“I just wish he’d tell me…”
Gee, where have we heard THAT before….
Mattie has twigged on some subtle shift in the atmosphere, some cosmic karmic tingle that has him paranoid and asking questions. He came up to James earlier at the hot tub and asked if he’s being put up on the block tomorrow, James told him he was paranoid. Then, as they played chess, Mattie asked him again:
Afterwards, he went past Ryan and said in an undertone “I’m joining you on the block” - Ryan laughed it off and said he was paranoid, again. Mattie then asks Adam, who says nothing. Ryan comes out and asks him why he’ paranoid - Matt says that Sheila gave him a weird look and hasn’t once asked for his vote. Ryan correctly tells him that doesn’t mean anything. Matt said James won’t tell him anything -he asked so he could get a good nights sleep and all James did was ask him if he (James) got a good night sleep.
He then said it didn’t matter, he wouldn’t whine and cry about it if it happened. He says it would be a good move, and everyone was scheming against him last week, why would it be different now. Tomorrow - if it all goes down, for real - he’ll be all on about how he knew it. The kid’s been all kind of mopey and depressed since nominations. It’s very odd. Even Natalie noticed how he’s been acting, and went on and on about the deal and how that would be breaking it, and that he wouldn’t go back on his nomination speech. Matt put on his shoes and is doing laps in the back yard in the rain to burn off his paranoia before trying to sleep.
Tomorrow’s gonna be an interesting one, for sure! Hopefully something will go down - these guys are all kinds of boring tonight. Minus the brief bouts of paranoia, of course.
