Big Brother Craze

-:20 Tonight’s the night - we get the POV Competition at last, and the wheeling and dealing beforehand AND a speech by the POV winner that I just know will be fun! I have it on good authority (aka - the rumblings of the houseguests afterwards) that there is something in the POV competition that is a direct affront to my delicate Phobic Sensibilities… but I’ll do my best to hang in there for you and ignore it’s slithering ickyness.

:00 Previously on Big Brother…. Here we go kids!

:02 We flash back to the end of the nomination ceremony, where April and Jerry were nominated. Jerry says he was in the Marines after he turned 17, it was kill or be killed, it’s gotten him this far. Renny says that April is her target, she’s a big threat and would get in her way of winning the money. April says that everyone says they won’t take it personally, but they are, and she’d be a liar if she said it didn’t hurt, it’s tough. Ollie says his plan worked, his conversation and Renny heard him out, thank the Lord.

Dan wants to know why it isn’t Ollie and April, she had a chance to break up the couple and leads him to believe she made a deal with Ollie. He and Memphis meet in the store room, and they know they can’t win POV or Dan/Memphis will go up, they have to “fight our ass off.”

In the Doom Room, April congratulates Ollie and he says not too, and if he wins POV, he’ll take her off. Ollie says a lot can happen from there. She’s feeling bad, but she has to start thinking aobut how to get out of it. The game just begain, can’t see her down. She says she has to be upset for a few minutes and look vunulable for a while. He asks what she’s thinking, he says nothing, she says that she’s past that, he says play your game, she needs him to be hiim, he says he’s there for her.

In the HOH - Keesha joins Renny to check on her. Renny says it was two from the trio and she did what she had to do, she likes Ollie and she couldn’t see putting him on the block. Keesha tells us that if April or Jerry win the Veto, Renny won’t put Ollie up, she could put up Keesha, Memphis or Dan and that’s scary. Renny says in the HOH people shouldn’t feel safe, and Keesha says she doesn’t, even with Renny up there. Renny says some people are targeted and they’re gonna go. Keesha says its a crazy game.

Jerry in the Doom room - need to get his ass outa the bed and do something. What you do? nothing. Talk in here. Yes? Have anything important to say? No. Ollie tells us the Colonel might be losing his mind in the game. JErry continues - talk about politics? nope, don’t know what’s going on. Religion? Nope, no church. Family? Yes - I miss my kids, grand children, wife, puppy.. and I’m talking to myself, goodness.

:08 Time to pick for the POV players!
Dan tells us teh one name that can’t come out of the bag is Ollie. He doesn’t know who Renny would put up if Ollie saves April.
Renny picks Dan
Ollie says it’s a necessity for his name to be pulled out of that bag - he needs to win and save April.
April picks Keesha
Jerry picks Ollie. April smiles.
Renny chooses MIchelle to host.

Ollie and April celebrate in the Spa room, about Ollie getting to play. He says they’re not happy about that, he’ll do whatever he can to save her, stay focused, relax and do the job. April says come on fate, fate faate fate, Ollis says someone’s praying for them.

In the hippie room, Dan/Memphis/Keesha talk about it being the worst case scenario, it’d be Memphis or Dan that went up. Keesha lets them know that Renny says she likes ollie, it’s messed up, she’d put them up as a pawn?

Memphis tells us Renny went off the deep end - she’s a loose cannon, he felt like he could trust he, he’s lost that.

He wants to know why she treats ollie so special, but would put them on the block…

:15 It’s time for the Veto Competition! It’s all spooky outside, with grave yards, and bones and bugs… and Dan gets all OMG excited about the python and I’m flipping out now thanks… Ollie says it was freaky and evil and spooky - and there’s a crow, and he says he got close to wetting his pants. And there’s voodoo dolls and Renny says she doesn’t like all them pins sticking in her, down home she knows people that do that, VooDoo is real. hey have five minutes to examine things…

Dan says he knew it had to be caculating estimating and he got to counting - April stuck her hand in the cockroaches, Keesha says she can’t, ew… no way she could stick her hand in that box, oh no. umhm.

Jerry tells us he’ll fight like hell to win, he’s a street fighter. April says her strategy was to win or have Ollie win - it’s all she can do to stay. The object is to get to 3 points. They’ll write down an ammount and reveal the answer, after seeing each answer decide to stay or fold. If you fold, you can’t get a point, if you stay you can go for the point - if you’re closest, you get the point, but if you’re the furtherst from the answer, you’re eliminated. No risk, no reward. First to 3, wins the Power of Veto.

1. The first item may leave you feeling a little snake bit - here’s what 5 inches look like, what is the total length of the serpeent? (And omg quit showing closeups!) Jerry 216, Ollie 215, Renny 540, Dan 140, April 240, Keesha 180. Jerry stays, Ollie folds, Renny stays, Dan folds, April folds, Keesha folds. The length is 260 inches, Jerry gets a point, and Renny is out.

April says she was excited when Renny was eliminated.
(OK. no more snake. SEE HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU PEOPLE? *shakes self, and goes back to recappin)

2. here’s 50 pins in a voodoo doll looks like - how many pins are stuck in all 8 dolls? Jerry 1200, Ollie 1350, Dan 589, April 705, Keesha 960

Jerry stays, Ollie folds - he says he should stay but played it safe. Dan folds. April stays, Keesha stays.Total? 1160. Jerry gets a second point. April is eliminated. Ollie says the pressure then intensified immensly, he had to catch up and beat jerry.

3. Here’s what 5 cockroaches look like - how many are in the tank? Keesh says you couldn’t see inside the box, the only way to know is if you stuck your hand in there. “I don’t think so.”

Dan says Jerry is one point away - his whole strategy is to throw competitions, he can’t do it anymore,b ecause if someone goes down, he or Memphis will go up.

Jerry says 100, Ollie 29, Dan, 69, Keesha says 20. Keesha everyone stays - except Jerry who folds. He had them 2-0 and decided to be protective. Michelle asks if they’d like to see how many are in there - Keesha says no. Everyone chuckles. Total? 195 - Dan gets a point! Jerry says he should have stayed he’d have won, and Keesha is out.

4. Here’s what 2 ounces of blood looks like - how many total are in all the containers on the table?

Jerry 180, Ollie 1280, Dan says 288 - if Jerry’s folding, he’s going to be looking around, he knows he wasn’t playing, and Ollie was scared as can be, Dan is confident and is staying. Ollie folds. Jerry folds. Total is 523. Dan stayed, gets the point. Dan and Jerry are tied with 2 points each, Ollie has none. He tells us that looking at April, he knows he has to get a point to eliminate one.

5. Here’s what 80 nails look like - how many are on the bed of nails?
Ollie says that her days are numbered if Ollie doesn’t win.
Jerry 1800, Ollie 1400, Dan 766

Jerry stays, Ollie stays, Dan stays. The total is…. 914 - Dan wins POV!!! (and aw, did ya see the heart on his answer board, Monica?)

Jerry says he feels disheartened that he threw it away when it was so close. Ollie says April was counting on him, and he felt the weight on his shoulders, and didn’t pull it out, let him down. April says she’ll do anything to get Dan to use the POV on her. Dan says that he’s been trying to break up April and Ollie, and Renny messed up, so he might have to use the POV to get the job done.

:32 April and Michelle console ollie - and April says she has to work on Dan, they cuddle up together, and Ollie congratulates Jerry as he walks by, says he’s a heck of a player. April says again she has to get Dan, and Ollie says to promise that they won’t put them up, she says she has things to give people - 5k. She tells us she does have $5 from the hockey veto competition, and we flash back to that. April says she can use it to bribe dan. Ollie says yeah, the votes, and the money, huge arguements. it’s like candy from a baby, Jerry’s going home. They hug.

Dan tells us he’s mad Renny for not putting up Ollie. He can decide to use the Veto on Jerry, and get Renny to put up Ollie.

:34 Jerry and Dan go to the Storage Room to talk. Dan tells us last week that Jerry was coming after him with everything he had. He needed to talk to him. Ollie says he doesn’t have anything for him, and he knows he took a nasty shot at him last week, in the POV. He says he had a streetfighter mentality, and for that comment, he’ll take it off the table, it was uncalled for. his week if he stays, my loyalty will be to those that help him stay. He’s alone, he’s counting on Dan’s side, and will help protect them. It’s all he can do, he’s hoping. You keep me, you get another alliance. They shake hands, and Dan leaves the SR.

He says he’d consider using it, it’d turn an enemy to a friend and he’d have 0 enemies in the house.

Outside, Dan and Memphis talk about Renny, and who Ollie would put up? memphis says he has no reason to put anyone up, but he’s a wild card. an says Ollie needs to go up - and Dan tells us taht you always know where April is coming from, you can see her bleach blond hair a mile away, but Ollie hides behind that hair.

Dan tells Memphis that he’d rather make a move then have one made on him.

:40 Dan asks Renny if she’s ready to do his hair, tells us that he thinks the 14th house guest is his hair, it’s out of control. He gives Renny a hard time, and she says I don’t need to explain to you, I’m the hair dresser. Dan tells us that he’s resting his prize possession in the hands of someone who could be crazy… and we hear his prayer as she cuts the hair and everyone giggles. Renny - if you don’t shut up, I’m gonna scalp the crap outa you. How much are you taking off? Renny - as much as I want. Dan - just don’t make a mistake Renny OOPS! - everyone laughs and Dan says he has the most compitant hairdresser in America. Length A+, kissability A+!

It’s time for the smaller table! Dan says goodby little spinny thing on top. Keesha says it’s amazing the effect one person leaving has on the house. She tells Renny she liked the big table, Renny says it was a bitch to dust.

:44 April goes to talk to Dan at poolside. He says he’s open to suggestions, and April tells him she likes that about him. She doesn’t know why she is being targeted, Jerry could have won his thrid POV. She says she doesn’t know what Jerry offered him, and Dan says nothing. He says that he has a perfect reason to get rid of Jerry. April says if she stays in the game, she and Ollie won’t come after her, she can give him her word, Ollie’s word… and maybe a little cash or something. if he’d let her know if there’s anything she can give him, say to him,… He says he’ll let her know.

Dan tells Memphis he needs to talk to Renny, get some info out of her. Dan tells us that if he used the Veto, he’d want to see Ollie go up. Dan would have to be sure he knew who was going up. Dan tells Renny that he doesn’t want to disrupt anything she’s done, and he needs to know if Renny and ollie made a deal. Renny says no… a deal? Renny says she liked Ollie. Dan throws out a couple scenarios - if JErry comes off, who would you put up? Renny says come off where? You mean the block? You’d take Jerry off? I’d looka t you as a traitor. Dan tells us he has no clue, she’s not cracking, not showing her cards. He tells her that it’s this week that’ll show who can be trusted. Renny says oh I trust you, that you’ll keep it the same.

:52 It’s time for the POV ceremony. Dan says if he uses it on April and JErry, it’s risk/reward, he needs to figure out what’s worth it to get to the end. April says his worst fear is for Dan to take down Jerry,b ecause Ollie would go up and she’d go home. Jerry says he doesn’t feel safe, his dream would be to have it used on him. Dan calls the ceremony to order.

“Whatup. Time for the Veto Meeting.”

Jerry says Dan, i’m 75, grew up hard, and am set in my ways, I don’t sugar coa things. Heated issues, I take on the street fighters mentality and I can get nasty, I did last week, when I referred to you as Judas, I apologize, congratulate you on winning the POV, use it as you see fit.

April says Congrats, I honor renny’s wishes, and would never expect you to use it on me, though it would be appreciated, I appreciate Renny’s decision, so.

Dan says first that he respects them both, and that they came to talk to him. One did bring an interesting proposition, which involved money, and being where he’s from, it made a tough decision, he decided too… not use the power of Veto. This meeting is Adjourned.

Dan says he wanted to put some doubt in peoples mind about the money, the more paranoia outside of him the better. Jerry says the eye of the storm right now and the worst part is the second half, he thinks that the game will get violent. Ollie says the plan didn’t work, time for plan B - use the mouthpiece and get April the votes. April says that she’d look stupid saying she’s not going home, and if she thinks she doesn’t have the votes, she’s going to be a total bitch.
