My Hamster Watchin’ Opinions: Eric, Jameka, Jen, Kail, Mike, Zach
America’s Player, Eric!
Seriously, could they have picked anyone better? The kid is a total goofball, and cracks me up every single day. His laugh is infectious, and he’s genuinely liked by everyone. Everyone thinks there’s something a little odd about him, and we all know that’s because he’s waiting on us to tell him what to do. Despite that oddness and his refusal to commit to any alliance fully, everyone adores him - me included!
One thing you don’t see a lot of on CBS just yet is how smart this kid really is. He’s given a lot of good advice, and he has a caring heart and strong shoulders used to listen to everyone. Sure, that also gets him farther along in the game, but I think it’s his personality more then gameplay. He’s a guy who’d be fantastically fun to hang out - and him and Jessica together? Comedy GOLD. They are currently - as in RIGHT THIS MINUTE - taking a bubble bath together in the HOH room. I don’t think I’ve seen so much CUTE in one bathtub since my kids were little! - See?

And Jessica keeps telling him to “Stay on YOUR side of the tub!” as he tells her the same.
Jameka
I wasn’t too sure about Jameka at first. She seemed too quiet, too much a floater, to unsettled. As the weeks have gone on though, I really like her. She’s got a steady head on her shoulders and is the biggest support system anyone in the house has. Her role as a councilor has come into play more then once, and when she’s not driving me crazy with her “Ummmhmmm”’s that make it impossible to hear whoever is whispering to her, she’s very insightful. This of course means that if she makes it to the final two? She’ll be absolutely impossible to beat.
Jen
Is there anyone on earth more shallow and one-dimensional then this chick? SERIOUSLY? Can anyone use the word “like” more times in a sentence? Sure, she’s hot and knows it, but she relies on that too much - there HAS to be something more to her. Seriously, there HAS to be. She makes the most inane, stupid comments sometimes. I cringe when I have to look at her too much - really.
She does get kudo’s from me, however, for how she takes the shit Dick throws at her, and doesn’t let it bother her at all. Everything seems to roll off her back, and even Dick has complimented her on that. Seriously - Dick and Jen would be the most formidable team in the house if they could see their way to that. I do think that anyone put up against Jen could beat her, depending on the Sequester Jury. But please. DITCH THE SHIRTS. Ugh.
Kail
Oy. She wanted the men of the house to protect her, because that’s what her husband does. She jumped into bed (figuratively) with the strongest, best looking boys and thought that was a good idea. She went back on her word, she lied, she manipulated, she chose the wrong thing to get her out of her shell. There’s nothing wrong with being quiet, but she holed up in the HOH room for two weeks (her week, and then with Jen) and didn’t foster any relationships with the rest of the house. She finally spoke when she decided “Evel” (Who she refuses to call by name - calling him only ‘evel’) was after her and went balls to the wall to every person in the house. Bad move, Kail… just like having your speech for final two already written. There’s a lot of weeks between now and final two!
Also? Will you let me watch some large sum of money for you? We can shake hands on it…
Mike
Who? As Eric said repeatedly the first two weeks, the other Houseguests have seen Mike a grand total of 30 minutes since they arrived. Sure, it’s an exaggeration, but he is the epitome of the Strong Silent type. He works out, he drinks 8 huge water bottles a day, he only JUST NOW started to come out and talk to people. Again - waiting till week three is NOT the way to do this. He also jumped into an alliance right away, also not the good thing. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll get to see much more of you for that. Sigh. And you look so pretty working out in the sunlight…
Zach
I started out liking Zach. He had a sense of humor that was hard to beat - unfortunately, that sense of humor has gotten worse, and is starting to get on everyone’s nerves. He makes comments out of the blue that contribute nothing to the conversation, and usually the statements are in very bad taste. He has a healthy competitive spirit, but now he’s trying too hard with the rest of the house. He is the root of MANY awkward moments in the house, and folks are gunning for him next. Poor guy is getting depressed about it too, he feels the tension but doesn’t seem to realize that it’s him causing it. I swear, I knew half a dozen guys like him in high school. I always hoped they’d grow out of it - apparently some don’t.
And there you have it - my opinions on all the houseguests to date! Of course, they are all subject to change at whim. *L*

I’m glad I’m not the only one changing my mind about Zach. I loved him at first - but not so much now. And I love Eric! I hope he goes far!

Even though I dislike him more now? I do kinda feel bad for him too. Zach is trying so hard to fit in again, and the houseguests are outright treating him like shit. That triggers my “aww stray puppy! must protect” mode… even if I wanna kick him.
If he gets HOH on Thursday I will DIE. seriously!
