Fun in the sun time…
No, not me. It’s a good cloudy, rainy day here in the good ole AK. But it is sunny in California around the BB house - go figure! Good morning, ya’ll! (shush. it’s still morning here.) I have managed to drag my behind out of bed, only to find that the BB already kicked the houseguests out of theirs. We haven’t missed much, though - other then Dan’s delight with a net they were given that they can use to catch moths to feed Ted, the Spider.
His excitement dimmed a bit, however, when he discovered his basketball is missing. He also had to put sunscreen on himself, without Renny there to play mom and do his back. Poor Dan.
There has only been general chitchat this morning, as they do diary room sessions and talk about their lives and living in California, relationships and Ollie and April. And now it’s pool time for the Renegades.
Last night after I went to bed, there was a little bit more game talk between Memphis and Dan, as they consider who they want to go head to head against in the final three. As of the last conversation, they’re considering keeping Jerry. And I’m considering screaming that I can’t LISTEN to him anymore and NO! Last years endurance comp was a complete bomb because they kept Sheila. It was over before the feeds came back on. They need to consider OUR feelings in this, I think! Don’t you?
Right now, Jerry’s eating, Keesha is washing dishes, the boys are in the pool, everything is relatively calm, stress and game-talk free. It won’t last. It never does.
Jerry finishes eating, goes to work out in the doomroom with his bands. Memphis and Dan talk about the songs this morning - one of them was Renegades of Funk by Rage Against the Machine. They talk about other shows, like the Amazing Race, and how cool that would be to go on them - as the Renegades. They know they have one more competition, though to seal the deal.
Memphis: Have to bring our A game
Dan: As we say in football, big players make big plays in big games!
12:46pm - Inside lockdown. Dan left his key outside. Whoops.
Memphis complains about Jerry leaving his pans out: That’s ok, just leave it out for the maid service. Someone will take care of it. It’s ok, none of us live here, it’s your house.
There was a band or something outside - music could be heard, which is why they’re on inside lockdown. General chit-chat in the kitchen as they make something to eat, Jerry’s napping in the DoomRoom.
Keesha is in the DR - and Jerry’s joined the boys in the living room. They comment on one of the goldfish going nuts and attacking the other today, as well as being stuck inside on a Saturday Afternoon. And Dan doesn’t know who helped step in for Heath Ledgers last movie - He swears it was DeNiro. Uh, no. Collin Ferrel, Jude Law, and my main man Johnny Depp stepped in to not only finish the film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Pranassus, but they donated their entire earnings to Matilda, Heath’s little girl. (As if I didn’t love Johnny Depp enough.. talk about melty!)
Still general chitchattiness.
2pm: Keesha is finally out of the DR. Memphis escapes, Dan goes to join Keesha in the Spa, briefly before being called to the DR, hopefully to get his HOH key.
A brief bit of excitement with a Dan DR audio leak: ..a lot of trouble because that means the Renegade alliance is busted but…
We get to hear Memphis’ heartbeat for a while as he was laying in bed, but now he and Dan are off to play chess, after a brief moment to try to pick out Keesha’s nail color.
I know. I can hardly stand the excitement either! Wait until there’s just two of them alone for 5 days… (grin)
In the hippie room, Dan is putting the number 21 on his Taken Shirt, using tape from his HOH laundry packages. It’s his and Monica’s 21 month anniversary today. Happy Anniversary Dan and Monica!
A little bit of Game time in the HOH room:
Dan: I’m telling you, you saw what they did with the POV, gave him a fighting chance…
Memphis: it’s like physical, willpower, questions. Questions last?
Dan: They’re like, what did this houseguest say… they’re gonna give him a shot.
Memphis: Well, we just have to see what order it goes in, every scenario possible. If it’s willpower first one, mental.. you know what you mean?
Dan: We haven’ had a physical endurance challenge.. we’ve had two this whole season.
Memphis: It’s coming man, that’s for sure.
Memphis: It matters what order it comes in.
Dan: It always aired the major endurance first. That boogie board one? Something like that… I didn’t think that was hard as season 8, jumping over the rabbit? Season 9 looked easy. You never know.
Dan: the deal would have to come if I won the first heat.
Memphis: yeah, or…
Dan: if I fall and it’s you or Jerry
Memphis: We might not have an opportunity to do that, where it’s the only one when we’re both standing there.
Dan: The second one is usually timed..
Memphis: we’d beat him anyway. We’re gonna have to be on our A game, period. Hopefully we win both heats
Dan: Then it doesn’t matter
Memphis: then it’s a wrap.
Dan: that kinda sucked there man, if your in the house and 2 or 3 hang out, and you’re the one left out.
Memphis: It could have been us, like if it was April, Ollie.. how bad would it suck if it was like April, Ollie and you? You’d be completely alone. I didn’t even talk to them while they were here. Then, if you won, I wouldn’t wanna pick either one of their asses, know what I mean? Dude, we just have to both win heats. Period, no questions asked.
Dan: If we decide to keep Jerry, can you get the 4 grand from him?
Memphis: I was thinking of that - what could I say to him.. stay or go, I need the four grand. If I threaten him again? And he didn’t take it?
Dan: Be like.. I want to keep you hear, keep you to the end, I need an insurance policy. Hate to come this far without winning anything… like 4 grand is gonna make a difference.
Memphis: can go to Vegas on that…
Dan: if he doesn’t give it up… if he gives you like 2 grand..
Memphis: yeah, and then what’s the point..
Dan: but dude, if your gonna skin the cat, might as well skin him the whole way.
Memphis: I’ll feel him out, see what he could do.
Dan: talk about buying a ring for Ashley. He’s never once brought it up in conversation…
Memphis: He probably thinks no one knows he has it. I think they promised not to say anything
Dan: there was like 7 people in the room!
Memphis: Yeah, I said something and they were like, your not supposed to know that.
Memphis: gonna make him sweat a bit more.
Dan: Have to make sure it’s the right decision, too, you know?
Memphis: I know. For every challenge, I mean, he knows the questions? But he’s not quick to answer them.
Dan: Eliminator, he never buzzed in, but in the headlines…
Memphis: yeah..
Dan; all the flip ones he did terrible on. Burned in the alien one…
Memphis: all the booths, he didn’t do…
Dan: Just the last one, and last night he didn’t do well. Then you have Keesha. Dropped out of the vine, won the flower veto on default, the alien HOH she got 2 right, the headlines she came up HUGE, and that’s it. She didn’t do well in the Onion, did very well in the Space one.
Memphis: How did she let Jerry beat her in the onion one… I didn’t understand, Jerry beat you?
Dan: she put some in the prize one… the longer it went she got worn out or frustrated. Jerry never stopped, the whole time. He wasn’t moving fast, he never stopped.
Memphis: it blue me away..
Dan: she got banged up a little bit too. Then the license plate one, she did very well in that.
Memphis: She’s just a faster thinker. I think they’re even in thought process, smartness, but he’s gonna be a little slower… even if it’s like line up this houseguest, it’s going to take him longer even if he knows them.
Dan: it’s just scary - here’s the other thing too, it might not make a difference, or it might make a huge difference, you never know. This is the first time I haven’t been at ease… this is it man, it comes down to this last decision.
Memphis: there’s a lot more riding on this one.
Memphis: trying to think if there’s a way to psych him out… What are you thinking? I mean, I think Jerry is the easiest person to beat
Dan: Yeah, but because we think that way, I can see it blowing up in our face. Things don’t always work out how you think.
Memphis: Yeah, I know.
Dan: Graveyard, Keesha didn’t do well, Jerry did. Honeybear, Jerry was terrible.
Memphis: anything half physical he’ll be horrible at. He stood on the wall less then 35 minutes. The vine? 10 minutes at the most. Last night? he got up five steps, that’s it. We’d have to hope both are some kind of moving something… but Keesha, she’s a mess, dude.
Dan: if it’s 2 to 1.. the final HOH competition and we lose to Jerry, we don’t deserve to be in the final two. That’s basically the way you gotta look at it.
Memphis: yeah.
Memphis: He’s freaking out so bad…
Dan: Dude, he hasn’t cooked since week one! Keesha cam…
Memphis: I just wonder if there gonna be back to back.
Dan: not after a long endurance.
Memphis: I’m just thinking like, if we have a day between each one, we’d know who one first, second. Unless they do the second and the final in the same day.
Dan: I can see that, we’d need to recover from the first one. Look at history, last year they took the older woman and she fell out of the endurance.
Memphis: Keesha, Jerry going head to head, who would win?
Dan: if everyone was in the house, who would you want to go with?
Memphis: Everyone,I’d still pick Jerry. If we lose to him, we deserve to lose. I cannot belive this is upon us.
Memphis: that’s why this game is so unpredictable, like some of the things that seem like a good idea, weren’t. Like we’d have to deal with Renny.
Dan: He has not cooked, since week one. (watching Jerry set the table)
Memphis: and he cooked the same thing he did then. Maybe that’s all he can cook. We just got to make it to the last one. Then it’d be the most hilarious…
Dan: We could like try to get one answer right, that’s it.
Memphis: doesn’t he know that’s gonna be awkward as hell, all of us sitting down there?
Dan: I can see Keesha not eating
Memphis: she never does… He’s got the salt! got that salt ready to go!
Dan: He’s looking for you, even though he knows your up here…
Memphis: oh man…
Dan: there’s nothing we should work ourselves over. We got ourselves to this point, keep doing what we do.
Memphis: You know how worked up Ashley and Monica will be watching us compete?
Dan: Monica is a wreck at football games and I’m not even playing! We just got to put ourselves in a position we don’t have to win the third heat
Memphis: Ashley is wigging out…
Dan: She was when you won the car, I bet! Alright, what do YOU think the bluebook is on that car?
Memphis: maybe 20. MAYBE.
Dan: thing with him, I never know what his ulterior motives are.
Back to trying to figure out timetables… they still don’t know that there’s a live show on Tuesday.
5:05 PM - While waiting for Jerry to finish dinner, Keesha is curling her hair, and our Renegades are trying to figure out personalized license plates for after. RNGADE.
Memphis: I can’t believe I haven’t won an HOH member.
Dan: And you’ve been up three times. I put you up twice. Your own alliance member. (they laugh) That’s the only thing that hasn’t exposed us.
Jerry whistles to get their attention, and they head down for dinner. General chitchat. Dan/Keesha cleaned up, Jerry is on the couch outside, and Memphis is on the hammock since they’ve finally been let outside once more.
Keesha: Did Memphis talk to you? About the Veto?
Dan: no..
Keesha; He’s not gonna change his mind is he?
Dan: No.
Keesha: you’re not too encouraging there..
Dan: Hey, your the one who got all the votes for him to stay…
Keesha: You would tell me if Memphis wasn’t keeping me, right?
Dan: of course, I’ve always been honest with you. I’d tell you.
Keesha: I just don’t want to be caught off guard, thinking I’m safe and i’m not.
Dan: if it comes up, you obviously know who I’d be fighting for, for you. It’s pretty much understood that Jerry is going
Then he goes out to Memphis and mocks her ‘you would tell me right’ then says of course with a smile
Memphis: I’m sure she’s freaking out.
Inside:
Memphis: i had an idea - we’re still going to Vegas, no matter what, but.. you know, we’ll need like two days, then put you up in the hotel by my house and drive to Vegas for 2 days.
Dan: only us - the four!
Memphis: yup, hop into the Camaro…
Dan to DR, but only briefly. Now Dan/Memphis are in the pool, Jerry and Keesha on the outside couches. WHIRLPOOL!

After DR Dan: I found out a little bit… (presumably about his trip)
Fish. HArumph.
Dan: It’s not that i wasn’t excited before? Now its like…
Fish.
General chit-chat now. Dan/Memphis are outside, not sure where Jerry is - ah, he just joined on the couch, and Keesha is napping.
A moment ago, though, Memphis said that the ride in the helicopter to a private beach is going to be nuts - just the ride alone is nuts! That must be the extra part that Dan found out.
Jerry/Memphis outside alone
Jerry: When we get a chance, I want to talk to you a little bit, about things that might be the final.
Memphis: We have time, we’ll talk.
Jerry: last season, they had that holding on to a rope, and she fell off. Then they had… there were the questions, Ryan won 2 of the 3, and picked Adam over SHeila. WIll have one stamina, and one that’s memory. I have a pretty good memory and scenarios. You’re my only game, you know that. I want to help you. If there’s anything they said I said, I’ll tell you, won’t hide a damn thing and won’t waver from the commitment. After you picked him, I questioned to see where their mindsets were. There was a scenario that you should know about that would have had your ass out of here when I was hoh. I was set up for you to leave if Dan won the veto… those scenarios existed, all I care about is that you know you can trust me 100%. I have no other game, nor do I want too, I’m not even talking to them. I won’t screw you, I make it to final three? I’ll help you as much as I can to win the sunnofabitch..
Memphis: (yeah’s in all the appropriate places) We’ll talk, about it, sure.
Jerry: What we’re not gonna know what game chances he’s gonna bring back with him. The question is, will it give him an advantage? You’d think if you won something it’d benefit you, you know?
Memphis: I know what your saying, but I don’t think it’d benefit him winning, I don’t think they’d do that, know waht I mean?
Jerry: I don’t think so either, but I don’t see someone else coming back.
Memphis: that’s not gonna happen, they said the next one is the last one.
Jerry; and the last POV… said that yesterday.
back to general chitchat, while Dan in HOH takes care of his feet. Ew.
Jerry: Somehow if I don’t make it to the final 3, I’m gonna leave you that thing (the jacket) and you can send it to me later. They might do a water comp.
Memphis: Who knows what they’ll do.
general chitchat - and Memphis goes to check his laundry. The boys briefly consider messing with the sleeping Keesha, but decide to let her sleep a little longer.
Dan: What’s the Colonel doing? Looking for his marbles?
Silence in the house - Dan is falling asleep on the living room couch, Jerry is on the other one, Memphis is sprawled out in the spa. Keesha in bed. Everytime Dan seems to have dropped off, Jerry starts talking again. baseball is the subject currently. Now inventions, the depression.
Dan: Were you friends with Alexander Graham Bell?
Jerry: you are so bad! You’re a brat!
BB: Did you know that 7 inch records were typically played at 45 rpm?
Dan: haven’t had one of those in a while, huh?
Dan went to get something to drink (heard the water) leaving Jerry on the couch. He’s off camera. Silence falls once again. Until Jerry mimics the last BB fact. Then quiet again.
8:30 Keesha is alive!
Dan: in a while will you shave my neck for me? please?
Keesha: just what I always wanted to do, Daaaaaaaaan!
Memphis goes to take care of his laundry, Dan lays on the couch outside, Keesha joins. Dan wants her to scream as loud as she can, and she won’t. Memphis hopes tehy can see Keesha drink a whole bottle of wine..
Keesha: not a whole bottle! Three glasses and I’ll be fine.
Dan: Keesha, keesha, keesha!
Memphis: get some entertainment up in here!
Keesha: whatever, you’re entertainment too!
Dan: you lil trucker!
He’s still trying to get Keesha to shave his neck. He asks Memphis, says he’d do it but can’t see it.
They’re feeding Ted the Spider again. Dan catches a big moth in the pool net, and teases Keesha with it. She squeals like a girl. She wants him to let it go - and he says ok, and opens the net next to her.
Keesha: please DON’T DAN! You little fuckin shit!
She throws a pillow at him, and he makes her say she’s sorry so that he doesn’t put the moth on her.
Keesha: DAN! I hate you sometimes!
And she goes inside as they search for smaller moths. To complain to Jerry, while she watches them through the door. She goes back out to be sure that he let it go.
Keesha: listen, Jerry was all “I could have caught that an hour ago!”
Dan: leave him alone, he’s sleeping!
Memphis: We should put that thing on a leash!
Dan: or in Keesha’s bed..
Keesha: what? Is he dead?
Dan: nope.
Keesha; I thought they were gonna tell you more about your trip!
Dan: They did. 10:45. They recommend I wear my swimsuit and bring a change of clothes.
Memphis goes in to eat, Jerry complains about itching on his arms, and Dan searches for something small enough to feed Debbie, the smaller spider. Dan follows Keesha’s instructions to put lotion then socks on to protect his freshly pumiced feet. Memphis eats roast beef, Jerry goes to put lotion on his itch, and Keesha remains outside once again.
Jerry and Keesha share a chuckle at the boys looking for the tweezers so they don’t have to touch the bugs.
Jerry: I’m ready to go home.
9pm - Memphis/Jerry outside, and Dan/Keesha go over the facts BB has been telling them, depressed by the lack of alcohol. Memphis comes back inside.
Memphis: thanks a lot, ass.
(they left him with Jerry agian. heh.)
Keesha: I’m so bored I don’t even mind sitting with Jerry.
Memphis: i can’t believe you’re leaving tomorrow, it’s surreal.
Dan: I know, its gonna be weird
Memphis: you’re gonna freak seeing the door open..
Dan: fight or flight, fight or flight..
Memphis: Jerry still thinks… he said that your bringing someone back or something.
Keesha: He said the same thing to me.
Memphis: He’s sure your bringing someone back. I’m like Jerry….
Dan; He’s crazy. I wanna bring something back to like, put on his bed.
Memphis: 10 lbs of sand.
Dan; It’ll be cool if I can bring stuff back for you guys..
Memphis: Might be going to Catalina..
Keesha: by helicopter, could be
Dan: I’m more excited about that.. well, you know how much I’m in the pool, I’ll be in the ocean..
Keesha: just be careful. Don’t get eaten by a shark.
Dan: I’ll be by myself, too..
Keesha: just to see something else, instead of our faces..
Dan: I’m kinda scared about it.. (laughs)
Memphis: all girls alliance!
Keesha: what?
Dan: just talking about Jerry’s many theories.
memphis: I hope they put it all on tape
Keesha He said he’s ready to go home. I was like waht happened?never heard him say that..
Dan: it’s gotta be tough, I give him credit… know what I mean?
Keesha: same as me! I have basically a husband at home!
Memphis: you got a husband at home?
Keesha: I live with him, like you have a wife!
Dan offers tog et something for her if she’ll shave his neck, she says no. Memphis wants to listen to Dan’s cd again.
Dan: OK, let’s go. We’ll leave Keesha down here by herself
Memphis: Ok.
Keesha: I hate you.
Dan; you know they give you protection in the bathroom in hoh?
Memphis: you mean rubbers?
Dan: I wasn’t gonna SAY that…
Keesha: yeah..
Memphis: you think April and Ollie…
Dan: You coming up?
Keesha: no.
Dan: come on keeeeeeesha!
Keesha: he’s listening to music!
Dan: we can make fun of him…
Dan/Memphis in HOH, Jerry outside, Keesha in the kitchen - then she joins Jerry.
Memphis: there’s just so much time till thursday? If we get him started now, he’ll never stop!
Dan: it’s better for your sanity.

Keesha: I’m sure they have..

Memphis: you think she thinks something is up?
Dan: I think she’s like not 100%, just 90% like last week. I told you waht she asked, if we’d tell her and I told her yeah, but I didn’t think it would happen
Memphis: it’s gonna suck, but what are you gonna do…
Dan: obviously you have to tell her before, not spring it on her. We owe it to her to let her know if that’s the way it’s gonna go.
Memphis: I know, I think the same thing
Dan; And she’ll want to know why, we’ll have to deal with a crying girl
Memphis: I don’t worry about that, I’ve made many a woman cry.. I’m a heartbreaker what can I say, call me the heartbreak kid…
Dan: what’s the worse way you broke up with a girl?
Memphis: stopped calling her.
Dan: Seriously? I expected worse from you.
Keesha: omg Jerry it’s saturday night!
Jerry: and you’re stuck with a 75 year old man, and NO BOOZE! It’d be different if he was 75 and rich and taking you out….
Memphis: I think I’m gonna like, tell her right before.
Dan: on thursday?
Memphis: I have to sleep right next to her.
Dan: It’s still a long week, a lot can change.
Memphis: yeah, that’s why I’m gonna talk to him later too.
Dan: Thought about the 4 grand? Once again he gets another. free. week.
Memphis: he’s gotta bring it up, know what I mean? I’ll see what i can do. Try to get him to sneak it to me or soemthing. I’ll be like, put it in my third drawer down. If it’s in there by thursday, you got a deal. If not, no deal.
(laughter)
Dan: it’s a pretty cheap prize for final three, you know?
Dan: it’s not gonna be easy dude. We’re gonna have to win it. It’s gonna be a very even playing field.
Memphis: yeah. I don’t expect it to be easy. What did that thing say?
Dan: a 7 inch record typically runs at 45 rpm…
they go over the sayings again.
Jerry: Where’s night James? He’s nice to us! Is he here tonight? No, he has the weekend off. Who do WE have…
Dan: You think keesha was pissed I won HOH?
Memphis: no, I mean I’m sure she was mad she didn’t win…
Dan: Yeah…
Alcohol! 3 beers and a bottle of wine. Keesha is on her way to the DR, she asks that he not take it out yet, wait for her. Dan waves the beer in front of the spy cam so Memphis can see.
Dan: it’s so weird. We’re so excited over ONE BEER each.
They chat about all the miles of footage that BB has for the season.
Dan: at least one of us will win some money.
Memphis: let’s make it where we both win some money!
Dan: What if she came out and we’d downed all the wine…
Dan/Memphis back to the HOH room with Dan’s HOH beer. They put Keesha’s wine in the freezer. Jerry looks to be asleep on the couch outside. They catch Keesha to tell her where her wine is, and she brings Jerry a beer.
Keesha: You keep saying I’m gonna drink this whole bottle! People are entertained by this!
Memphis is talking about the 2 story beer bong.
Dan: Keesha? Is he gonna come up here?
Keesha: He might… We can go downstairs…
Memphis: no!
Keesha: I feel bad for him, it sucks being alone in himself.
Dan: I do too - if he comes up here we’ll say we’re just going down
Memphis: god i’m an asshole.
Dan: How’s it feel not to have to guzzle your wine, worry about someone elses mouth on it?
Keesha: it’s nice! I felt like before I had to rush just to get some! I’m gonna feel pretty good in about a glass.
Memphis: can you imagine being in the Jury house with them fighting over the wine?
Keesha: Libra won’t drink the red. Michelle will drink anything. Libra was cool, though she could be annoying. I’d rather be around here then some people.
Memphis: I agree.
Jerry’s out of the DR.
Keesha: He’s being nice to me. Really nice. When he’s not talking about the game, he can be cool.
Memphis: When we were in the hot tub, he was like grilling me! I was like, what was he staring at me like that for?
Dan: Deal is, you get the whole bottle. You deserve it!
Memphis: you do!
Dan: you had a hard week last week!
Keesha: and I’m here with the same situation thank you very much!
Dan: I got the same result! put up Memphis and Jerry, Memphis wins and comes off. This time, put up Memphis and Jerry, and Memphis wins and takes himself off.
They all will head down, as soon as the boys finish their HOH beers. Dan doesn’t wanna feel bad for not offering - they turned off the monitor too, because he feels bad.
Dan: Dude, I know you don’t have a soul, but man…
Memphis chuckles.
They talk about missing the house when they go, the people more then the situation, the little things like sitting on the couch, quietly, first thing in the morning with coffee and juice, etc. They go downstairs to join Jerry. Good kids.
Dan: should I bring one down for him?
Keesha: I would
Memphis: I wouldn’t.
Dan: I KNOW you wouldn’t….
He does.
Keesha: Jerry you look a little bored!
Jerry: you’d be bored too if you were all alone when the beer came!
Dan: I’ll upgrade ya, Jerry!
Jerry: Put it in the fridge for a while and I will. that’s good beer!
Everyone heads outside - and general commentary about beer.
Up to HOH to refresh the drinks, and talking about how hard it’ll be to come back to the house. Dan’s excited about the ocean and helicopter ride. Keesha isn’t sure she’d even wanna go. They head down to rejoin Jerry.
Dan: I wonder what Jerry thinks we just did!

They’re thinking they can beat Jerry easily, and Keesha sometimes pulls out a win. I’m hoping that between now and Tuesday, Jerry totally drives them off their rocker. They know they can outlast him in endurance easily. They figure they can beat him in the second part physical/puzzle pretty easily too. And then it’d be the two of them against one another in the final part, and that doesn’t matter who wins, they’ll take each other.
Against Keesha - they have her in endurance, depending on how difficult it is. The physical one/puzzle, she could pull out a win, though they typically beat her in those kinds of things too - it’s just more of a crapshoot. If she got to the last one, it’s questions, and while she bombed the past HOH, she could do really well in it.
What they don’t think of - or know, or remember - are the questions at the end are a crapshoot more than others, because it’s all based on the Jury and what they said. Things like “My biggest lie in the house was… a or b.” Keesha could pull out a win there too. Jerry might even be able too. Dan? Definitely. He knows the houseguests better then anyone left.
I really don’t think it matters who they bring to the final three - I see them making final two. Only problem comes in us having to listen to Jerry for the next five days. Don’t wanna! Harumph. And I want a better endurance comp then last time.
We shall see. I’m hoping that Dan, in getting to talk to MIchelle on his trip, will get a better feel for the Jury and if it’d be better to send Keesha or Jerry there for damage control. If Keesha goes there pissed, it could be bad for them - although they don’t really care which of them wins, they’d both be happy with 2nd place too.
I dunno. *L* I see their reasoning for both… they should just do what I want. Dammit. I work hard enough for them, right? They should do this one little thing for me!

Oh - and this is the very reason Dan threw last nights POV to Memphis too - If they decide to evict Keesha, it’s on Memphis’ hands, not Dan’s. That gives him a slight leg up in the Jury.

They may need to consider that Jerry can get a lot of the votes of the jury house while most of the jury dislikes Keesha. Also, they should realize most of us in the real world can’t tolerate any more of Jerry and his booger picking nonsense!

For whatever reason, I see bringing Jerry to the end blowing up in their face. I dunno and would hope not. It worked last year and that may be the reason I fear it won’t this year. I really don’t believe there is a clear cut answer, which I kinda like.
Keesha is extremely homesick and I think that is weighing her down in these comps. Or she may be playing Dan’s “weak player” role, because “i’m not dumb you know?” She has said that alot this year.
Loyalty is one of my traits and I would take Keesha. And discussed earlier was “Kessha’s safety” within the deal with Ollie. Why didn’t Dan predict Memphis? To keep the Renegades a secret? He was concerned Memphis heard about Keesha’s safety and made sure with her that she told no one.
Dan just hasn’t convinced me he is going to keep his word. But, I haven’t seen the feeds all day, so I need to change that.
Lessa, regardless of who the Final 3 are in the endurance competion, I don’t see how it will equate with Season 8. I am not expecting to be concerned about its outcome other than making certain Dan wins it.
I really have never seen Jerry pick his nose.

I agree with all of you! I am sorely disappointed with Dan most of all. He and Memphis can beat both Keesha and Jeery in the comps. The only difference in who they evict now lies in integrity. Keesha kept both of their games alive, and that’s how they will repay her? I will be rooting for Jeery all the way.
Does anyone else think that Dan’s true colors have come out since he stopped playing the “weak” game? He has stopped worrying about his job all of a sudden. All of a sudden he lost his conscience.

Nah, these guys actually played the game from day one, unlike Adam and Ryan, who let their partners and other people do it for them. I give the renegades mad props for how they’ve played the game, even if I don’t like the idea of 5 more days of Jerry.
It is a good strategic move - our emotions are kinda coloring it, because we’re tired of Jerry. And you gotta hand it to them, they’ve played strategically all the while.

Adam’s and Ryan’s strategies were to lie low and throw comps in the beginning just like Memphis and Dan. Memphis and Adam did so less but along the same lines.
I don’t see the difference between keeping Keesha or Jerry strategically. Keesha bombed the endurance and has not been in the mind set to win comps since she won the last HOH.
On the other hand. it might be kinder to let her go now.
In conclusion, I don’t know what the hell I’m saying! haha

Lessa, I totally agree about them playing the game well thoughout. It just irks me no end that now it seems they’re being pissy about Keesha after she has been there for them for most, if not all, of the way. She deserves to be treated with the same respect they’ve been showing to her all along — if they decide their chances are better with Jerry. So be it (ugh), but don’t treat Keesha like she’s nothing but a used up tissue now…geez I’m just gonna pipe down about it for awhile, because I’m still hoping they will do the right thing by Keesha.

They’ve agreed to tell her when they make their final decision - I think that they’re playing it this way because they haven’t actually decided 100% yet, and they know they have until Monday (at least) for the meeting, and think they have until Thursday to decide. They’re leaving their options open.

Hi Lessa, so nice to be here with everyone. I too am disappointed in Dan. I have been a fan of his since early on. He and Memphis have probably got as good a chance of beating Keesha as Jeery. I was very unhappy to hear Dan mock her, after how hard she has worked on his behalf. I think his success so far has gone to his head. D M need to realize that AGP has an agenda which is called Jeery wins! Final comps may put him on more of a level playing field they need to dump the nasty old creep now. keesha should be rewarded for her loyalty by going to F3. I think she has really taken as much as she can and will not be much of a competitor now, she needs her JJ and Gizmo. However I would really like to see her walk away with it all. Wouldn’t it be ironic if Dan decided he wanted to keep Keesha and Memphis decided to take Jeery instead. Then Memphis won final HOH and took Jeery to final 2 instead after Dan threw him the POV last night. I really am a Dan fan Too, but….

Jadaz - the group in there have been nicer to Jerry then anyone, especially Keesha. Jerry repays that by being more vile then anyone in the house, especally about Keesha. It’s not easy to watch, or forgive. Respecting your elders can only take you so far, both Dan and Keesha have talked about that and how difficult it is to try and continue to be nice to him when he treats them like shit.

I’m just glad that the AP was only a week - one thing it did do was make him play the game on a more open level, that was just a joy to watch. I love to watch ANYONE really play the game, and remember it IS a game, about strategy and getting to the end. Of everyone left in the house, I think Dan has done that the best, with memphis a close second.
The reason I put Memphis second though, is that Dan went one step farther, and has really gotten to know each and every houseguest that would talk to him. Even when refuted, he made the effort.

roaritoe - I agree about Keesha. I think Keesha is too gentle a soul to be playing this game. Renny in her HC interview said Keesha has a “game face”. I don’t see that at all but then again I’m not actually in the house.
I found it most interesting when both Dan and Memphis sated that they haven’t cried in years. They both have the mentalities to win a cut throat game like BB.

Rosa, I understand, but I think outside of the game, Dan is likely the most honest and trustworthy of the lot. He understands it’s a game more then say, oh, “everyone loves me!” April or “I’ll avenge you!” Michelle. *chuckles*
And Dan’s personal talks with each houseguest are the most genuine i’ve seen in all the years I’ve watched BB. I believe he honestly wanted to get to know everyone on a personal, rather then game, level. Unfortunately folks tend to see that as a worse betrayal when he goes into game mode.

As much as I grew to despise Jeery because of horrible crap he’s said, and things he’s done, the final straw with me was when he was talking to Ollie in the 50’s room one night, when Keesha was briefly there making small talk. Then, as soon as she left, he acted like an ass to Ollie saying he doesn’t need her - oh, I won’t even say it - I swear if I were there, someone would have had to have held me back from slapping him in the face, I don’t care how old that effer is!

I think the comps have had smaller concessions made then it might appear - like the earthquake, the ledge was larger then I’d expected it to be to stand on? But they also tipped it at an angle that was far more then I expected. The vines, they got to sit there - but the slamming was something else, all together. *L*
The POVs have been on par with the rest of the seasons though. Some even tougher - like the honey.

Everyone is talking about being disappointed in the boys, I am disappointed in Keesha! Here is why, she has this in-the-bag! Instead of keeping her head in the game she is feeling sorry for herself and moping.
All she has to do is guarantee Memphis final two with her. Memphis can beat her in the final two, and not Jerry. Memphis can beat her at an endurance comp too. All she needs to do is show him he is guaranteed the 500k with either her or Dan in the final two, and not with Jerry. If she does that she is f3. Call him on his alliance with Dan, and tell him she doesn’t care, cause either way he gets f2.
Uuuugh!!!! A little irritated with her. She is a thinker, she setup getting Jesse out of the house. She can do this, she just needs to get her head out of her @ss!!!!

Hi Deidre! Yup, let’s just say I almost fell out of my bed when he used the p word. That creep! It was even worse for me, because I was watching it on the tv on BBAD. I don’t know why, but everything seems more real to me when I watch it on tv instead of my laptop. That’s why I usually watch BBAD or DVR it.
And, you know, Jeery KNEW that BBAD was still on! He looked right at the camera and talked to it! He said, oh, go away so I can talk dirty. Then, he looked at the camera and smirked, I’m just a nice little old man. I swear, I detest him even more for that.
He’s a filthy S.O.B., probably has been his whole life. But, now that he’s older, he thinks he can get away with it by pretending to be a nice little old man. I’m
positive he duped AGP when he was going through casting. That’s why they continue to give him good edits. They didn’t want this version of Jeery - they thought they cast that retired former marine, nice old guy. He’s such a slimeball!

One thing to remember - Dan has this trip, where presumably he’ll get to talk toMichelle. this will give him a good idea on where the Jury is at, and possibly make it worth while to push harder for Keesha to stay, and maybe even to the final 2. So there is still hope, depending on what tidbits he gets from Michelle tomorrow about the thought processes of the Jury.

Yup, Lessa. Well, I’ve been here before you know, and so have some others. But Carolyn is having a really bad day with Hurricane Ivan headed her way. She needed a break, so she went to bed, we hope. Cindy, Weather here seems to have let up, Luckily AC Electric was on the ball and got power back real quick, only 4hrs. Been blowing a bit heavy rain but nothing as bad as a big noreaster. seems to have mostly passed now. My mom and family on the Cape always lose power several times a year so have generators ready.

Is there anyone else who has had a suspicion that with the game considerations that both Dan and Memphis are working with on the F3, that they would abandon each other in F2?
Afterall, if they are concerned about who they could beat to get to F2, why wouldnt they be as concerned about who they could beat to get to the $500K? And take the weakest opponent, either Keesha or Jeery, to F2.
If they dont I feel they are acting much like Ryan did last year when he took Adam to F2 who stomped his butt. I may start thinking of them as Ryan, Jr and Ryan, II.

Divr - maybe, but I think it’s more that they’re taking it one step at a time. They have to get through the final three to make it at final two, ya know? And they’re pretty loyal to each other. They figure that against each other they have an equal chance, where against Jerry or Keesha, the deck is stacked more against both of them.

Genie, I have been disgusted about the sleeveless shirts since the beginning. He forgets he is a 75 yr old man, and they dont wear sleeveless shirts unless they have a real bad complex.

Well, I never mentioned this before, but my Dad was sort of around Jeery’s age. He passed away three years ago at 74, so he would be 77 now. He was also a Marine in the Korean war. If he were here, I would ask him if he knew this creep, lol.
Btw, he never was like Jeery about being a former Marine. We knew about it, but it wasn’t a huge part of his identity. Part of me thinks that Jeery got all the Marines shirts and hats just for BB, like it’s part of his shtick, if you know what I mean. You know, just like the fake little old man crap.
So, anyway, of course my father was NOTHING like Jeery and would never do the things Jeery does, or say that crap that he does. But, he also would never dress like that. I don’t think I ever even saw him in a tank top. Mind you, he never dressed like an old fart. In fact, he loved to shop and had a ton more clothes than my mother! But, if he were in the BB house, he would be wearing jeans or shorts with a regular normal tshirt with sleeves.

Hey Samantha, my Dad is 76 and lives with me. He was in war..though Navy pilot. No, doesn’t talk about it. He thinks Jerry is jerk and can’t believe how he talks about women. Yes, he has heard the feeds. My dad and I are very close and open so we talk about all kinds of things…long story, but he wasn’t really around when I was growing up so kind of weird. I was laughing at Memphis and Dan ridiculing Jerry last night. Tonight, watching them try to “roll” him for his 4K is not to my liking. And Memphis said a few minutes later he would wait until “Thursday” to tell Keesha of his voting if it goes that way. I imagine they know something will be up when there is no Veto meeting Monday morning.
I think Dan and Memphis have both played a great game and it IS JUST A GAME. But, I am seeing an ugly side that isn’t enjoyable to watch. The object is to win, but it’s not to mock or to try to cash in for something they are going to do anyways. This is their second attempt at the latter and Dan was highly involved in the first ocassion as well.
Lessa, you know how I feel about Dan. But, I’m losing that feeling.

Lesa its a real problem when I get a rhyme going round and round in my brain as I am trying to go to sleep. I have to get up stick it on a notepad in the laptop, or it keeps me awake worrying I will forget it. This can go on for ages, even when I try to think of something else. Thats why the Final Days of the Fab 4 was so long, it just ran away with itsself. It was just supposed to be part 2 of The Shortlived Reign of the Fab 4 butit took on a life of its own.

He also trie too hard to make people he has little money, like the bit about the sweaters(which I think is baloney or at least overblown), but he has plenty of money to gamble,bars etc. I think the coming on BBhas nothing to do with the money it is ego and superiority, and a bid for attention. It will give him major bragging rights in his mind.

Wow! My friends who brought me there to get a poster, went back and got another set autographed for my son (he’s 16 and obsessed. *L*) and they know all these famous people and I was just like… uh….
I mean, I met Baddabing Betty from TopChef 2? 3? with them, and was speechless. I mean, she COOKED me LUNCH… and All I could stammer was “omghi!”

Hi all.
Just popping in to tell Lessa I got my sticker today. And to add my hope that the boys take Keesha to the final three. I know they think Jerry is an easier person to beat in the final comps but I’m just sick to death of looking at him, let alone listening to him.
And Lessa, if the posts keep going like this, you’ll beat your old record even if you only have a few more shows to work with.

Memphis is so stupid to keep jerry. If he keeps kessha he will defenitly make final 2 because Dan will pick him and so would kessha. If jerry has to chosse i think he will take dan only because he will think that the jury hates him because of his lies and the dirty games he played with mich/april/ollie
Memphis thinks it will be easier to beat jerry but kessha will to. Jerry always puts up a decent fight most of the time kessha bombs alot of things and sometimes does good but memphis needs to look at weather the renagades dont win and dont have the option to chosse the F 2… kessha will tke memphis im 95%sure!!
They can not let jerry make final 3 if he wins this game this will be the worse season ever. This season went very quick and jerry sucks so bad if he stays this season still sucks. This is just so bad for the game and i think if jerry does stay then the comps will be made alittle easier so that all 3 competators memp dan and jerry all have an equal chance like the HOH when jerry won

The Renegades are counting their branding stock before it hatches. Their popularity just took a nosedive with the way they’re considering dumping Keesha. I was such a strong Dan fan, but if he allows Memphis to do this to Keesha, my heart won’t be in rooting for him any more. Dan should have won the POV instead of throwing it, then he couldn’t have dumped Keesha like Memphis wants to do. Memphis is a cold hearted egotist who can’t stop staring at his own boobs. The money and dreams of fame are apparently replacing Dan’s integrity and good heart. Disappointing…I thought I might get an ending I wanted for once, but now I don’t think so. I hope the Renegades get so blindsided by Tuesday’s show that they have no choice but to keep Keesha.
