Big Brother Craze

Last time, on Big Brother 8…. Yup, it’s Recap time.

We rejoin our favorite hamsters just after the nomination ceremony, where Jessica and Jameka were nominated, on Day 63. Zach says he’s judge. jury and he’s the dream crusher. Jameka says her instinct says Zach is in something with ED and Daniele. Jessica says Zach told her that he isn’t holding last week against her - which is a load of crap. Eric knows that he let down Jessica, it was exactly what she was afraid of.

Jessica and Jameka talk about the speech, and laugh that he feels threatened by two girls, and they want Eric to win POV because it’s the perfect scenario. Jameka of course wants to be in the final three with Jessica, so bad.

Daniele joins Zach in the HOH. They talk about Jessica’s evil smile, and Zach doesn’t feel bad because Jessica let Eric do all the talking for her, and they laugh at Eric’s twitching. They agree that the worse case scenario is if Eric won it, naturally.

Eric is upset, and tells Jameka that he’s not doing well and really taking it all hard. (This is the night he did a voluntary DR session to try and clear his head.) He says he really cares for Jessica and he feels like a heel and he’s going to lose the game and the person he really cares about. He tells us he’s doing what he needs to do to support America and play our game. It’s his dream, and it’s turning into a nightmare, because he may have to hurt the person he cares most about.

Dinner time, and story time! We see Jessica’s story about the girl scout convention, where she said she wanted to be a waitress or the first female president. Daniele tells us she’s been a waitress since she was little, and here’s Dick and Daniele’s spat when she thinks he equated being a waitress to being a stripper. She tells us she puts him in his place and that makes him mad. Dick tries to talk to her about it, about how he can’t say anything without attitude, and she gives him the cold shoulder. He tells us he can’t stand the way that she talks to him, and doesn’t thinks he can see how she talks to him. “What don’t you put me in here with one of my ex-wives! It’d been the same thing!”

Cut to Eric and Jessica, talking about the nominations. Jessica says she knew it would be her, but not which they’d be against. They too think Eric winning would be the bests scenario (Way to set us up for a fall CBS!) They talk about the votes, and how they need to be on D/D’s side. She digs a little at Eric about her wanting Amber to stay, then says she’s over it. Ha.

The Hamsters are all sleeping, and here comes Janelle into the back yard, where it’s all done up in pink. Zach comes out and wakes them up and tells them it’s time for the Veto Competition! Daniele says it was like a pink bedroom, a spinning chair, and rose petals and she loves it because it’s pink. Eric tells Jessica they might be at the wedding. Eric calls Janelle Ms. Piggy and makes a comment and here comes Janelle to host the competition. Dick tells us Eric is a dumbass, and Eric says he’s hated. Jessica loves Janelle too and Janelle and Daniele exchange compliments.

As the all time veto winner - 7 in case we’ve forgotten - Janelle whipped up something that needs brains, balance and the will to win. One at a time they wll spin for 60 seconds, follow the trail, and place the names of the swirled faces. hit the button - they’ve 4 minutes to identify as many as possible, the one with the most points wins POV - time for Janelle-o-vision!

Daniele goes first, and is spinning as she tells us she prefers Eric doesn’t win. She stares at the memory wall, so she knows the pictures, color of shirts, everything. She is dinging all over the place… Next is Jameka. She gets up and is all kinds of dizzy, and she’s at a loss at first, but keeps fighting. Janelle is applauding and encouraging, but she’s out of time. It’s time for Dick - and flirts, of course. He tells us it’s been over two months since there’s been a hot girl he could flirt with. He wants to win to impress Janelle, and he walks toward the puzzle, where Janelle is distracting him by her mere presence. They’re flirting, and Daniele is rolling her eyes, and Zach says It’s like watching a 16 year old get ready for prom.

Eric’s turn, and he’s so dizzy he falls on his ass and almost falls into the pool. (cracking UP!) He wants it badly, and feels the weight of the world on his shoulders - But he’s not doing well at all. Zach’s turn and he barely makes it past the pool. Zach thought he had an advantage being a graphic designer. He knew if he took his time he’d have a better chance - and is doing really well. Jessica’s turn - She’s doing pretty well, while everyone cheers her on.

Dick got 4, Zach got 6, Eric got only 3. He feels awful that he failed them all. Jameka only got 2. And she feels horrible. Daniele got 7 right, and Jessica only got 4. Daniele wins the power of Veto! She gets the Veto from the Veto Queen, and she is happy to have the power to send Jessica, Jameka or Eric home. You never know what will happen. (dundunDUN…)

We come back and Janelle hugs everyone, and Eric apologizes, she says it’s all good, then makes a face - then tells Dick that he smells good. Gag. Daniele tells Dick they’re pissed and share a victory dance and high five in the HOH room where they giggle and celebrate. And they start thinking about sending Jessica home, giving them the ability to only compete against Eric in the next HOH competition.

Downstairs, Jessica and Eric are talking, and Eric is confident still, but Jessica is clearly worried, and pissed. And Jessica is taking it out on Eric, and being a bit of a bitch about it all, and Eric goes and leaves her alone. (You know, SHE only got one more then he did! Guh.)

Cut to Dick and Zach talking about how hot Janelle is. He’s GIDDY, and the SPROING sound effect is too funny. Daniele tells us that when Janelle told him he was hot, it made her throw up in her mouth a little. He tells us there’s horseface amber, skanky Jen, Seeing Janelle was RIGHT ON and the flirting wasn’t one sided, what a great way to end the day.

Eric and Dick go hot tubbing, and Eric is talking down Jameka again. Dick is really rather non-committal, and then says Jameka has to know that Jessica is closer to D/D. It makes Eric confident as he tells us everything is fine. Dick tells us that over-confidence has been the downfall of quite a few people, and Dick and Daniele hold the power to send home whoever they want.

Jessica and Eric are in the back yard, again and she’s still worried, and Eric tries to console her. He promises he’d tell her if he knew different. Jessica is still being pretty bitchy about it all, and he’s talking her down, and then they start flirting and making out. Again. Awwww…

We come back and it’s time for America’s Player to get his task! He’s laughing already. He must mimic the actions and words of the houseguest - and it’s Dick! He says it’s going to be a lot of fun. Round one! He has to do it on 3 separate occasions. He grabs a cigarette and he goes right for it. Dick tells us that Eric started this and doesn’t know where it came from and he thinks it’s funny - isn’t imitation the sincerest form of flattery? Eric told us that he was the perfect choice, as he’s pranked Eric many times. He even spits, and Daniele is giggling and comments that he’s so happy doing it - though it’s gross. Round 2 complete!

Here comes Round three! He mimics dick eating cereal, so dick starts throwing it on them, while Zach’s laugh completely makes this hysterical with his laughter of confusion in the back ground. They’re making a mess, and everyone is confused, but laughing. Task completed!

Dick is talking about how Jameka is awful, and is weighing all the possibilities. Daniele joins him, and they talk about not being able to sleep, trying to figure out what to do. This is the first time they’ve considered betraying the alliance, and it’s not in his nature to do so. They have to decide to do it now, or not at all. Daniele is pushing for a decision that will make them go farther in the game.

It’s time for the Veto Meeting! Daniele tells us the options are plentiful, and she has to decide what will be better for her and Dick. Jessica says she’d be happy if the veto was used to take Jessica, and put up Eric because it’d be better to have him in the position then her. Jameka wants her to use it and put up Dick (…delusional much?) and Eric wants them to stay the same and Jameka to go home.

Daniele calls the meeting to order, and gives the nominees a chance to speak. Jameka says she’s been excited and grateful to be there this far, and she’ll respect Daniele’s decision. Jessica says being on the block is difficult, and she respects all of them for being on the block before. It’s hard, if she would use it, it’d be nice, but if not she’d understand. Daniele says it’s a hard place to be - it’s been a season of back dooring, and she’s going to keep it short and sweet, and not use the power of veto this week. And the meeting is adjourned.

Jameka tells us she’s not ready to go, she still has fight in her. Jessica says her fate is in Dick and Daneile’s hands but she doesn’t trust them at all. Daniele says it’s a matter of timing and deciding what’s the better for her and Dick.
