Big Brother Craze

Previously, on Big Brother 8! Eric failed to take his romance with Jessica to the next level again- and again… (hahahhah! Poor Eric. He got no game. At least he KNOWS he ain’t got no game, though!)

After the recap, we rejoin our Hamsters right after the nomination ceremony, where Zach tells us that Jessica told him she could trust him, and it was a bold faced lie and he’ll get her back if he gets the chance. Amber still believes she’s safe and God is looking out for her, and she won’t show doubt. Dick is proud that his alliance is rolling through the house like a steamroller. Daniele knows that you can’t trust anyone 100%, but she’ll wait and see.

Amber goes to bed, to cry and pray, and prays in the DR too, begging for help to be strong. (As my friend Jamie just screamed in my AIM window FFS WHAMBER!)

Daniele talks to Zach and tells him he can’t expect to be there and not get nominated. And he says he’s screwed for the POV if he doesn’t win it and is playing on shaky ground.

Jameka and Eric join Jessica in the HOH room, where Jameka thanks her, and she tells us that she was surprised that Amber was nominated. Daniele joins and says Zach is upset, and Jessica feels that he’ll hate her. Jameka is still hoping the POV will be used and Daniele would be backdoored. She goes right to Amber and says that she can’t get any information about back door or anything. Amber is safe if they stay the same because Zach will go. They’re both quite confident in this.

Errisica time! Firty time from the night they stayed up all night outside. Jessica is giggling and says she sees wedding bells in the future and they get all cuddly. Aw…

OMG Monks Chanting! Brilliant! Cue Jameka’s crying sobbing praying in the HOH room. She tells us she felt compelled to give thanks for being out to live out her dreams, but they were thankful tears, I’m not worthy tears, you continue to amaze me tears. Jessica joins, and checks on her and gives her a hug. Jessica tells us that first she thought she’d fallen and hurt herself, but that she was praying. She tells Jameka that she doesn’t talk about it, but she’s into church too, but she doesn’t bring it up in the house and she understands and praying in there is totally cool. And they talk a bit about her being Catholic. Jameka tells us it was nice to hear.

Time for Zach to talk to Jessica. He says he isn’t happy about being up and didn’t see it coming, but that it makes sense, and he puts forth his theory - which involves selling out Dick and Daniele, of course. He tells us the obvious, he’s hinting at a backdoor plan to break them up. Duh. Jessica says she doesn’t trust Dick and Daniele and it’d feel good to get one of them out this week.

As you all know, Amber and Daniele went on a mystery trip! The houseguests get to watch where they went, finally! They see the same clip, as we saw last Thursday, and Daniele cries when she sees Nick there. They get to watch the Power of 10 (that we just watched, conveniently!). They don’t believe Drew’s really the host of the Price is Right. hahah! Everyone looks shocked that Amber beat Daniele, while Daniele cries. Dick is surprised that Amber beat Daniele, and Amber cries, while watching herself cry. Get a hold of yourself woman.

Dick tells us she woulda been pissed if Amber had won, and Daniele says that she would have liked to see Nick, but that’s what sucks is she didn’t know till then who it was, and it sucks.

ERISSICA TIME! Eric joins Jessica up in the HOH room, after telling us they’ve been getting close - and using copious amounts of mouthwash. This is the footage from the kiss the other day - and they haven’t shown the Kiss AP task yet - GOOD FOR YOU BIG BROTHER! HURRAY! They had the first kiss, and giggling and ABOUT TIME! And spoke of being attracted to each other. Awww! (I’m so glad they showed it this way! Thank you BB! Lessa is a very happy, hopeless romantic!)

Time to pick Veto Players! Amber says she hopes Dick and Daniele don’t play, because they’ll fight to win. Duh. Jessica picks Daniele, Zach picks Houseguests choice and picks Eric! He gets to play in his first Veto Competition! Zach says there’s a better chance of him using it to save Zach and backdoor dick or Daniele. Amber picks Jameka, and Dick is the host - as he’s the only one left. Ha!

Zach pulls Eric aside and tells him that he knows that Zach was put up so that Dick and Daniele could be backdoored, and Eric eats his banana and doesn’t commit either way. He tells us that Zach makes compelling arguments, but they chose not to wipe them out yet, though they do need to go.

Time to play for the Power of Veto, all you Cool Cats! Dick smells a Rat!

They go outside into a swamp - totally cool! And there’s the Cheshire Cat! Jessica says it’s a gross forest. The lazy cat before them is hungry, you have to satisfy his craving for rats. Each one will stand on the treestump - the word or phrase is the answer to the riddle on a rat in the swamp. You grab the rat, bring it back to the cat, last one to arrive is eliminated, last one standing wins!

Cat Scratch Veto Round one! Answer: Dustin.
Everyone is running around and searching, Jameka gets back first, then Zach, Amber, Daniele, leaving Jessica and Eric still looking - Eric gets it, and Jessica is mad (cutely!). What Rat have you brought back? “He was number 6 to go, enemy to one name Joe.” and “Parading in his cape and crown, his eviction made him frown.” Jessica is eliminated.

Round two - answer: Slop
Eric and Daniele are back first, and Zach doesn’t care what he has to do since his butt is on the line. He gets back, then Amber, Jameka is last. What Rat have you brought back? “This concoction is crude, barely passes as food.” and “Your outlook is bleak when you eat this for week.” Jameka is out.

Round three - answer: Nick
Zach is back first, then Amber, Eric says he wanted to play hard for Jessica so that they have the power. Eric gets back right before Daniele. What Rat have you brought back? “Who could know he’d be the 4th to go” and “His heart rang like a bell for houseguest Daniele.” Daniele is out - on Nick’s question, that had her name in it. *L*

Round four answer: Jen
Amber is back FAST. Eric is back, and Zach pushes him off! Amber thought that was rude - What Rat have you brought back? “Big brother thought it would be hard, but she loved the unitard.” and “She was HOH number two, and she claimed her word was true.” Zach is out.

Round five answer: Veto
Eric and Amber have a hard time finding that one, but Eric is back first! What Rat have you brought back? “It may come as a shock, if you win this you are off the block.”

ERIC WINS THE POWER OF VETO! He’s understandably excited - First chance to PLAY, first veto WIN, it feels good!

Amber says she’s depressed, and wants to crawl in a hole and die, and Zach thinks there’s a chance of backdooring Dick or Daniele, and it makes Daniele nervous! Daniele and Dick talk, Daniele is nervous, but Dick is confident. They talk more, and they know Jessica is their main target. UH OH!

We come back to see Eric get his America’s Player Task! He laughs as he reads that he must kiss who America has chosen - jokes “Come on Evel Dick!” and he is happy that America is taking care of him. He’s already completed that task on his own terms, but is happy to do it again. Mouthwash time! and I love the music. He grabs her for a hug - and gets his kiss - barely. HAHAH! (It was a little peck this time.)

Time for Amber to plead her case with Eric to use the Veto on her. (Please. Someone teach Amber to sit with her legs CLOSED!) She of course cries, and throws Dick and Daniele under the buss, and no one wants to sit next to her (Amber) in the final two, and she keeps talking and talking, and says her word is golden (barf!). He says he agrees, but he is going to honor and respect what Jessica wants as Head of Household. Jessica comes in, and Amber leaves. Time for Jessica to plead her case. She’s worried about making the wrong decision. She’s doesn’t trust Dick and Daniele (And vice versa!) and they discuss all the aspects. Jessica worries that it’s the biggest mistake ever. Jessica says there’s a possibility that there’s a secret agenda and if he cared he’d use the power of veto. (…ouch. Come on BB - don’t lose me with your editing after doing so well earlier!)

Time for the Veto Meeting! Eric says that he has a lot of compelling options as to what to do with the Veto. Amber feels that he will do what’s convenient for him. Daniele says he wouldn’t be shocked if he did and one of them went up, she’d just feel like an idiot. Zach thinks it could be revenge and backdoor Daniele.

Eric opens the veto meeting, and Amber says no one wants to be up in that chair, but she respects whatever decision he makes. Zach says he’s one of 7 still standing, Eric has the power to make the decisions and he’ll live with it. Eric says he took the chance to talk to everyone and everyone told him there were clear treats to his safety. He knows that there are 7 threats, one is going to win, they say to expect the unexpected and that is why he is choosing to NOT use the power of veto this week.

Amber says it was cowardly and selfish, evil he has no soul and she wants to be there more then anyone. Zach says he is dumbfounded, he thinks Eric made it harder. Jessica says it sucks when they disagree on strategy, but they are working together to get farther in the game. Eric says he knows we, America, wanted Amber nominated, so now we have the chance to send her home and that’s why he didn’t use the power of veto.

For the record - I’m voting Amber again. The fact that she has spent the past few days kissing Eric’s ass to his face, and behind his back calling him evil and that he has no soul? Sorry Amber, your two-faced, hypocritical ass needs to GO. I’d rather someone hate me to my face, then stab me in the back, ANY DAY. I hope ya’ll will join me! VOTE AMBER!
