Big Brother Craze

Previously, on BB8! After the recap, in which we’re treated again to the ice tea incident, we rejoin the HOH competition, Time’s Up! Kail says she knows the deck is stacked against her, and she has to win everything. Dustin says there’s the 6 LNC members against Jen, Kail and Zach, and he feels confident. Jess explains that the torso and heads had to stay below the bar as they hung. She says the foam was slick and made it hard to hang on.

Everyone is struggling, and Amber falls at 6 minutes. Kail says she held on to her faith, digging deep. Eric put his torso up over the bar and was disqualified at 9 minutes. He tells us he gets motion sickness and is disgusted for failing his alliance and America.

Jameka falls at 10 minutes. On the sidelines, Eric mentions the speech from Nick and that if her relationship wasn’t over before, it is now - and we cut to the speech and Daniele who is furious that Nick’s gone. She calls him a friend, and says that she knows her boyfriend is happy that Nick is gone. Kail says she doesn’t want the emotional roller coaster again….

..and Amber cries.

Dick says it was either a mistake in the game, or the best move for Daniele’s outside life. Eric couldn’t be happier, and that he’s in good standing with the girls like Nick wanted to be, and he’s glad Nick is gone.

Back to the HOH competition,18 minutes in - and we see the Banner Plane! We heart nick, Amber and Eric are liars, LNC is the Nerd Herd. Amber tells us she can’t even lie, and it was awful to see that (OH PLEASE.) And, of course, she cries. Eric says the banner will hurt him in the game, and that people are idiots, and he’s angry about it. Daniele says that’s when everyone fell into place. Eric says that it means the world to him, and he will be devastated if it results in his getting evicted.

Jen says it wasn’t hard, and she was just bored. Zach says he tried for a Jedi moment, but he drops at 32 minutes. That made Jameka happy, because she felt he’d put her up. Dick says he wanted to beat Jen more then anything. But he falls at 44 minutes.

Daniele says her legs were numb, and it hurt - but it was her and Jessica against Jen and Kail. Jess dropped at 59 minutes, which put it all on Daniele to win.

Back at over an hour in, and Kail is disheartened that everyone cheered Daniele on, not Jen and Kail. Dick of course is going off on Jen and Kail, and Daniele says that she doesn’t know if his strategy works, but it makes him happy. Then he says something about Christians, and pisses off Jameka because it’s uncalled for. Jen, of course, digs into Daniele and calls her a cheat against her boyfriend, and Jen tries to make a deal, and Daniele tells her to shut up.

Jen and Daniele go at it again - and Eric jumps into the fray and tells Jen to shut up and leave her alone. Daniele says she doesn’t know why he did that, but that it was nice.

Jen is down at 1 hour 31 minutes.

Kail asks how much Daniele has, and Daniele says she’ll hang until she dies. She says she’ll put her up but she’s not going home, that everyone wants Jen out, and Kail steps down at 1 hour 36 minutes, and Daniele is the new HOH!

Dick is so proud of her, and they share a big hug. Dustin tells Kail to keep fighting and not to give up. Kail says sorry to her kids. Eric says thank god it’s Daniele, because he’s under a microscope because of the stupid banner.

Jen doesn’t seem worried as it’s the replacement nominee that seems to go home every week. Daniele says she has a few scenarios and she wants to make some people nervous.

Daniele is upset, and cries to Dick because she doesn’t know who the second vote is. She tells us there’s a weasel and she doesn’t know who it is, but she’s bound and determined to find out.

Amber and Daniele share tears, and Daniele says that someone is trying to set her up and it’s really screwed up. Amber and Eric talk about the banner, and the stray vote. Jameka joins, then Dustin, and Amber swears to god again and again, and everyone says they don’t think it was Eric. Jameka says it’s tricky, really tricky.

We come back and get to see Daniele’s HOH room, and she has pictures of her boyfriend. Dustin says he’s cute, whatever, and makes a little face. Jen tells us she used and played Nick this whole time. Dick is teary-eyed, and says his mom is happy that Dick and Daniele are getting closer. Daniele tells Dick that she thinks Eric is the vote, and the leak. She tells us that she knew it wasn’t Nick, and as soon as she saw the banner, it all fell into place. (GEE THANKS AMERICA!)

And we are introduced to the conspiracy theory! Eric was pushing for Nick to leave, Eric was the vote, its Eric who’s the leak. Eric makes things worse by talking to Dick right away. He floats the idea that it’s Jen, or Jessica. He says he was the most vocal in wanting him gone, so it couldn’t be him. Dick goes outside, and says he knew he was lying, and cussing. He tells us that Eric is the vote, and it was to set up Nick the first week, then to set up Daniele.

Daniele and Dick pull Jessica into the HOH room to tell her the theories and that Eric is the one, and that he’s in an alliance with Kail. Eric is the brains and alliance. Jessica tells us that she was confused because she was close to Eric and she has no idea what to do. They make her promise not to tell anyone. And Jessica goes right to her best friend.

Eric tells us he is LIVID. He’s been nothing but decent to them, and to bring it on because all they’ve done is secured their early exit.

Time for Eric’s America’s Player Task.
This week Eric will promise a houseguest they will go to the final two - it’s up to Eric if it’s the truth or a lie. Who do we want him to promise?

(A little note from ME: COME ON AMERICA! DON’T MESS THIS UP! Vote Jessica! You messed him up last week - REDEEM YOURSELVES! Ahem. back to the action.)

We see Jen come up and say it’d be funny to be nominated three times in a row. And Jen says she doesn’t know her at all, and Daniele calls her out on that and feels like she hates her, and Jen apologizes and says she doesn’t want to leave the house with negative thing.

It’s Eric’s turn to get his task, and find out who to get nominated. He says he hopes for Jen or Kail, and gets his wish with Jen - and he’s thrilled.

There’s a little meeting at the hammock, and Eric talks about paranoia, and Dick goes into it with Eric again about the stray vote. Dick says it can’t be swept under the rug, and Eric says that’s not what he’s doing. Dick throws pillows, and it escalates into yelling again as Daniele tries to stop it - but it doesn’t stop, and Eric says not to yell at him again, and proclaims his loyalty and Dick is still yelling. Eric tries to talk him down, it looks like it might have worked…. for now.

Time for the Nomination Ceremony!
Daniele says it’s an honor and gets things started, and pulls the first key.

Dustin - thank you for not nominating me last week.
Eric, Jameka, Amber, Dick, Jessica, Zach.

Daniele says third times a charm, she’s nominated them both again and everyone applauds. She says Kail is a competitor, and if she werent’ seen as a threat she wouldn’t be there. Jen, you asked me, your wish is my command, and she’s taken the game to a personal level, and she adjourns the meeting.

Kail says it takes an amount of mental strength to be a pawn, but it’s scary. Jen says that everything she does, she’s having fun, which is the only reason she’s there. Daniele says that it’s not her plan, and there will be jaws dropping and people will be shocked at what happens next.
