone else is worried, and they haven’t a clue what she’s going to do. Jen says she wasn’t planning on nominating Dick, despite all of their arguments. Dick says that’d be stupid, of course, because everyone knows he’s gunning for him. Daniele, Dustin and Amber are all nervous as well. “It’s going to be brutal.”

They make a drinking game, Zack, Dustin and Mike. Everytime she says “I” they have to drink. It’s a good thing it’s not alcohol else Zack would be VERY drunk. They do it directly in front of her face, and Dustin says “She has NO IDEA” - she talks about herself all the time. They finally have to stop, because their stomachs hurt!

It’s time to see Jen’s HoH room! How exciting! Dick refuses to join the festivities, which is no real surprise. Also not a surprise?

Jen hates her pictures! She even goes so far as to take on off of the wall. HOW freakin’ conceited and self-absorbed can one be? It’s astounding, seriously. She spends quite a bit of time complaining about them, too. A whole week with her in charge - man.

We come back to watch Nick and Mike lift weights together. Rawr. Dustin and Zach, of course, decide to make fun of them. And Kragnus and Magnus are born - with Arnold type accents, as they give commentary about the boys lifting - while everyone laughs. “Magnus has a W and W on each butt cheek” “What’s that stand for?” “WoW!”

The boys are good-natured about it, but can’t lift anymore because they’re laughing too hard.

Dani and Nick are talking and flirting, and Nick is sleeping on the floor by her bed. He says they’re flirting, but he doesn’t know where they’re at. Daniele agrees he’s the one she connects with the most. Nick says he gave her the key to his heart - it’s really the key to his suitcase, but It’s doing double duty. He also says it’s real, and he wants to get to know her more. Dani usually replies with “shut up.” or “your stupid.” But she smiles when she says it.

Kail and Jen talk about nominations, and how she might put up Evel or Daniele - it amuses me to no end that Kail won’t call Dick by his name, but has no problems calling him Evel. They talk briefly about Joe and Dustin, and Jen says Joe’s already kissing up. She says she’s planning on picking Nick up too, but isn’t sure who would go home, and it worries Kail - because Nick is part of her alliance, of course, and she helps her lean more towards Daniele.

Jen listens to her, but says she’s going to protect herself first.

Food Competition!
Divided into two teams, and it’s set up like a giant game show, “Name that Pie!” They will bid on how many bites they need to name the two secret ingredients that are in the pie. The red team is all the girls (except Jen) and Joe, and all the boys are on the blue team. There’s a lot of taunting going on, as they banter back and forth and try to Name that Pie!

The combinations are truly disgusting, too. Bacon and Banana (Jameka says “Not! a good pie.”) Potato and Pineapple. Sausage and Apple. So on, so forth. Yuuuuuuuck.

In the end, Daniele answers the tie-breaker wrong, and puts herself and her team on slop. It’s the second week for her, and Dick is clearly worried about that as she’s so thin already. He even says he’s sorry. Someone even throws a pie - at Jess I think - and the game is over.

On slop: Kail, Daniele, Jameka, Jessica, Amber and Joe.

We’re back, and it’s time for Eric to discover his task for this episode. Who is he supposed to try and get nominated? Jessica! He’s surprised and says the though never even crossed his mind, but he is up for it, because he is America’s player.

He goes up to talk to Jen, and digs right on in, and says that he got a weird vibe about Jessica and he thinks she’s up to something. Jen says she was surprised, but would think about it. Eric says in the DR later he felt it went well.

She talks to Nick, and says she’s “Not, like, stupid” and then confronts him about hanging out with Daniele, and he says he hangs out with a lot of people. She says it’s just “too much” and he doesn’t get it. He’s a flirt and that’s that. Jen says that she’s thinking of putting up some of the most negative people in the house.

Jen comes into a room where Dick and Mike were sleeping, and lays down and keeps talking and talking to Dick, and he is not happy at all about that. He says he hates her to the other houseguests and says that if his daughter was so self involved, he’d know that he made so many more mistakes then he has. Someone says “Start dating her!” and he says he’d rather put his dick in a meat-grinder.

And then he confronts Jen and calls her an inconsiderate bitch, and that she only talks about herself. He’s quite upset, and says he’ll make her the most miserable bitch in the house if she doesn’t start thinking of someone other then herself.

Time to vote for Eric’s next America’s Player task!
The Houseguests each have their quirks, and Eric is about to develop a case of sleep walking - into which Houseguests bed should he crawl into tonight?

BWAHAHAHAH! Ahem.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony!
Dick tells us that he won’t stress or freak out, he expects to be on the block several times. Nick says that he expects to be up, saying it’s all about jealousy. Joe is extremely nervous, and that Jen is an idiot, but not so much that she’d nominate him. Jen says that she thinks everyone has tried to influence her, but she’s always known what she was going to do. Jessica says she’s not scared, because she pretty much gets along with everyone. Jen says she doesn’t think theirs consequences for her nominations, That her nominees will have to realize they need to be more pleasant.

She calls them together and says she nominated people that bring the most negative energy to the house, and feels some people bring the rest of them down, and she’d “Just like to have them… not be here.”

The key order: Jameka, Kail, Mike, Zack, Nick, Jessica, Amber, Dustin, Eric, Joe -who was noticeably worried!

(Did anyone else notice that Dick was flipping Jen off during the whole key-pulling bit? Along the side of his face, but he was definitely flipping her off - he knew the score!)

Jen says she nominated Daniele and Dick for the same reason - that they both cause negative atmosphere, and Daniele’s negative sarcasm rubs off on everyone and thinks it’ll be a happier place without the negative vibes.

Daniele says the speech was an absolute bunch of crap, and Jen should watch out. Bring it on. Nick says that he feels Jen is jealous of anyone who takes the limelight away from her. Jen says she doesn’t care if Evel yells at her. And Dick says he won’t campaign against his daughter - his whole goal is to keep them both in the house. Eric apologizes to America, says he tried, but there’s still the veto - who knows?

Find out who wins the Veto - and if they use it - Tuesday!
