“Missing the touch of Carol”?

by Lessa

Me too! That’s why I was so glad she consented to do an interview with us here at Big Brother Craze! Enjoy! (FYI - the title is a reference to one of the Quarter’s rules by the houseguests. Live Feed watchers know what I mean!)

~~~
Thanks for taking the time to talk with us here at Big Brother Craze, Carol! While it sucks to be the first voted out, I think you have some valuable insight on the other houseguests that we might not have thought of! So let’s get to it!
BBC: As a recruit to be on the show as part of the Enemies Twist, what went through your mind when you were contacted to be on the show? Did you have any idea what you were getting yourself into?
Carol: I had no idea what I was getting myself into, I initially thought it would be a lot of fun and that it was an opportunity that I could not pass up
BBC: What kind of strategy did you enter the house with, and would you do differently if you had the chance?
Carol: I had no strategy when I entered the house and yes I would do things completely different now.
BBC: How surprised were you to see Jessica walk down those stairs? How did you feel you’re rivalry compared to the others of the house?
Carol: I was shocked that she was there, at the time I thought our rivalry was a big joke in comparison to the others
BBC: After leaving the house the first week, how much of the show did you watch? Did you watch BBAD or the feeds?
Carol: I think I might have missed 1 or 2 episodes and I never watched the bbad
BBC: One thing almost all houseguests have in common, is that they think they aren’t portrayed correctly on the network shows. How do you feel CBS portrayed you?
Carol: I was not there long enough to be portrayed a certain way. possibly just as the naive recruit who did not want to be there in the first place
BBC: Do you think they portrayed the other houseguests fairly?
Carol: yeah for the most part, they emphasized the bad side of everyone and showed very little of the good qualities of the other house guests
BBC: Could you describe each houseguest for us as one who knows them better then we could? Many folks say “in one word”, but we won’t limit you here at BBC - feel free to type away and include any 1st impressions vs. any changes since leaving the House?
Carol: I would rather not at this point :)
BBC: You had the unique perspective of seeing the America’s Player twist played out almost from the beginning. What do you think of the twist, and how Eric shouldered the load of AP?
Carol: I thought it was a great idea, however easily manipulated throughout the process
BBC: Do you think AP adversely affected your game, or that of the other houseguests? How so?
Carol: I think it affected the other houseguests more than it did me
BBC: You mentioned elsewhere that you almost didn’t attend the finale due to people you didn’t want to see or speak with and there have been rumors of you not getting along with Eric’s brothers in particular - what happened?
Carol: I talked to Eric’s brothers a little bit but just about Eric. I don’t think it was them I was not getting along with, I basically just told them my honest opinion about Eric and perhaps they took it in a different manner. a big part of me did not want to go simply because I just wanted the whole experience to be over with and there are people that I had to see that I would have preferred to have never seen again. however it was good to get some closure to the situation.
BBC: You also said many things went unsaid that night - anything else you’d care to voice now?
Carol: not really, just know that I never voiced my opinion over what went on in the house once I was gone. there were so many things I wanted to say to every one but I just chose to keep my mouth shut as did many others
BBC: On the other end of the spectrum, the internets are abuzz with how cute you and Vincent looked together in the wrap party pictures - any sparks a flying there? (grin) You know how we fans love the show hook-ups!
Carol: ha ha.. well I actually talked to him a lot before the show ever ended just to talk about the show, Dick, and Daniele. He is such a great guy and I had a blast getting to know him better. perhaps there is a little crush there but being in Kansas nothing will happen. we still talk a little bit over myspace.
BBC: Had you stayed in the house longer, how do you think you would have handled the notorious Evel Dick? If you had a vote, would you have given it to him or Daniele?
Carol: I don’t know how I would have reacted to dick to be honest…I liked him while I was there. I definitely would have voted for dick over Daniele
BBC: As many of the first evictees over the seasons, it often seemed you never really left, because your name was brought up daily by all of the houseguests, in a variety of ways. What did you make of the way the other houseguests spoke about you after you left?
Carol: I could not stand how much I was talked about, they honestly had nothing better to do with their time.
BBC: And last but not least, the question we ask all houseguests - if given the chance, would you do it again?
Carol: only if Jessica was not there.
~~~

Thanks so much for taking the time to ‘talk’ with us at Big Brother Craze! I sure appreciate it!

Do you have other questions for Carol? Leave them in the comments, and I’ll see if she will do a follow-up once we have a few together!
