-:45 Welcome to the Live Finale live blogging post! I’ll do my best to cover everything as it happens, then go back and catch anything I missed on second viewing in my area - 3 hours later. It’s been a long time coming, and love’em or hate’em, a Donato will come away the winner of BB8 this evening! That said - bring on the bloggin!

:00 Three months ago 14 people moved into the BB house. Among them, estranged Father and Daughter - tonight, one of them will be crowned the winner. The live Finale starts NOW!

:04 Good Evening Julie! Welcome to the Finale! Dick and Daniele, tonight their fate is in the hands of the jury of 7 who will be here in a while to cast their votes live. And the best kept secret, America’s player - tonight, they’re all in a big shock. But first, how did the final jury member arrive and they were forced to debate between Father and Daughter?

Cut to the jury house, where Dustin says that he’d love to see D/D and least like to see Zach here, and laughter at the ironic turn of events. Jen thinks that Dick is the absolute worst person she’d ever met in her entire life - Enter Zach! Awwww!!

Eric is the first to greet him with a hug, Eric tells him he would have crushed either one of them, and now Dustin is all drama queening it up!

Time for America’s Player to see who he should campaign and vote for - and as we expected, Dick wins the vote. Start Eric working his magic, time to choose the lesser of two evils. Zach says everyone has been afflicted by a personal attack. Dustin says that making him win, would say they condone his behavior. Eric says that it’s not in the rule book, that it’s strategy, and Daniele rode coat tails, and Jen says they were stupid to not vote them out. She refuses to condone anyone being a dick. Amber calls out Jen on calling out him on their truce. Eric refocuses the discussion, and says who played the best game. Dick’s best strategic move was to target people, Daniele’s best move was riding Dick’s coattails. Jen goes personal again, Dustin says go strategic, not personal!

Zach says she was the strongest competitor, Dustin agrees. Eric says hey, Dick won clutch competitions, so let’s not over look that. Amber says that he played not for one, but for two - and that’s why they’re there. Jessica finally speaks up, and says she did it all, just quieter, can’t you see that. Zach says Daniele made the call and Dick did it - he was the attack dog, she held the leash, Jameka says dick was the ‘ho, Daniele was the pimp, Dustin says it’s Evel or Evel’s spawn gonna win!

:14 Welcome back! There’s a shot of Janelle in the audience. Goody. Nothing was off limits in this jury as they questioned Dick and Daniele!

Dustin starts off and says kudos to both, they got what they wanted, but not lets forget this is Big Brother and only one winner. Dick, knowing your daughter said I’ll carry my dad with me because he’s a terrible person, how do you feel sitting next to her? Dick says no one carried anyone, they’ve had the hardest game in the house, it’s the best team that has played the game, doesn’t matter what she said before.

Amber, Daniele, why should I give you my vote considering what you did to your boyfriend on national tv with Nick, you’re pathetic person, for what you did, why should I respect you as a person? Daniele says no one really knows, and if you’re going to base your vote on my personal life, I don’t want it - it has nothing to do with the game.

Jessica asks Dick who he’d want to sit next too if it couldn’t be Daniele, he says it never passed his mind, because he always wanted Daniele there and that he never lied to her. Jessica says yes you have - you assured me all week that I was staying, you both liked, it will be a tough decision.

Eric asks Dick for a reason each jury member would deserve to be final two. He says Dustin, he doesn’t. Jen doesn’t deserve it. Amber, nope - no strategic or moves in the game by her by sliding through as the “good people”. Jessica made moves, but tried not to bloody her hands. Eric, you were the best player, a force to reckon with. Jameka they gave her the opportunity to stay longer and she appreciates that. Zach came on huge at the end and almost made it through.

Zach asks both of them - what have you learned and will take with you outside of this house from each member of the jury. Daniele starts: Eric - sense of humor. Jessica - happiness. Amber - huge heart. Dick adds - from Dustin, overconfidence gets you in trouble. Jen, no matter how a person is on the outside, there’s a real person down DEEP in there, hard to find. Jameka is the best-hearted person, respect you a lot. Zach, you gave us a run for our money, don’t underestimate someone’s heart and will isn’t a good idea.

Jameka asks Daniele what she credits herself for as her biggest move and not using her father. Daniele says how it’s hard because they see her and Dick as one person. Putting up Eric, and back-dooring Jen. It was about making it to the final two and doing what was best.

Jen says she doesn’t respect either of them as people in the real world. Dick, has this helped you build your relationship with Daniele. He says he’s blindsided by the question from Jen. He says it’s been difficult, but it’s a beginning and he appreciates it even more then being in the final two, and if you don’t know that you’re an idiot.

Final Pleas:
Daniele says she never would have thought they worked so well together, it is what you make of it, and there’s no one she’d rather sit next too in the end. She asks the Jury to vote with their hearts and she’s content with that. Dick says there was no flying under the radar, he played it, he played hard, and the deal with Eric was a huge move, to make them allies instead of enemies. When it came to an end, he feels worst about turning on them. He did what needed to be done, for himself and Daniele. He’s here, made it with his daughter, as far as he’s concerned, they won.

:22 Cut to Daniele telling Dick that his speech was crappy, because she didn’t campaign for her to win, and thinks he did. And whatever, it’s fine. We see Dick talking to himself about her reaction.

:23 Let’s welcome the Jury! Dustin, Jen, Amber (no boos. sigh.), Jessica! Eric, Jameka, and Zach.

:28 Welcome back! There’s Chicken George! Hi Julie. Let’s talk to Dick and Daniele! Dick says he’s feeling great, it’s weird looking at himself, but he couldn’t be better. Daniele says the last week has been really nice, remenicing, and she couldn’t ask for anything more then to be sitting there with her dad.

It’s time to cast the votes. Jurors, Each of you step to the box and insert the key of the person you want to see win BB8. Without revealing, you’ll be allowed to make 1 final statement. Eric, you are up first.

Eric says Congrats, to him, it was a clear cut choice, and best of luck to both of you.
Jameka says congratulations Donatos, her vote will be going to possibly someone who’s game she respects.
Dustin says hey, and he wants to let them know that someone in the house once said actions speak louder then words, so he’s basing his vote on strategic action, not words.
Jen says honestly, she’d prefer to vote for neither, but has no choice, so will vote for one.
Zach, Well, he was in the house longest, and met them both competitively and personally, and with that he votes.
Amber, congrats, I was close to both and had ups and downs, she’s basing her decision strictly on game strategic purpose.
Jessica says congratulations, she’s voting for the person she enjoyed more in the house. May the best Donato win!

:35 Welcome back - and there’s Kaysar and Howie! For the first time, two family members have made it to the final two. Vincent and Charlotte, are there! Julie asks Charlotte what it was like to see them forge a relationship in the house. She says it was a miracle, and it would have taken a long time, and she hopes they keep it up, they make a great team. It’s been great.

Vince, your dad played a provocative confrontational game, and Vince says he’s like that outside the house, sure, everyone brings a bit of themselves into the game - but it is a game.

Now, welcome the first five evicted houseguests! Carol, Mike, Joke, Nick and Kail.

Nick, you went to New York, here’s your chance, what do you want to say! “Hi! I’ll see you in a little bit” Awkwaaaard! Can’t wait for the reunion.

Carol what was it like watching Jessica last to week 9 - what surprised you most? Carol says she was proud of how she handled herself, though there were some things said that hurt, and but good job.

Joe, what was it like watching Dustin? Joe says it was neat to see him fall apart, but congrats, you did well, you got far! Good job. Dustin doesn’t have anything to say to that.

Mike, the MRA alliance - were you rooting for Zach? I was! Sorry you couldn’t pull it through, but I was rooting for you all the way!

Kail, are you surprised to see Dick in the final two? She says no, she knew they’d come out strong and finished strong.

Julie says the five know something the rest of the houseguests don’t. It’s time to reveal the big twist of BB8. Expect the unexpected. What can be more so, then the twist that no one knows, that made an impact on the game and life itself. One of you, has a secret. One of you has not been playing the game alone. One is not all you appear to be. Who is it, and what is it? Let’s find out!

Cue tape - Eric! Hey guys, I’m the big secret. I’m America’s player. He explains everything - Jessica looks shocked - and cue a little clip (but nice!) He says he’s disappointed he didn’t get to cast his own vote, but he did what he was told to do. Dustin is laughing. Dick, you owe America a BIG FAT THANK YOU… Dick is laughing.

Oh - those Mystery votes, they were me doing America’s bidding. Some were fun - the mimic tape, and Dick is cracking up. The traumatic story - Kail laughs. Failed taskes… The silent treatment - Jessica smiles, and she’s shaking her head. Here’s the sleep walking bit! Joe’s nodding “I knew it!” Everyone is cracking up. He says he didn’t always agree, but it was his job, and he hopes everyone understands and no hard feelings.

Eric is already whispering to Jessica. How what is she thinking - she’s thinking OMG! And he just said they could talk later, and wow. She’s surprised she didn’t know, and she’s in shock, but says she’s not made at him at all. Eric is wiping the sweat away.

Julie asks Dick - had it not been for AP, he’d have been voted out. he says he was ready to go, and thought he made a great power play, but it was everyone else, and he’s shocked. Julie says he had to sway everyone. And Wow!

Daniele how surprised are you? She says she knew the mustard and the two votes, but she thinks it’s hilarious!

What does Dustin think? Are you surprised at how good he did to turn that vote? Dustin says he is not shocked, he can sell anything. But um, he was happy to spend a lot of time in paradise. Jameka says it all makes sense now! Women’s intuition knew there was something not quite right. Jen, now you know America poured mustard on your shirt - Jen says I was wondering who was so childish, now I see it was America!

Eric says first, Dustin, Amber I wouldn’t have done it, but I did what I needed to do. And Jessica, everything we shared was true and genuine, and he’s been dying to tell her a long time, everything shared was him, just him.

Well Dick and Daniele, one final task, was to cast America’s vote for who America wanted to win. Coming up - we’ll see who wins. Stay with us.

:53 They exit the house after hugs, with big smiles, and come out to loud cheers, and nick is there to hug Daniele, Dick and Vincent hug, and Mom gets a hug too as everyone comes down to congratulate them both!

:54 Julie says Congrats to Dick for being the winner, and come over here, I need to find your daughter - come over here. We’ll have more with the father and daughter team that swept big brother when we return!

:57 Welcome back - just for the record, Jessica voted for Dick as well, and won 5-2. Dick says he’s taking a trip and going to relax and doing the around the world. Daniele, how do you feel? She says she’s ecstatic, they won! With 81 days, 32 competitions, it’s been exciting and emotional, thanks to everyone for a great season, and more with Dick and Daniele on the early show!

Wow! I’m so glad they cast the America’s Player in a good light! It’ll go far for Jessica and Eric so that he has time to finally tell her about everything. That makes this Erisica fan VERY happy!
