So who are our couples?
It’s always fun to guestimate who we think are going top be part of the big twist - and this year EVERYONE is a part! So who are our ’soul mates’? Who’s going to hook up, be shook up, or hate the very site of their partner/bedmate? Bblue has posted some ideas on the previous post, and I think they’re pretty good guesses. Let’s see what we come up with after digging into the cast member’s bios. On first glance last night - there’s a lot of lost dads, close to moms, military backgrounds and the like:
Joshuah and Neil: No brainer, as they’re the gay ones. Joshuah might make it interesting with claiming bisexuality too, so who knows… possibility of drama? High.
Joshuah’s parents apparently couldn’t spell (ha!) but that has nothing to do with anything. He’s gay, has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and grew up closeted and even had long relationships with women. He came out after sleeping with his sister’s cheerleading coach, something his family hasn’t forgiven him for. He’s an exhibitionist, and considers himself actually bisexual - he likes the all American boys and female floosies if I remember right. He loves football, and hates snakes.
Neil is also gay, and a realtor. He is extremely close to his mother, enjoys all manner of sports and playing ding-dong ditch with his little brother. Awww. He says he’s loyal, outgoing and energetic.

Adam and Amanda: Close to mom, romantic, aggressive/strong woman smart… Yeah, seems similar enough.
Amanda is smart (bachelor’s degree in Paralegal/political science), loves her mother who she says is her best friend, has lost her father, and she considers herself to be the strong one of the family. A hopeless romantic that loves to cook, she loves to motivate her friends, loves football, and has 2 cats.
Adam has a masters degree in fashion and works organizing events as a PR manager. He’s extremely close to his mother, and likes aggressive (strong) women as he’s not easily intimidated. He talks a big game, and wants to settle disagreements now rather then later.

Jacob and Natalie are both religious, so it would be obvious to put these two together, but I’m not sure. I’m thinking his childhood sweetheart may be a bigger connection, leading too this coupling instead: Jacob and Sharon. Note the designed tattoos as well…
Jacob an ex-Marine, he works as an electrician. He’s traveled the world, and is trying to move on from his last relationship. He still has feelings for his childhood sweetheart. Funny, and caring, he likes wakeboarding, soccer model cars. He has three tattoos, one which his ex designed. He’s religious and a churchgoer.
Sharon is another military brat - her dad is a Marine - and says she adapts easily to any situation. She’s been in a 12 year on again off again relationship with the boy who followed her home in 8th grade. Loud and dramatic, she has a tattoo she designed herself, a cat and a dog. She loves drama.

James and Chelsia: The wild child connection suggests these two kids will be paired up. Crazy, drinking, partying, wild, competitive…. yeah. Though, if he likes older women, it’s possible Sheila might be in here somewhere too.
James considers himself homeless as he’s currently taking a break from biking halfway around the world without cash. Nice. Favorite movie is Fight Club, and he claims he has different personalities depending on mood. And has threatened to be naked all the time by week 4. He too is close with his mom, and was engaged to an older woman at one point.
Chelsia is still in school studying German before moving to Austria to continue her studies. She’s the typical party girl, wild sincere and competitive. She loves motorcycles and has a pet that she calls her baby (Evil Dick hates her already! Haha!) Pierced and tattood, she loves to watch football, dance, drink, and watch movies.

Speaking of Sheila… let’s pair her up next (assuming she doesn’t go for the wild n crazy James.) How about Sheila and Alex: Maybe his true romantic side will win her over.
Sheila is the oldest in the house - indeed, the only one not in her 20s. She was a Penthouse Pet of the year in 1984, and loves to call herself a Cougar as she adores younger men. She has a temper, but stands up to those who try to intimidate her. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, is a single mom, and says her sister is her hero. (I think her bio is worded strangely - I believe her sister is the one with five kids who donated a kidney - not Sheila, making her a hero in her eyes.)
Alex was raised by a single mom, meeting his dad in high school then losing him on 9/11. He has a bachelors degree in business, and is working on a second masters in childhood education. He owns his own DJ business, like dancing, hockey and soccer. He has turtles as pets, and says he’s a true romantic.

Ryan and Jen: These two have each other on their myspace profile pictures, and are both from Columbus. She says she has a boyfriend, while he says he’s looking. Are they ex’s? Or still together? Could go either way, but for now we’ll stick them together. It’s obvious, but often times the most obvious is the most true.
Ryan is used to being the center of attention, has a tendency to be loud and stubborn. He’s looking for someone pretty, intelligent, motivated and aware. He has a pet Pit Bull terrier and loves basketball.
Jen she’s a party girl who loves boys even though she’s loyal to her current boyfriend (Um, what happened to 16 singles, there, Grodner?) She’s got a bachelor’s degree in education, has a pet dog, and turtle and she’s never missed a season of Big Brother. She’s pierced and tattoo’d, loves to shop, hang with friends and watch football.

That leaves four I’m not sure of - so we’re gonna just randomly put them together.
Allison and Matt: Why? Because they’re both a bit manipulative - she juggles guys and he’ll say anything to get what he wants. Close enough!
Allison has a bachelor’s degree of arts/psychology and has traveled abroad to study. She works in pharmaceutical sales, does pottery and paints. She used to gamble, but lost horribly, so doesn’t do it anymore. She says she’s confident agile and sexy, she’s worked with orphans, loves to exercise, read and paint. She’s juggled more then two men at a time and says women usually hate her.
Matt was extremely close with his dad, who died when he was nine. He keeps exes around for booty calls, except the most recent one who flirts to make him angry. He will say anything to anyone to get what he wants and has a thick Boston accent. He too has a pet turtle. He loves sports and any music that has soul.

Natalie and Parker: because they’re the last two left.
Natalie says that God made the human body so she likes to show it off - I’m thinking he didn’t make hers exactly as it appears now. (Smirk) She’s a military brat, who says she’s religious and takes her bible everywhere. She serves coffee in a bikini. She loves football, and wants someone strong, smart, religious. She has two cats and a dog.
Parker has a bachelor’s degree in radio/television and works for TMZ. He was in the Air Force for three years, and was raised by a single mom. He loves socializing and laughing at other people and doing anything except working. He has pet lizards, three tattoos and digs Desperate Housewives and Weeds.
