Happy Live Show Tuesday!
Morning, all my BBCrazies! I hope you all got a little bit of sleep last night! I got a little… very little. I’d forgotten how those little nephews like to get up uber early. It’s a good thing he’s adorable. Glad my kids are old enough to let me nap!
Not much happened after I went to bed last night, other then the construction of that pillow wall, some general chitchat and sleepy, but restless, houseguests. They are up and moving now, and currently in HOH for a lockdown. Keesha is listening to the CD, and teary, and Memphis is very carefully not looking in her direction at all.
It’s very silent. It seems to be divided into two groups - but we know better, and Memphis and Dan proved better as they -in passing during a quick moment alone - shared some Renegade smiles quick words. Yes Jerry is still in good with Memphis, they’re ready to make history and Memphis has his eye on Dan… awww. Renegades FTW! (I know. I’m uber loyal. Shush.)
I’ll update when there’s something worth updating here, naturally - otherwise I’m saving my pretty little typing fingers for the show! Live show, Endurance, and more fun than you can shake a stick at! (…never understood that expression, shake a stick at. I’ll bet Jerry made it up. Snerk!)
HOH Lockdown is over - there’s cleaning being done… Memphis and Dan cleaned the bathroom, Jerry the kitchen. Keesha is packing. Now everyone’s in their separate corners - Keesha hippie room, Dan HOH, Memphis Spa, Jerry finishing kitchen, putting away supplies.
***I will be taking a break for a while, not a lot is happening, Dan/Keesha are chatting about dogs, while Jerry eats and Memphis hides out. I’m off for a while to stretch my legs, etc. and take my nephew to McD’s for lunch. I’ll be back to catch up, to recap the live show as it happens, and to cover the endurance competition. Ya’ll mind the hamsters for me, kay?***
2pm BB Time -we went to trivia. Time for the hamsters to do their runthrough, and start getting ready, checking camera angles and finding out where they are to sit, and what will happen. Feeds might pop back on, might not until after the show - who can tell. *g*
And yes - Jerry Arrogant Annoying Act number 1123240182312938: he didn’t pack.

I know this is a game and I am all for Renegades FTW, but I feel really bad for Keesha. I wish Memphis would talk to her at least so she isn’t leaving totally hating him. I love Dan and even though Memphis said he could throw him under the bus, I had a hard time last night listening to him do exactly that. Keesha and Memphis were close throughout the season and I just hate it ending like this.. Im a happy and sad bunny all at the same time…

To shake a stick is a threatening action. The phrase could refer to the size of an opposing military force or a pack of aggressive animals.
Or, the stick could indicate a pointer of some kind, perhaps used to count sheep or cattle.

I’m sure many of us have conflicting feelings about tonight - but it’ll be fun anyway *g* I went and parused the CBS boards, and had to snicker. My but they are up in arms over there.. They amuse me they do.

I would sure like to know why Memphis said, “Ready to make history?” to Dan earlier.
I had wanted the F4 to be R/K/D/&M then the F2 Renny & Keesha and Renny ultimately winning the 500k. Unfortunately none of that happened. Renny had been saying for weeks to Keesha that she didn’t trust either Dan or Memphis. She even said in her interview with JC that Memphis wants it (to win) the most. She could see it in his eyes. Everyone just seemed to blow off Renny as being a loose cannon. I wonder what they will think when all is said and done???
I still can’t decide who I want to win now. I’ve been leaning toward Dan because I agree with Renny. There’s just something about Memphis. But right now it would be a hard choice due to the way they are handling Keesha.
I for sure don’t want Jerry to win.

I still want Dan to win. I have for a long time now. Even if he isn’t being completely truthful to Keesha, he’s at least making her feel betterm which is what she needs right now.

Vicki, I don’t think he meant anything big about it, you know? Other then the fact that they’ve been a hidden alliance for a weeks now, and they intend to join the ranks of very few 2 person alliances making it to the final two together.

Oh okay. Although, I don’t see how Memphis thinks it’s making history if it’s already been done. But of course he’s the one who let Dan throw him under the bus, Oh sorry “gave” Dan “permission” to throw him under the bus, and in doing so gave Dan that many more votes. So I suppose it’s understandable that I don’t get his logic.

Actually, Chilltown didn’t make it to the end together. Will was 4th or 3rd in Allstars, and boogie was an early-ish boot in season 2. The only one that I can think of that aligned from the beginning and made it to the end is bb8, Dick/Daniele.

Well, “lets make history” sounds better then “let’s join the one other that’s gone before us in the history making process, whooo!” *L*
And they are the only non-related alliance of 2 to make it that far… and be undiscovered, which might be part of it. Everyone knew D/D were together.. everyone knew chilltown was together - no one thinks Dan/Memphis are truly aligned.

Are you guys so sure that Memphis would not cross Dan in the end and take Jerry - thus “making history” by having a 75 year old man make it to the F2??? I just don’t trust him…I do not want Jerry to win but Memphis may figure he has a better chance with Jerry than Dan at this point…????

I really don’t see Memphis taking Jerry. Not only from what he says in the DR, but also what he’s told Dan and what he’s told Jerry. Dan knows what Memphis is up to and knows about the deals, F2, etc. Jerry doesn’t know anything about it. Nothing. I would think he’d tell him maybe a little something about Dan if he was with him.

*L* it was good - happy nephew now. He was STARVING you know.. it’d only been an hour since he had two bowls of oatmeal and half a pb sammich. Mine are so much older now I forget what it’s like to be in the middle of a toddler growth spurt - when said toddler doesn’t make his own breakfast.
That’s the upside to having teenagers now. The downside is OMG I have TEENAGERS now… *L*

So what do you guys think about candidates for All Stars 2?
I think any of the Fab 4 would be great. Maybe Michelle too. And although I know it would nevr happen, I’d love to see Brian play the game again without talking too much.

Definitely would like to see Brian give it a go and see if he learned anything. *L* and naturally, the Renegades and Keesha. Possibly Renny (only possibly because her paranoia drained me from her HOH on..), but I can do without another season of Michelle’s tantrums.
Steven would be good too. And I miss Angie - though I don’t think she’d do any better the second time around. *L*

Ermmmm, Lessa, I might be incorrect about this but didn’t Dick/Danielle start out against each other. I remember ED up in the HoH room screaming about how she screwed him over and better not win the first HoH. Danielle never seemed to have wanted to align with Dick until he had done a LOT of serious work on her and saved her etc. She just spent her time being the whiney lil’ crybaby she was through most of the season until she was outta choices. Course I could be wrong in my recollection here.
I thought the only one that came close to THIS alliance was Danny and Jason, season 3 i believe.

mike, the very first week dick and dani came to an understanding in the bathroom that they would have each others backs till the end.
dani said ‘i don’t really want to be seen talking to you or being friendly, but i have your back’

Just for the simple fact Jerry didn’t pack I would LOVE for Memphis to evict him.. I can’t stand that old man!!
I completely understand why Memphis needs to vote out Keesha but I really wish he would sit and talk to her before she goes tonight. Letting Dan do all the talking for him is not a good idea IMO, I love me some Dan but Memphis has a shot at the money just as much as Dan does and they made this decision as a team and I feel that they should take the hit as a team.
I know its a game but K & M have been close and it’s not sitting well with me how its ending between them, Renny knew and there were nice ggodbye messages and no hatred. I want that with K too.

Angie and Steven are in the same boat that Brian is. They didn’t get far enough to ever get considered.
I agree zoeysmom, I wish they would talk, but it seems to be on Keesha and she’s stated that she doesn’t want to talk to him. I think the first time they meet in a club it might be a liiitle awkward.

Hmmm. Well I have to beleive that Jerry’s ‘Horrible” count is higher than 12,345,678. I lost count at 12,188,431 and that was about two weeks ago.
There is a YouTube video of Jerry picking his nose. But I didn’t want to view it. But I felt like I should because I don’t beleive you guys when you say he picks his nose. I’ve never seen it and a nice 75 year-old man wouldn’t do that on the Internet. Would he?
gigglechick, I am also still holding out for Memphis to change his mind. Extremely doubtful at this point, but we gots to believe in miracles. BTW, I clicked my heels 3 times to avoid Renny’s eviction and it didn’t work. Let’s think of something else.

Keesha is so prepared to go now that it would be fantastic if Memphis grew some and kept her—she would be so thrown off that she wouldn’t compete well….would be nice if Memphis wasn’t such a hard head….do these people actually think past their first thought about things? I believe they get stuck on an idea and can’t see past it.

Mike - yup, what deidre said. The very first episode after he came downstairs and she was crying in the bathroom, they made the agreement to have each others back - to set aside the feelings and work together in the game. That’s what lead them to the ultimate dream win.
Keesha and Memphis will talk this out afterwards and be fine, I’m sure. I know it sucks right now, but I’ve a good feeling it’ll turn out ok and they’ll be friends again.
And his letting Dan do all the talking works for me because it secures more votes for him in the end. hehehehe.
re: goodbye message - Memphis did tell Dan that he tried to explain in the goodbye message, and hopes she gets to see enough of it to udnerstand.

Memphis will have ample opportunity to ’splain himself when he does his vote for eviction. I’m gonna talk with Nati/Ryan from S9 tonight and ask if BB ever tells them not to discuss their votes. I can see that as a strong possiblity because it would be difficult to film the nominated HG without divulging part of the story.
Less than 2 hours to the Live Show! I think I slept less than Keesha last night. But, I got my hair cut today! Hey, that’s more exciting than what’s going on in the house.

Just a thought - what if this is all a ploy by Memphis to keep Jerry off his back til eviction. Maybe the reaction that BB wanted out of Keesha is not the shock of her being voted out, but actually the shock of her staying after finding out that she had been sold out. All of her actions since would certainly solidify Jerry’s confidence that he was staying, so much so, he wouldn’t even pack. What a great show!

The more I think about it, the more that I seem to remember them never being able to say specifically to a person that they’ll evict or nominate them. When Jerry told Keesha she was going up last week, she was confused and asked the DR if he was allowed to say that. And in earlier seasons, when they used to vote before the live show, they weren’t allowed to say who they voted to evict. Only saying things like “I went with the house.” Or somewhat vague stuff like that.

I didn’t say that Dan knew about it. Memphis could still be letting Dan believe he was set on keeping Jerry. Think about it. If true, it lets Dan believe that he has Keesha’s vote sewed up! For this to work, Memphis and only Memphis knows about this. Otherwise, you wouldn’t get the correct responses and actions out of the HGs.

Melissa - I don’t know. I don’t think Memphis has that in him, really. Now Dan? I’d believe it of Dan. Dan has that showman gene, where as Memphis is more the muscle, the bulldog. When he gets an idea he’s a dog with a bone - not ever gonna let go.

I think Memphis is officially up Dan’s butt though, and I can’t see him going behind his back at this point. Now, if he sees a clip of he and Michelle on the beach…..something may happen. But then again, he is so far up his butt right now (enough to let Dan throw him under the bus to get Keeshas vote!) that I wouldn’t be surprised if he ignored it.

There’s a rumor of a possibility of Dan being the one to vote to evict tonight. I think it started with some dude on the dish board saying real player says “find out who Dan will evict live this Tuesday” (or something of that sort) and then I think some people took that and ran with it. Have you seen anything that actually says this? It’d be great if that were to happen tonight….but I highly doubt it

The “Dan vote to evict” thing started because someone insisted that the veto symbol they saw him flash wasn’t the one he made, but that it was real, and even fabricated a red ribbon on it. *L* No matter how much Carolyn or I said otherwise, they insisted. Even when I posted screenshots. It was vaguely amusing.

And I think Dan has had to make some pretty tough moves to date - this would be another one. He’s entirely too comfortable right now though for it to be his vote. That’s why he threw the POV to Memphis, so Memphis would have to make the decision and be the bad guy.

Dan or Memphis hav won every comp they’ve had to. It’s very interesting. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen so much force when it needs to be won. The only time would be when Jerry won HOH, but Dan would have won that if his ball didn’t bounce 10 spots over. And the important thing for Dan is that he knows when to throw them. That’s the biggest difference between him and a lot of other players in the game.
