Big Brother Craze

The alcohol is flowing as the houseguests that can eat shared a dinner. Memphis burned himself at the oven, but is fine - despite the fact they made us worry as they cut the feeds.

and THEN….

Ollie made his pitch to Dan. He asked to talk to him, but Dan decided to wash the dishes first, which didn’t make April happy at all, but they went outside afterwards to play basketball a little while under the watchful eye of Keesha (drunk) and Michelle (tipsy).

Dan: What’s the point of winning veto if you get nothing out of it?
Ollie: I agree. You should get something out of it. I don’t know what you have with other people…
Dan: I’m open to just about anything. I’d welcome Jerry & April to talk to me.

Ollie wants him to keep that conversation going with April, about her gold bars.He then says he’d be upset if Dan doesn’t use the veto, but not mad. He just wants to know if she’s going so that he can spend enough time with April before he goes as he can. Dan worries that Ollie will come after him -and Ollie says “Remove her from the block, and you won’t have to worry about that.”

Ollie goes and joins the drunk twins on the couch, then Michelle goes to follow Dan to the Hippie room to corner him and try and get some info about the POV and stuff. She’s not exactly letting him talk, but…

Michelle: Did you make a deal with Jerry?
Dan: no..
Michelle: well, I heard you were talking to him in the store room for a long time…
Dan: that’s the thing, see - no matter who I’m friends with, whatever the status of the game, I’m always willing to listen to someone who comes to me.
Michelle: that’s the thing. He called you Judas, why would.. I mean, I don’t understand. I wouldn’t have the balls to approach you if I said that.

Memphis comes in looking about the last beer, then wanders off to search some more/ask for some more. Michelle wants him to go to DR to ask for more alcohol, because it’s gone and it’s so early. And because it’s a girl in there, and he could flirt.

Now we’re back on Michelle talking how she doesn’t have deals, etc. Jerry told people he didn’t want to be there…

(Into super stealth whisper mode on Michelle’s part - and everytime Dan says “uhhuh” at normal volume he kills my eardrums.)

Ollie goes and tells April that if she offers him money, he would use the POV, but wandered if it would put him in danger. And Ollie says that he thought it would put him in danger with Renny, because Renny…

Ollie said he was 99% sure that they could vote to keep April with Michelle, and Ollie says that Dan said they were good. Then he says he doesn’t trust Dan at all.

April: but he would use the POV if I gave him money?
Ollie: that’s what he said. he says he has no agreement with anyone, and he said he’s been closer to me then anyone. I said I hope so. Even from what you did to April, let’s start fresh. He said ok, he’d think about it, but he never gave me a real word, but didn’t say no.

He goes in to break up Michelle/Dan. Ollie is telling Michelle that he had talked to Dan to keep April here, and that Michelle might do it, and if they did it… how would keeping JErry in the house benefit any of them. It’s game, and he wants them to know that. It’d benefit all of them to keep April there. If you don’t like her, have something against her, there’s nothing I can do - do you have anything against her? If you want her out, just tell me. I know you probably have agreements
Michelle: I don’t have agreements
Ollie: If you don’t then why would you keep Jerry over April? I don’t understand that, it doesn’t make any sense.

MIchelle: So I’m just throwing this out there - so if you were doing, where would I stand?
Ollie: I would never put you up, or you up. That’s my word, and April’s word. It’d be me, you Keesha, Renny April. It’s 6 guarunteed if it’s that way, with Jerry it’s only one person! you’d be crazy not to think about that…

Memphis busts in and totally breaks it up. Hahahha! So Michelle hightails it out to fill april in on all the things she’s been doing to flip the script. She’s working her butt off, for sure. Oy.

Jerry, Renny and Keesha are talking on the outside couches, while Dan/Memphis talk in the Hippie Room. Jerry is promising that the Renny/Keesha are safe with him. April is the strongest woman there.

In the hippie room.
Memphis: I’m just saying. If you take April off - Jerry’s going home. If you want to do that.. go for it.
Dan: I’m not, I’m just thinking… who would I lose..
Memphis: You’d lose Keesha. You wouldn’t lose me - well, you might, because April would put me up. Even if you took April off the block - who would she put up? Me.
Dan: Who would Renny put up…
Memphis: Me. No way she’d put up Ollie. Maybe MIchelle, but I think me.
Dan: Yeah.
Memphis: you use it, you gain one - but you also have the option to lose a lot more. You’d lose all the people thinking you’d keep it.
Dan: He (jerry) said staying would be a sign of loyalty.
Memphis: Yeah, just saying, anyone who got the replacement would be after you. Not me, but like, Michelle?
Dan: It just sucks to win something, and you can’t freakin use it.
Memphis: Look at it this way though - since you won it, you can’t be on the block. We gotta take Renny down though - she’s a lose cannon.
Dan: She (Keesha) won’t commit to that.
Memphis: I know.

Michelle and Keesha come in and break it up. Tipsy twins!

Whew. Ok - outside, Renny and Jerry are talking. They’re sure that Memphis and Dan have something, as well as Memphis and Michelle. Next week is a critical HOH - which is something they say every week. Heh.

Renny: I think Memphis is a strong competitor.
Jerry: He hasn’t won anything yet, though. That’s the thing, not mental or agility, or physical. He’s in there, but hasn’t won. I’m very very leery of Michelle, though. She’s very vindictive. If I’m still here..
Renny: You’ll still be here.
Jerry: If Dan doesn’t have something with Michelle.. I mean, she’d be my biggest worry. I think they’re in it together. Unless it’s the three of them? I don’t know.
Renny: I think so, and if that’s the case it’ll start coming out.
Jerry: We need to think about that when we get HOH. Talk about it and see whats going on.
Renny: Keesha and I are close, but I’m trying to convince her… and she.. I mean that’s waht I believe.
Jerry: Memphis won’t stay with Keesha. He’ll stay with Dan or Michelle. Michelle is strong and smart. She remembers everything. I feel that’s the alliance, they were on the outside. Keesha put them there, and they’re surivors and they’re the strongest two of the four.
Renny: It’s crucial next week.
Jerry: I’ll fight like hell. Did you tell her you wanted me to stay?
Renny: Yeah, absolutely.
Jerry: Oh, then they know. But if there’s 2 votes…
Renny: I have the votes for you. They know.
Jerry: oh, well Keesha says she’s pushing to keep April.
Renny: Yeah, but I had a meeting with her. I want April out.
Jerry: what did she say? I guess we’ll tell by the vote.
Renny: She’d be stupid to do that.
Jerry: The vote tells you everything.

Loads of fishes, as we’ve got bitching about production, and one of the girls in the DR a bitch - she’s always mean to the girls, and sweet on Jerry. Heh.

So, we’re back to gametime - with ice cream sundaes on the side. Now I want Ice cream more then ANYTHING…

Anyway - Dan/Memphis in the HIppie Room with the Ice Cream:

Dan’s torn about using the Veto now - he’s 80% not going to use it, but it’s hard to turn down $5k. Memphis knows that if this happens, he’ll likely go up, which is bad. It’s a numbers game, and they’re batting back and forth the numbers. Is keeping Keesha worth losing five grand? Is gaining April, Michelle and ollie “He’s worthless!” worth losing Keesha/Renny?

And what if they put Michelle up instead of Memphis - Michelle would be livid, and they’d lose her anyway. No one would vote Michelle out over Jerry. Memphis accused Dan of thinking like Renny, and they decide Dan needs to talk more to Michelle. They figure she wants April to stay, because she thinks it’s Memphis/Dan/Keesha/Renny. But Renny destroyed that by going against them and putting Jerry up and causing all the conflict. Dan says he’ll talk to Michelle more.

(Head spinning here)

Michelle joins Dan in the hippie room again, and he asks who she’d put up - she says not him. He asks as a replacement, and she says she doesn’t know. Dan says he has no alliance/crew, and she points out he’s cool with three people. He says he’s not in an alliance and asks if he’s ever lied to her.

April joins, and he asks who she’d put up. She said she didn’t have anything against anyone, but probably Memphis. She talks for a while, then leaves and Michelle/Dan start whispering again. They’re talking numbers, and how it would be with who. Michelle says she doesn’t know what to do, have to make the decision right for them, whoever stays. They could stay with both ways, go with both ways. Can’t float forever.

A lotta numbers and scenarios going on… pointing and whispers. There’s a lot of “I think… wait…” and “I don’t know..” happening as Michelle and Dan go through the numbers and what if scenarios.

Meanwhile, Keesha and Renny are in the back yard, talking alone. Michelle lied to Keesha, and she sees right thru her, Renny is sure that memphis/dan/michelle have a deal, and Keesha doesn’t think Dan is with them.

—so, while I stepped out to talk to my son who just had his first girlfriend break up with him to ‘preserve their friendship’ after just three days and no real actual date - the following went on in the house—

Ollie and April trashed Michelle for daring to stick up for April, and how it seemed she couldn’t get a swing vote even after all they did for her last week. Keesha and Dan talked in the living room, and he asks her what he should do - she doesn’t say anything straight up, until they talk some more. April offered him money, and Keesha and Dan both haven’t won anything (Well, Keesha anyway) and Keesha swears he wouldn’t put him up if she gets HOH. Memphis walks by, and Dan says he wants to trust him, but… he and Michelle have been friends a long time. Dan tells Keesha if she’s playing him, he’ll be so pissed. Keesha says if anyone played her like that, she’d never vote for them in the end.

She tells him she doesn’t think he should use the POV, and he gets called to the DR.

And now he goes to talk to Renny, after finding Memphis and Keesha sleeping.

Renny: She offer you money?
Dan: well not a specific dollar amount, but it’s like, would it be worth it? I can’t see myself doing it, but there’s a part of me. I don’t think five thousand dollars is worth it.
Renny: Well..
Dan: that’s why I’m talking to you - I want you to trust me.
Renny: I’ve been trying to get her out since day one. I mean now, she’s walking around different because she doesn’t have any power, but when she has some control, she’s a beast! There’s no amount of money she could pay me, but I don’t have the POV. But that’s me… would it be worth 5k?
Dan: no.. its just in my life I’ve never had anyone say here’s five k! It’s a lot of money, I mean, not, but..
Renny: yeah, if you did something like that…
Dan: you’d be pissed…
Renny: Me! And keesha too - and she likes you. I don’t think it’s at the point you know.. April’d do anything to stay in this game, but if she does, it’s her, Ollie, Jerry again, taking in Michelle and they’d have the power.
Dan: yeah..
Renny: You do waht you wanna do. Personally, 5k? It seems like a lot of money, but it’s not worht the risk of 500k.
Dan: yeah, but like. If there was one of my friends in the house - I wouldn’t sell them out for 5k, so why would I do that here? It’s just the fact that, I’ve never seen that kinda money. But..
Renny: Yeah, that’s the only thing she has though, just the money. So lets say you do, you get 5k, they can’t wait to win HOH put your name up and take you out. The numbers wouldn’t be an advantage. That’s what I figure.
Dan: Yeah, and I hope this talk stays right here. It would be stupid to lose everything I’ve built to this point.
Renny: it’d cost you though, I think. You may walk out with five, but…
Dan: Yeah. it just feels good to talk with somoene about it.
Renny: She’s got a lot of stuff, you know? She’s got that stuff and the money - she had the money, the power.. then the clothes? too much. Can you imagine if she won? And then say you did this.. she won, you got your five, you never know if you could have won.
Dan: yeah, I no.

Dan:You made me very nervous, you know?
Renny: I know, everyone was about being a pawn. You try to not make enemies - if you did that you know you’d make a lot of enemies if you did that.
Dan: Well, like I said, I was pretty set when I came up here, but just wanted tot alk.
Renny: I think it’s a gut feeling in here, and if you took the five, I’d have to turn on you, Keesha would, and that would suck…
Dan: yeah, I wouldn’t do it to my friends, so why would I do it here?
Renny: Yeah, it’s a lot of money, but this is a bigger chance, a lot of money, with number dwindling. You get one shot, you might as well make the most of it. 5k might blind somoene just because its the money, but to risk what would happen? I might be wrong, but too many numbers agianst you..

Dan: yeah, and I hope you don’t think I was actually considering it, it’s just…
Renny: I know it’s a lot of money for a young man, but the risk… I think you’d regret it. WHy make it tough on yourself? What you tell her, you have to think about it?
Dan: I didn’t tell her anything.

Dan: i just hope this lets you trust me.
Renny: I just don’t think it’d be a good move.
Dan: and you know the colonel would go with the power, wouldn’t take him to get you gone.
Renny: yeah, unless… no. that’d be too dangerous. I’d be so happy that you won the veto and showed everyone - that was a great win, a hard deal!
Dan: yeah, thanks Renny, I appreciate it.
Renny: hope I helped you out.
Dan: Yeah, talked to keesha a little too.
Renny: I think you’ll feel better for it, too.
Dan: yeah, there’s some people here that are genuine, and it’d be hard being with someone who’s shady vs. someone who’s been genuine.
Renny: Yeah, we’re all in this game for ourselves, too. You have to feel better about yourself. And if you took five thousand and got the hook?
Dan: yeah, and there might be other stuff coming…
Renny: yeah,I haven’t won anything, and who knows… you might win $20k!
—hahahah. little do you know, Renny-roo.

Dan: I don’t want you to think that I’d be tempted by money all the time, it was just, never had anyone do that kinda thing, so had to at least think.
Renny: Yeah, she’d be a beast…
Dan: Just don’t thinkI’m gonna be weak and tempted..
Renny: no - I didn’t expect you to ask my opinion even.

Dan: thanks Renny!
Renny: I certainly wouldn’t sell you up the river and say take the five! I’m not like that.

Dan leaves - and we’re back to noms being the same. If, indeed, we ever really left. Yeesh.

- and Memphis and Dan finally get a moment alone on the backyard couches as Jerry heads to bed at last.

Dan: You just start talking about scenarios and different things, but I’m not going to use it, and I know we haven’t shaken yet, but I’ll put it on Monica if you want, but…
Memphis: You don’t have to put anything on her.
Dan: I think we should shake on it though. One two, to the end, death before dishonor, you know?
Memphis: I got you man.

Dan: Thanks, I just know there’s coming a time when we might ahve to fight tooth and nail. And 5 grand might not be a lot to you, but it was just.. wow.
Memphis: Yeah, I was gonna say if you were still thinking that, would you do it if there were only four between you and the prize? I mean if it was worth it, we could do it, but the numbers?
Dan: Yeah.I just don’t want you to think I’d sell you out. I won’t.

Memphis: We just need to figure out Jerry.
Dan: If we could calm him down… you know we might not even have to worry next week.
Memphis: I just can’t read him. He’s a nice man, but..
Dan: He changes when he gets power. Yeah. Saw that with the Veto. Look at his history, he’ll go with the power.
Memphis: I’m just worried about HOH.
Dan: We’d have to go to him and wheel and deal. He’d take it.
Memphis: I just hate that, because soon as you do, he’ll got ell someone. That’s the one thing he keeps doing in this game. If he makes an alliance, he goes and tells everyone.
Dan: That’s worse case scenario. That’s like the red button behind the glass - don’t want to hit it, but it’s there if you have too.

Memphis: I’m concerned about Michelle and Ollie. I think he’ll attach to her.
Dan: You got a little bead on her, what she’d do.
Memphis: Yeah, she’d go after Jerry, but I don’t know that she’d put up ollie.
Dan: We’d just have to deal with that.
Memphis: that’s why I want to see Ollie go - get Michelle alone, as that would be a plus for us. She’d go with us…
Dan: She thought me, you and Keesha had something.
Memphis: I told her no! She doesn’t believe anything.
Dan: Yeah, she was all you and Memphis hang out.. but you know, he threw me under the buss with Angie, and I tried to backdoor him week one, we haven’t for got that.
Memphis: (chuckles) yeah.
Dan: How much to we need to win this week?
Memphis: Depends. If it’s me, you, Keesha, let her have it. She won’t put us up.
Dan: Have to go into it to win it. I hate those questions. Think we’re due for an endurance though.
Memphis: We are. Don’t think this week, next week though.
Dan: If for some reason me, you or Keesha don’t get it - we still control who goes out.
Memphis: Long as we’re not on the block.

Memphis: Who do you want to see final four? Who can we beat?
Dan: yeah, MIchelle, she’d be tough to beat.
Memphis: Yeah, she’d be hard.
Dan: Keesha, I don’t think her - but she’s good at questions.
Memphis: Renny’s strong too.
Dan: We could wear Renny down though. Michelle we couldn’t. Much as she screwed up this week, we might have to take her.

Memphis: if renny wins, 5 out? She’d mess it up. If we did though, we could put Michelle/Renny up, and make the decision then.
Dan: Yeah, if we get to final five and Michelle wins it..
Memphis: yeah. You never know what people are thinking - Michelle’s probably thinking the same thing. She knows she can beat Renny/Keesha.

Dan: at some point we’re gonna have to alternate, you win one, I win one.
Memphis: Yeah, I know. Even if Ollie wins, you Keesha and Michelle can control the votes if I go up.
Dan: Yeah, you just gotta keep your thumb on Michelle.

Dan: I think Keesha’s the closest thing to a sure thing we can count on.
Memphis: For sure. I agree.
Dan: prior to this week I thought she could control Renny, but..
Memphis: Yeah that ain’t gonna happen.
Dan: She always makes me nervous - lurking around..
Memphis: yeah. she’s kinda nuts, man. A little off the reservation a little. She reminds me of the aunts on the simpsons.
Dan: The twins that don’t shave or whatever?
Memphis: yeah! She looks just like them… (both laugh)
Dan: thing is, she gets to the end, she’ll have sympathy and respect, she’s fought her ass up this whole game.
Memphis: yeah, I agree.

Dan: I think we’re alright though. No need to force anything.
Memphis: Yeah, it’d be bad.

Dan: I just wish we could trust Renny more.
Memphis: she’s gonna pop off soon, I can see it. Like if Keesha is up and she has to make that choice? She’s gonna lose her shit. I can see it…
Dan: I just don’t like how she calls people out in front of people, it’s so awkward… like I see you sneaking around at night, talking to Memphis, stupid shit like that.

Dan: I’m gonna hit the sack, Renegades survive another week!
Memphis: that’s right, gotta win some shit this week.
Dan: start picking them off.
Memphis: yeah.

It’s now 1:30 am bb time, and everyone is in their beds, all tucked in and sleeping soundly. Which means, of course, that’s where I’m headed as well. Night ya’ll!
