Lessa’s Opinion on the Hamsters
Well, we haven’t done one of these for a couple weeks, so let’s see how my opinion on our lovely houseguests has changed, hm?
The Dastardly Donatos - Dick and Daniele

The power team is one again, well, in power! With Daniele’s second HOH reign, she’s in the position to make a big move this time, instead of a vindictive move. She did the expected, and nominated Amber and Jameka, which is a good move, if not powerful. However, if the veto is used, the plan is to backdoor Jen and get her out of there. Good or bad - it’s a big move that takes out one of the strongest women competitors, and strategically it’s smart, no matter how much I hate the back door move. This is simply a season of BD though, so… I expect that to be played.
Dick has been rather calm this week, which is not entirely surprising due to the fact his Daughter is HOH. However, he’s not pulling a power trip this time like he did last time. He’s not attacked anyone, there’s been no yelling, no banging of pots and pans, nothing. In fact, he’s been surprisingly…. nice. It’s rather disconcerting, but appreciated nonetheless.
Daniele is happier- it’s her birthday week! She turns 21 (22 according to the houseguests and her lie first night) today (Happy Birthday, Daniele!) and has had a good week, with only a couple tempertantrums where she told off her dad, and sulked in her room. Oddly, she’s spending most of her time with Zach, who she still says she hates. Weird.
It’s a nice change however, to have a peaceful house for a week. Well, until POV, if they pull the Jen BD.
Erissica! - Eric and Jessica

Eric and Jessica have solidified their alliance with the DDs, and as such are in a very good position right now. The DDs won’t go after them until they’ve cleared the board of other people, floaters and the like. This puts them in good right now, but the final 4 could be tricky, it’s a must win HOH situation for them!
Jessica has pulled off a big HOH move in getting rid of Dustin, and surviving all the shit the America’s Choice threw at her through Eric. While she isn’t one of the open power players, she’s certainly paying a lot more attention to details then it seems at first. She gives as much as she gets when she and Eric are talking strategy. She’s very approachable - everyone talks to her, even if they say they hate her (Amber. heh.)
I still love Eric as America’s Player. He’s been thrown more then a couple of loops, and coped with it well. He’s doing his best to keep his alliance with Jessica strong, even while he has to work with AC’s that sometimes go directly opposite of what they feel they need to do. He’s smart, and though he talks too much and gets stuck in the occasional loop (Talks with Amber/Jameka - by the end I could have given that speech!) he is playing the game all out, balls to the wall, from a strategy standpoint, while keeping his personal feelings and friendship with Jessica alive.
The God Squad - Amber and Jameka

Could these two be any more clueless? I do think they’ve FINALLY clued in that this predestination of them in the final two is not going to happen without their working for it. Coasting and trusting God to do all the heavy lifting is not the way to go.
Jameka - she’s the patience of a saint to deal with Amber, but though she says repeatedly that things don’t add up, she’s done nothing to try and figure out how and why. She expects that everyone is telling her the truth, but sweetheart, this is a GAME that is built on LIES and DECEIT and the like to get to the end. Just believing that you are more deserving then anyone else doesn’t mean that you’re the best player of the game. Being a good person, doesn’t always count. Welcome to life.
Amber - for the love of god, someone give her a dictionary. She is CLUELESS and she needs to go NOW. She’s so hypocritical, with her never having lied, her visions of grandeur, and so on. Not only that, but she thinks that people don’t want to be sitting next to her in the final two because she’s nice to everyone, gets along with everyone, and is a single mom and cleans. If that’s SAID is one thing, but really the girl is in for a rude awakening, because she is NOT America’s sweetheart at all. Not to mention she’s completely delusional - she thinks she can be a model?! Now I’m all for normal size girls being modeling, as that’s a move in the right direction, but seriously, Amber? ANTM? Give me a break. And her “I’ve not lied once in this game…” don’t even get me started.
These two will be gone, and in short order, as long as JEDD stay in power. (Please! Stay in power, JEDD! Just a little while longer!) They’re connecting dots - but STILL coming up with the wrong answers… (And, as I write this - she’s swearing on the life of her daughter again. *facepalm*)
The Outcasts - Jen and Zach

Jen is definitely getting on everyone’s nerves. Every time she walks into a room it’s “What? What happened? Who said that? Are you mad? At what?” So on, so forth, and her sucking up to the HOH is clearly ineffectual. Well, clearly to anyone except for Jen herself. Can she really be so vacant?! I have to believe there’s something more to her, but fear I am wrong, oh so wrong. And she’s closer to getting gone then she thinks. So much for the coaching of Chill Town!
Zach. Dear Zach. He’s coming out of his shell, which is nice, but he’s still just so awkward, so inept, that it’s almost painful to watch. But I am very happy to see that people are paying attention to him now, even if they still talk shit behind his back. Everyone also figures that he’s an easy eviction down the line, stringing him along because of that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds himself in the final five because of that - and possibly higher still. He hasn’t won anything yet - but he might have a few surprises in him somewhere. This is the man who enjoyed his Bunny Suit and Funk Dunks, after all! Of course, this is also the same guy that thinks he has a closer relationship with Jessica then Eric does… um, no.
My hope for final two? Still Eric and Jessica. Duh! Do I think it’ll happen? Probably not, but I can dream!
