Big Brother Craze

THERE we go! 12:39 am and we get Trivia and I’m here for the long haul. Hopefully not TOO long a haul, though, right? You know the drill, all the aftermath, and the winner, after the pretty, pretty button!

2:43 and the feeds are back and DAN WON THE POV! OMG! I literally just JUMPED and CLAPPED and scared the hell out of my cat. WOOOHOOOO!!!

Dan: I can’t believe it. I never win anything! I never even get questions right.

He says something about the 8 inch nails were close together on the board - Michelle and April say something about “staying” on things and it was luck of the draw. Sounds like it might have been like the stay/fold game that James won last season? Not sure, exactly.

Dan goes in and to sit on the edge of Jerry’s bed.

Dan: I’d like to talk 1 on 1 tomorrow. Good competition, Jerry.

Jerry agrees, pats him on the back, and now Dan hangs up the POV on the memory board and is staring at it.

meanwhile, April and Ollie are sitting in Angie’s old bed. Ollie hugs her.

Ollie: you’re going to stay, don’t worry about it.
April: I could tell Dan that I have money we can talk about.
Ollie: the money you give them could get their trust back. Talk to Dan all day about getting Jerry out of the house. You have two votes, you just need two more.

—no, Ollie, she only needs 1 more. But you’re counting on Michelle… and no one knows where she’s going to vote, really. not even me.

Keesha passes by Dan, where he’s staring at the memory wall.

Keesha: You’re not gonna change it are you?
Dan: Probably not… but don’t tell anyone just because…
Keesha: I know, I know, of course.

April is telling Ollie that she’s always saved Dan, and Ollie ads that he was always asking if he was safe and Ollie would tell him yes, and he owes them. (….uh. huh?) Ollie is certain that Jerry will go home over April, and she thanks him for making her feel better and heads to shower. She walks past Dan, without a word.

Dan tells Memphis he needs to talk to Renny tomorrow, and that he’s gonna talk to Jerry too. He looks a little more stressed now then before the POV, actually.

Memphis: He’s not the smartest guy in the world. He probably thought he could win by folding. (to Dan, probably about Jerry.)

Dan heads to the shower, where Michelle and Keesha are in the shower, April’s waiting. He lays down to wait on the chair there, says something about a long day - April says nothing.

Renny comes into the bathroom.

REnny: How you feel Mr.Dan?
Dan: Overwhelmed to be honest - I never won anything. When he went up 2-0, I thought it was a longshot.
Renny: If he would have stayed on one of them, he would have won.

Renny: You know what I did? my 30 foot snake?
Dan: it’s the biggest snake I’ve ever seen in my life…
(OK, I can’t even go here. I’m HIGHLY phobic. I’m not gonna LIKE this comp…)

Definitely sounds like the one James one last year, with the numbered items, chains, pushpins and the like - guessing how many, then folding/staying… though this one apparently had a snake and nails. ew.

Renny goes to the hippie room, shares a quiet moment of celebration with Memphis. He says he doesn’t know what Dan is going to do, then says goodnight. She says goodnight to everyone in the bathroom. She then sits for a minute next to day, pats his hand and tells him he made his students proud.

Renny: you were in your element doing that. you were perfect
Michelle: thanks for picking me, I loved it!

Renny says goodnight again and heads upstairs to the HOH.

There were voodoo dolls in their likenesses with pins in them too - Michelle wants hers, but they didn’t get them because of all the pins.

April: congrats again Dan.

April heads to bed, hops into bed with Ollie for a minute, then back to her own.

Keesha: you ok Dan?
Dan: been a long day
Michelle: Fod competition, noms, eatin crickets…
Keesha: Poor Dan, he’s exhausted.

Ollie: why wouldn’t they keep you here?
April: I’m the strongest player! Obviously not though, if Dan’s winning competitions.

They want to get to Dan before Jerry does, before Jerry has a chance to offer Dan his money from the last POV.

Ollie: You have too much to give. You can’t go home this early.
—Ollie, we don’t care what she gives you under the covers.

Renny and Keesha are at the kitchen table, sharing a quite moment of anticipation of telling April goodbye, then fish. Most houseguests are heading to bed - Feeds back, everyone is going to bed.

(Methinks BB said hey! go the heck to bed! Thank you BB! This bb addict is headed to bed too. Till tomorrow! (or in my case, 4.5 more hours.) )
