Live show, Live bloggin - Final HOH COMP TIME!
-:20 and counting! Tonight we get to see who our final HOH will be, and who is our final two! Are you ready? Well ARE YA? Me too! And as always - Thanks so much ATI for the live stream!
:00 Previously on Big Brother Eight…
:02 Good Evening Julie! Stunning, as always. We’re down to the final three, who would have thought D/D would make it to the home stretch? Tonight we’ll see if Zach has the mental and physical strength to take on the Duo. But first - when we left them, they’d just started the bunny hop. Little did they know it was the most physically and psychologically challenging in BB History?
Cut to the beginning of the Bunny Hop. Dick tells us the goal was to win the first two parts, and not even give Zach a shot at the third part. Daniele tells us she told Dick if there was cold water, she’d be doomed. Cue the first rain! She tells us it was the coldest water, she’d ever felt. Zach switches his hat, and Daniele complains of freezing already.
At one hour… Daniele is miserable, Dick is a drowned rat, And they shoot mud and gunk at them! EWWW!
Two hours - Still going, and this is where Daniele is showing signs of faltering, and Dick starts to encourage Daniele, telling her to try and relax.
Two hours, twenty minutes. Still hopping. Daniele signals Dick to start his mouth - start talking she mouths, and Dick is off and running! Daniele giggles. Still hopping.
2 hours 47 minutes. Dick still talking, Daniele crying - she’s almost done… Zach silent..The bunny is going really, really slow… And Daniele is down! Misjudged the speed, thinking it’d stop and slipped. She runs inside to the shower, while Zach and Dick look around, waiting for the bunny and Zach starts laughing! Giving it back! Dick says he feels good and he ain’t leaving! All day, all night! Manly scream time! YAAAAAAAAAAH! Dick looks shocked at first. And quiets down as Zach keeps mimicing him. It’s funny!
4 hours 30 minutes in. Daniele comes back out. Encourages Dick. Quiet, no more taunting. Five hours. Daniele “Come on old man! You’ve gotten this far! You’re doing Amazing!” Zach silently marching in place, Daniele tells Dick she loves him. Dick tells Zach good job. Seven hours. Daniele encourages, but Dick is in too much pain. Daniele tells us it sucked to see him like that. He tells her he doesn’t want to quit. Daniele encourages him. Dick tries. Keeps trying. He can hardly move his legs. Daniele tells him it’s ok. 7 hours 32 minutes and he lets go, and steps down. (Love the dramatic music CBS! Nice touch!)
Daniele says he stood there for 8 hours, and she’s extremely proud of him and it’s ok. We see her nurturing him, as the music swells in the background, and Dick hobbles inside, congratulates Zach on the way by and Collapses in his room.
:15 He tells us he doesn’t know if he could have done it if not for Daniele, he feels he let not only himself down, but Daniele too. Daniele tells him it’s ok, its ok. Whoever they want go to round three - Zach peeks in. Zach says he treated him like a drill sergeant, he tried to break him, but it just builds him up. He managed to break Dick.
Coming up - Who will face Zach in round three, and the final eviction.

:20 Welcome back! After a grueling 7.5 face off, Zach advances to round three. Now father and daughter compete against each other.
YOWZA! that’s quite a bikini there, Daniele!
She tells us that they would both give it a go, because they’re not sure who’d be best to go on. There’s two big tanks of water - she thinks it’ll be ok. Name of the game is Chain of Command. Puzzle pieces in one tank, move to the other, and complete the puzzle and connect the faces in the order of head of household.
Daniele hits the buzzer, and grabs pieces and gets started. She knew the order, which wasn’t hard, but she tells us that she’s not too good at puzzles, and trying to work it and hold her breath at the same time was really hard. She gets it, runs back across and hits the buzzer.
:22 Dick comes out and says “Warm water, right?!” And off he goes. He tells us that no one was looking to throw the competition. He looks rough heading across the bridge, but he knew the order, just put worked it, no problem. He could hold his breath MUCH longer then Daniele! Looked easier for him.
Daniele’s time - 24:09! LORDY. Dick’s time 12:48 - Dick wins part two! Zach says it doesn’t matter who he goes against. He’s taken him down in the physical, it’d be amazing to take him down in the mental.
Time for Dick to console Daniele this time. Dick says he’ll kick his ass, it’s ok, and to have faith in him. Dick tells us his goal is to take Daniele to the final two. It all comes down to this. He’s confident.
:25 Time to go to the living room! Zach, Dick, congrats on winning rounds 1 and 2. Daniele you showed incredible compassion for your dad, 10 weeks ago did you think you’d feel that way for your father. Daniele says no, coming in she felt she could kick him out no problem. She says she’s ready to look for the positive. Dick, not only did she take you off the block, but she gave you permission to step down, how did that make you feel? Dick said he didn’t want too, his legs were gone, he couldn’t do it anymore. Zach - You never lost your temper, how did you tune Dick out? Zach says his body was numb, his brain was too and he just didn’t hear anything.
Coming up - the Final round determines the final HOH! Meanwhile, has Eric and Jessica continued their romance in the jury house? Find out, next!

:30 Welcome back! When Jameka entered the jury house, they discovered both Donatos were still in the game. Eric and Jessica are giggling together, and talking about his visit to Kansas Dustin and Amber are laughing about how they’re ‘rediculous with each other’ and in love. Too cute. Enter Jameka! Dick of course wants to see D/D! But it’s Jameka! Dustin tells us he sees her smile and thinks (BAD WORD!) and he’s pissed. Eric said it wasn’t a surprise.
And also - as much as Eric and Jessica tried to hide it, Dustin tells us they hear what happens in that house - and they’re apparently waking them up! Oh my!
To the best six losers in Big Brother History! Jameka brings out the DVD! Jury members watch the nomination ceremony, and THE speech. Dustin says Dick is losing it and applauds Zach and he enjoyed watching that.

:37 Welcome back! In just a few moments, the final HOH competition will be completed, and the final eviction. Let’s go back to the living room! Hello houseguests!
Julie will read the beginning of statements made by the jury. The answer will be A or B.
1. Amber said, the moment that irritated her the most was A - jen cried about her picture b - handcuffed to kail. A - Dick gets one right.
2. Jen said the strongest competitor was A - Daniele, B myself. B - no one gets it right
3. Jameka said her fatal error was A - Saving Jen with the veto, B - not looking out for herself earlier. B - both correct.
4. Dustin said the most shocking moment in the house was A. when he was evicted. B. when Amber went off on Eric. B - both incorrect.
5. Eric said the funniest moment was A. When Jameka said Yo Mama is a bitch to B. Dick or when Jen said I will now perform eating. A - both get a point. Dick 3, Zach 2.
6. Jessica said the person who’s gameplay she respected was A -her own, or B -Erics. A,
CONGRATULATIONS DICK! YOU’RE THE FINAL HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD!!!!
Dick and Daniele Celebrate with screaming and WE DID IT WE DID IT WE DID IT!! Dick shakes Zach’s hand and then continues celebrating. WHOO!!!!!

:45 Welcome back - just minutes ago, Dick won the final HOH. She tells them they must now go through the formal steps. Plead your case. Zach says he doesn’t expect him to save him, he played against the best of the best, he lost, good job, way to go. Daniele says what a summer, night and day, who would have thought we would work so well together. We’re an amazing team, and I’d be honored to sit next to you in the final two.
:47 Dick, please stand, and cast you’re final vote. Dick says There’s no decision, Zach, you’re out - Daniele you and me, we won this whole thing! Zach tells them to have a good time, tells Dick he doesn’t agree with his methods, but they worked.
:48 Zach leaves with that big ole smile and says it’s nice to get out of there and gets a hug from Julie.
Dick and Daniele are giggling, who would have thunk it - UNBELIEVABLE. Daniele is laughing at his missing the Jen question.
Zach, you went most of the game without winning, what was some of your biggest game moves. Zach said he knew he had to lay low after MRA fell apart, and he knew he could work with Daniele after Nick left, and he knew late in the game he could come back. He thought he could establish better relationships, and he knew he had to rely on himself. Julie asks him how he really feels about D/D. He says he went against the best players of the game. Dicks tactics are horrible, awful, they didn’t work for him, but against others. Daniele is the strongest competitor. He does say it will take a bit of time, but they all can be friends eventually. Julie points out that the power of veto was all that mattered, why break with D/D. And Zach says it wasn’t official, and didn’t know if he had jury votes, and knew putting D/D would help him win a vote in the end game.
goodbye messages. Daniele says it was a roller coaster from hate to like to who knows where they stand right now. She says she enjoyed getting to know him and considers him a friend, she’s trying not to take things personal, sorry. Dick says he put up one hell of a fight, and when he sees the show he’ll see he wasn’t a master strategizer, but good luck. You did great, final three.
Zach says it’s nice to know it was nothing personal, and it was touching. Don’t go away - important news when we return!

I actually like Dick. I think it’s because I know some folks like him, and can see past all the language and words and the like. He truly loves his kids, Daniele and Vincent, and it’s those moments where he’s just completely utterly human and a father who’s heart is breaking that make me love him.
That and I’d smack the hell outa him the first time he went off on me like that. *L*
As for Daniele - as a mom, I just remind myself that she’s a 21 year old girl, with a lot of growing up to do. She’s not had it easy, and someday she’ll come to terms with everything. I think the way she encouraged Dick after the comp, and the way she nurtured both zach and dick and took care of them shows her core self. As she grows up, she’ll lose a lot of the annoying factors of her personality and grow into that core part of herself. She has great potential.
Honestly though - folks have to remember that the BB house MAGNIFIES everything to a huge degree. It’s a pressure cooker, and very few of those people are that annoying outside of the house.
Cept Jen. (WHY do people like HER? I don’t get it!) and Amber. (….who could like that?) But other then that, outside of the house folks are likely a LOT more toned down.

Lessa, you summed up the Dick-Danielle thing perfectly. I sometimes cringe at Dick’s tactics but I so agree that people need to look past his words, etc. There are pure motives at the core of it. Also, thanks for all your hard work on the updates. It’s great stuff. I’d encourage everyone to vote to have Eric campaign in the jury house for Dick and see what kind of pull he really has since so many of those jury members vowed Dick wouldn’t get their vote.

To answer the question, because they have “GAME” thats what won it Game…Not being nice, not praying, not oh your my buddy. GAME!
Not once did ED lie to people, or switch sides, or BS his way through this, not once. And Dani other than her thing with Nick was the same way…NICE guys finish last! The thing is they did it and did without a hitch.
Pure guts one thing Zack of Shit said right he played against the best and lost!
Now the Jury as sad and whiney as they will be have no choice in the matter, not only that but thier giving away $600,000…
1/2 to 1st and 100K to 2nd place…
D & D have already won really they won this when thier was 4…
Now my Predictions on the Vote….
Eric aka America, as demented as America is,
they know talent when they see it, and Eric aka America will Vote Dani 1 - 0 Dani
Jam hates ED with a passion, shes no fan of Dani but in this case she has no choice in the matter and alot closer to Dani than ED Dani 2 - 0
Zack of Shit - Hates Ed ways and is a very personal person, looks like he tries to go by the “Book” in life. Knowing Dani has won 7 things he will go with who was stronger not louder in the game. Dani 3 - 0
Justin - Cant stand either of them, but in this case hes more likely to vote a girl than ED, and knowing she has mentally won this game, by knowledge he will Vote Dani. Dani 4 - 0
Jess - Girls stick together, and with Eric again compaining Americas wishes we see yet another Eric influence in Jess.. Dani 5 - 0
Amber - This is a tough vote but Dick has done more damage to her than Dani, and Dani stated Im not my father, if anything Dani beat Dick by sep the two of them best as she could durning the whole game while Dick was Witch hunting…Smart Girl Blond or not..Amber Votes Dani. Dani 6 - 0
Last but never least is Jen this is the hardest of the 7..Jen hates Dani and just out of spite could vote ED, inless she sticks with well Dani is the best besides me(Jen) stuck up twat, lol, this could go either way but I see her going with the flow Dani 7 - 0
Worst case Danie 6 Dick 1
This will be the result I forsee it, trust me, and this will end just as in my other post the story book, fairy tale ending..Dick wins final HoH, brings Dani, she wins it all, Dick wins his Daughter back and 100 Grand…So Ends BB8

Best team to have ever played the game? *snort* I don’t think so. They’re good, but not THAT good.
That said, they deserve to be where they’re at right now. I’d like to see Eric campaign for Dick as well, just to see what would happen. I don’t think I’d like to see Daniele win.

Re: Best team - actually, if you look at it, they are. No team has EVER gotten to the final two. Will and Boogie? Nope. Janelle and her ’secret partner’ for Season 6? Nope. No team has ever claimed the final two spot.
In that, they are indeed the best team to have ever played the game.

Hey I be an ED Fan since day one, and its not like I wouldn’t like to see ED win it, he was the brains of the outfit, and the “MUSCLE” behind it all, but in REALITY
I see the jury favoring the brains before the mouth, and America will probabaly see that too…
I said 7 - 0 / 6 - 1 Dani thats how I think it go, it just a perfect finish on the game for producers…
As far as the best, yeah they were, Boggie and Will couldn’t pull it off, Jen & her gang, Howie and Kasier twice over, the X’s in BB4 couldn’t do it…Yeah they were the best, in my opinion.
Mistakes…
If any by the three…
Zack had a chance to put them up before he didn’t that cost him the game.
If ED made a mistake it be taking Dani to the final two he will lose the jury vote, but then again he could careless so really no mistake, in real life.
Dani, by winning part two would have blown Zack away in the final comp she knew those answers all of them…If anything was or could have been a mistake it was not voting off Zack instead of Amber…Dick would have won the first HOH Comp and Dano would have blown amber out of the Tank in Comp two but then again it all worked out…
Plus if anyone has hafe a brain, you try to get rid of the muscle in the final 4 or 5 because in any final HOH part1, 2, 3 comp thiers an endurance part only Nick & Michael would have gave Dick a run for the money both gone before Jury time, Jen might have hung around for a bit, but in the long run Dick would have hung in thier Zack was too much in part 1 we all knew that anyway…

Your right Lessa 50K but you know what no longer is it about money, Dani may want to win this for her, but, the end result I quote Dick “Zach, you are out. Me and you Daniele, we won this whole thing! It is done!,”
I rest my case, does it matter now who wins, I guess for the sake of naming a winner but just as in Survivor did it matter who won between Amber and Rob, no not really…
Speaking of Maybe they will give it a go at the BB house in BB9 LMAO, see if they can give D & D a run for the gold…

I think its funny that people talk about what a great team they are. You seem to forget that the only reason they made it this far was cause of America’s Player was forced to not vote Dick out. If America was actually trying to help Eric win, as was the shows true intent, Dick and Daniele would never had made it this far. They played very well after, but don’t ignore that fact.

I am in love with the Evel One!! He so ROCKS!!! I sat and willed that man mentally to win, thats how bad I wanted it to be him and his daughter. Fact is…they outsmarted and outplayed the entire house with a little help from Eric. Although chances are, without Erics help, Evel would have been gone about mid way. His intimidation of the entire house with his mouth I found to be funny because it was all words to get him and his daughter to the final 2. I think the man has a good heart he just did what he had to do. And as I’ve stated on other blogs…He IS HAWT!!!!

I totally agree with Sam. The Denatos would have been out a long time ago if Eric would have been able to vote the way that he wanted. Danielle has been using her dad the whole time. She can’t stand him. And yes, they did lie to people. Like Zach and Jameka who they each promised to take to the final 3. E.D.’s strategy to harass everyone would have been fine, but he crossed too many lines. He’s dispicable and it sickens me that he’s going to get any money at all. Zach played the game smart. He was a lot more honorable than the Donatos. I just wish that Eric could have made his own choices!!

I know that Eric is America’s player and all…. but he STILL had a choice! He didn’t have to influence any of it even if he didn’t have a vote anymore. At the time he was just trying to make the americasplayer money. It distracted him from the big prize miney. He wanted his cake and to eat it, too. He made a dumb move when Jess had HOH; and Jess was dumb to listen. Eric would have been netter off not campaigning to get Amber evicted, because Amber was only a big crybaby anyway. No competition. Why take out someone you have a chance of winning against when Dani was obliterating the competitions? Makes no sense to me. For being a BB fan, Eric sure played a bad game.

I won’t even watch the final. It is already over. They will probably split the money and live happily ever after. Pretty boring for the final to have the “team” together at the end. I think it was stupid to bring the 2 family members in, because basically it was every man for himself against the little team. Had Daniele not won so many things - Dick would be gone anyway and if he wasn’t her Dad - she would have got rid of him. He is disgusting and she is a whiny baby. I can’t figure out why no one got rid of them when they had the chance. They needed to be split and there were several chances.

Ahhh so goes the public opinion…
One can argue about they would have been, should have been, ect ect..But hey anyone making to the finals could have been should have been…You can second guess all year long, this is the way it worked out…Right Eric had choices win it, or listen to America. Im sure ED won America by his antics, which goes back to my other post on the other part, ED brought in alot of rating so says CBS & BB8, I still think the producers have a little pull in these games one will never know and even if you did talk to someone who was in the game Im sure thier sworn…I dont know, but I do know you can second guess all you want, and say whatever you want, plain and simple everyone got palyed, no matter how they did it, the result is WIN! To be honest I see one BB8 player that played better than the two they deserve it…
We wont even talk about the None Jury people thier so sad they left before the action started…
Amber? She did more crying than playing, she even cryed on Power of Ten..BASKET CASE!
Eric? Great American Boy turned out to be an idiot. Greed on America money on task and a “Showmance” took his head out the game
Jen? The Biggest spoiled Brat and loser thier was. Couldn’t even follow the rules, and went whinning like a kid, who got thier twinkie taken from thier lunch box…Baby Sitter she may be, but she needs one!
Justin? Was so in to himself and so confident he bit the hand that fed him, if he could ever deside what side to take up on maybe he would have made it further…A real sidewinder.
Jess? Instead of playing tonsill hockey with Eric she should have concintrated on the game..Eric made her every move, her biggest mistake was getting involved with Eric period. Your there to play a game and win not find a relationship which wont go anywhere in real life anyway, inless that Tornado picks Eric up and drops him back in Kansas. The down fall of many BB players in the pasttrusting showmances.
Jam…A girl with a good heart, good faith, and caring person but NO Game! This is a game and that doesnt cut the mustard on BB or anyother reality show. Its fight for your right do what you can to survive and most important WIN! Sadly not even the good Lord could save her, guess it was fait!
Last but no least Zach…Peeking a little too late. No doubt Zack deserves 3rd place, but probably would have gotten further if he didn’t 1 Float, two made friends early, and three, used his head, he put up the D’s one HOH too late, remember he won the ball game, and had his chance then, instead he did the Amber, Jam thing…
So could have would, whatever..My reply ok I be like Evil Dick…

If you watched BB4 they had x’s in that game so this is no first time for two’s just first time anyone has pulled it off…
To add in All Stars how the groups groped into twos and three’s…
