Big Brother Craze

You know how it goes in the BB house! All the comps in the first few days and then scurrying hamsters spreading paranoia under the guise of ’strategizing’ - this week is no different. I am going to try and get through this without any spoilers, since there’s the show tonight where they’ll show the POV competition and meeting. I think I can, I think I can!

As we saw on Sundays show, Daniele won HOH and put up Jen and Kail for the third week in a row. We also saw her say to the group that she would put up Zach if the POV was used, and then we also see her and Dick putting together the grandest conspiracy theory of them all, against Eric. Clearly Eric is her real target for the week.

So what is this based on? The fun thing about seeing the feeds, and such, is that we can tell when they’re way off course, and completely delusional. So let’s gather some of their points and play a little True or False.

1. Eric is the leak to Kail.
False. Dustin is the leak to Kail, but it’s getting blamed on Eric as circumstantial evidence.

2. Eric is behind the two stray votes.
True, but also…

3. Eric is doing so to set up Daniele/Amber/Any combination that works in the current theory so that the group distrusts them.
…false. We, of course, know the real reason Eric threw those votes. Because we told him too. Don’t even get me started on how we messed that up!

4. Eric is a liar!
True - but who ISN’T lying in this game? It’s a GAME. And one that’s based on strategy and deceit. Let’s get to some of the Lies attributed to Eric:

5. Eric lied about the handshake between Nick/Zach/Mike that he saw in the kitchen.
This is false. This handshake DID happen. I saw it. There was another handshake in the storage room, also, that Zach has owned up too, but he’s completely forgotten, or lied himself about the one in the corner of the kitchen.

6. Eric told Dick/Daniele that Amber/Dustin would be ousted first of the LNC 7, then he told Amber/Dustin that it would be Dick/Daniele.
This is true. However, he told the ENTIRE five that the first would be Dick/Daniele. The only he told the Amber/Dustin too was Dick, because who in their right mind would say to Dick “You’re out first as soon as we’re down to the LNC 7″? That’s just asking for Dick to jump into your face! In fact, Eric made that point to the rest of the five recently, saying exactly that “Why wouldn’t I tell them that?!”

7. Eric told Dick/Daniele that he’d put up Amber/Dustin, and get Dustin out first because then Amber would be worthless.
Sorta true - there was a conversation that involved those words. However, this conversation was started by DICK. Dick has made the emotional basket case argument about Amber on numerous occasions.

8. Eric lead the charge to get out Nick.
False. While Eric argued most convincingly, AMBER - you know, the one who never lies and always swears on her “daughter’s life, may God strike her dead” - was the first to tell Dustin “We should backdoor Nick.” Dick never once said that they shouldn’t, he didn’t argue to stay, and the only one who did argue to keep Nick always was Daniele. But ERIC did not start, push or complete the charge. It was a group decision that they pinning on him to take the emotional fall.

9. And then there’s the banner. Has everyone forgotten that Amber’s name was on that banner too? Amber who bashes all New Yorkers, and Jew’s in particular for being greedy and selfish? Amber who cries over everything, who forgets that the cameras are on 24/7 and spreads the most disgusting stories about herself to more then one person, but gets upset when someone knows said stories? Um… (Granted, Eric crossed the line with the threat to use said story, but I think he’s realized that was a mistake at this point and won’t do it.) And AMBER - the one who told Nick she didn’t know anything about the back door plan, the one who swore she’d not vote to evict him - the one who knew and started the ball rolling to get him evicted AND voted to evict him… Yeah. Eric’s the only liar in that house…

There are others, but those are the ones that are bantered about most. Daniele is working on a personal vendetta (against the WRONG PERSON), not strategy, as the whole LNC 7 declared, and the new LNC 5 realize. She’s also letting Dick run her HOH, and hiding behind her dad’s outbursts. Dick has zero strategy. He has half-baked theories and delusions of grandeur, where he’s done “everything for the group!” and has put everything out there for everyone to see, he’s been “nothing but honest with the whole house!”

Truth of the matter is - Dick simply can’t keep his mouth shut. You tell him something and five minutes later he’s off and “calling them out” at the top of his lungs with extra curse words. It’s always his view, which he believes the whole house must see and act on according to his wishes. Dick has gone from amusing, to paranoid and irritating.

Hopefully Eric can keep it together just a little bit longer, and at least make sequester! Also - rumor has it there will be another “Big Twist” on Thursday? The rumor mill suggests it’s probably the double eviction week, which isn’t so much as a Big Twist, as an Annual Event. Ha!
